So what are you wearing? : Fallout: New Vegas

I was having a touch time deciding on what my Couriers should wear during their travels through the Mojave Wasteland, but I find myself a little torn especially as I'm finding conflicting information on the Wiki regarding the Silent Running perk and whether or not it actually does remove the penalties to sneaking when wearing medium and heavy armor (or in other words, sneaking at the same rate if youre nvde or in power armor)

SO my question is: What does your courier most often wear in FONV when cruisin', questin', killin' in the wastes?

Right now, as I'm not to Vegas yet, he's wearing a Field Hand outfit, with a Cattleman cowboy hat. When I arrive in Vegas, I'll invest in Snazzier clothing

Me and all my companions except arcade wear the black combat armor. my character wears a headband as well.

While I'm wandering, I wear Leather Armor, Reinforced and a Tuxedo Hat. My character bears a strong resemblance to Abraham Lincoln, and he looks completely B.A. with that combo. But when I am in the city I like to wear a Roving Trader Hat and Naughty Nightwear.

Usually I wear veteran ranger armor and the ranger hat that ghost wears but every once in a while i'll don the reinforced leather armor and a legion veteran helmet.

Right now, a suit of t-45d, because the only suit of t-51b I've got is at about 1% condition.

Why would I sweat my way across the wastes when I could have my own climate-controlled radiation shields? Oh, and the heavy armored plates and the strength-boost help too. Before that, it was Reinforced Leather and a Desperado Hat, with Authority Glasses.

I find myself confined to using only Vera's Outfit, Lucky Shades, and the 1st Recon Beret, the only exception being combat, where I switch Vera's Outfit with the Centurion Armour, or for stealthy BB Gun massacres; the NCR Ranger Combat Armour. The evil tickle I get from killing NCR with the 1st Recon Beret is better than the stats it gives.
