I imagine most beast's will have radiant AI,but it's also been stated that some beasts will attack regardless, because it's in their nature :)

It does seem they're paying more attention to wildlife this time around. Given the example with the wolves (they attack when they're hunting, and will stay back and defend their kill after they got something) makes it sound like beasts that attack you will have a reason for doing so, and aren't just homicidal.

So your a pyromaniac, is what I'm guessing, right?

The urge to set things on Fire is controllable, but in a video game your usually free to do as you please with little to no real life consequences. It's an activity I enjoy, and I also enjoy playing TES. It's just something I really want in TES Skyrim, and my concern is if the extent of environmental burning is static, as in it burns in one place and doesn't spread. I'm hoping for the Fire to spread a bit before it expires, but IIRC in the GI article it was stated that the burning environment would spread to your enemies. I can't completely recall, but if Fire propagation isn't much more than that, I'm sure I'll live.

Quite honestly, I'd like all the elements to have an impact to the environment, but Fire is naturally what came first to mind. Thinking about it, dragon attacks would be more epic. And really, who wouldn't want their Fire enchantments and spells to set things alight? :flamethrower:

Rain. I need RAAAAAAAAAAIN that doesn't go through roofs.

Agreed. Both my Fire Mage and Khajiit Assassin would adore this.

I... actually have no concern at all. The more I hear about Skyrim the more it resembles to my vision of the ultimate game. At this point it sounds like it's going to be the best of the series. In my opinion of course.
One thing i'd like to see though is grappling with your hands.

My biggest concern is the map. It is the same size of oblivion, which i wish it was bigger. Then you add all this mountains amd i feel like you will lose space to roam. It would be nice to hear that the roaming area is the same regardless of the amount of mountains. Also i hope that many mountains can be climbed.

That there won't be as much plants to harvest/no harvesting at all (has anything been said on that matter?) so I can't satisfy my manic tendencies of getting every single plant in the area or fill chests with ingredients.

Oh God, I love it so much.

As for UI, that has svcked for PC users since Morrowind, so i don't except it to change. i just hope there'll be modders to fix it.

You saying that Daggerfall had a good UI? :P

Of the TES games I've played Morrowind had the best UI.

Level Scaling, I don't want highway men holding me up when they have incredibly awesome armor and weapons . . .

Oh OH oh I have one!

How about gates or portcullis es ssss i? whatever the plual is

See, I ust HATE the way tha even though a baddy can see me, and I can see it, and I can be detected, through the gate...I can't shot a skinny widdle arrow through the bars! :faepalm: C'mon! Where's the reality in THAT! ;)

But ya, wish that would change. Of course, that's just a minor thing, unlike the whole idea of more thoughtful game instead of a more combat oriented game (seems to moving to te latter, just my opinion and is my major concern)

I don't really have any concerns about the game, I think it will be amazing.

That said, there are some things that would be nice to see. Climbing would be nice this time around. Ladders, rocky cliffs, and fences. It always seemed funny at the beginning of the game that you couldn't climb over a two rail fence, but you could jump it if your acrobatics was high enough.

More puzzle oriented quests would be nice, and I think Bethesda will come through on this one. Also along those lines, puzzles to gain entrance or advance through dungeons would also be very cool. Myst like puzzles, but not so insanely difficult - like you find a few symbols around and have to figure out the order from a code you have found in a ancient text. Or you find an area that seems impassable, but if you rearrange some objects a door appears or it enables you to get to an area that was previously not accessible. It seems as though Bethesda is going to have more unique dungeons so I think we could possibly see something along these lines.

personally the only concern I can think of is that weapons, just like oblivion are cookie cutter stat wise, aka a iron longsword and a elven Longsword only look different and have different damage, but are otherwise the same.

And in turn that there be no way to ramp up attack speed, so I can create a lightning fast fighter who strike 5 times for every 1 swing my foe does.

Inventory management-The way they changed it from Morrowind to Oblivion was bad,as i believe many think as well, even with the idea of making it more streamline and easier for people, the end result was poor, and I'm afraid we might have the same in Skyrim with all this Apple sort menus.
Spell making-Was pretty nerfed from Morrowind to Oblivion, hope it wont be even more now.
Enchantment-Was very good the way we had it in Morrowind, and like spell making was nerfed to the ground, and don't bring the "Was over powered" talk, cause it wasn't in Morrowind.
One thing that i don't remember ever reading anywhere, was how in Morrowind EVERY single npc, even a lousy bandit in a hidden forgotten cave, had a name, and in Oblivion was all generic bandit this, marauder that,i think that was a big big immersion breaker there, really hope thats better handled in Skyrim.
And hopefully better system stability,to avoid all the evil ctd's we all came to hate :(

I am not particularly concerned about anything, as it were.

However, I kind of hope that we might still be able to choose a general class (i.e., combat, stealth, magic) and then perhaps have the skills in that skills level up faster than those in the other classes. I thought it was fun to make decisions like this.

Implementation of the game on PC and using today's PC power to it's fullest extent, perhaps more so as Oblivion did.

When I say "a true successor to Morrowind" I am not looking for Morrowind 2, I am hoping for another great game. IMO Oblivion was a giant wast of time and didn't deserve TES on the box. I will never argue that everyone let alone anyone should agree with my opinion of Oblivion. We are all looking for different things. I was totally absorbed in Morrowind, so I overlooked any flaws. I was completely bored to death with Oblivion, so the flaws were magnified.

I just want the rush of entering an area, not knowing if my low level character will survive. I have a feeling I will not be disappointed.

Don't read this the wrong way, but, Morrowind had a lot of short comings that oblivion fixed in my opinion. IMO, Oblivion was just too short. Everything else was fine aside from the fact that it would be cool to see your basic marauder capped at at least -ebony-. Ebony isn't rare, its just expensive. Maybe they stole it? Daedric isn't rare either, it just normally belongs to powerful people and beings, and if a more powerful person wants to take it, they generally will. It was cool you didn't find random daedric items in shops in both Morrowind and Oblivion like you did in daggerfall. Imagine just raiding that shop at night and getting half a suit of Daedric. Totally cheap. Anywho, ramblings aside, TES V feels like its a few steps further in the right direction, and feels like its correcting the poor steps oblivion took. Its obviously not going to be perfect or anything, but I think one shouldn't get their hopes so high for it. If one played Morrowind first, and then expects Skyrim to be a "Successor" to Oblivion/Morrowind then they should think again, considering this is the elder scrolls, where sequels aren't quite the same as your conventional series.

I'm not really worried about anything. Too many folks try to take a new TES game as an incremental update rather then something closer to a reinvention like it is. The only thing that would upset me would be a lack of good advancement in lore and the amount of books and other things that expand our knowledge of the Elder Scrolls universe. From what I have heard so far I don't think we have too much to worry about.

How is it poor game design if there is a Deadric invasion going on? It makes sense that there was a lot of Deadric armor.

Yeah, makes a lot of sense, even if you never started the MQ and opened the gates....

My biggest concern is with dual wielding shieles. sixy btw. Im hoping that Shield Bash can be used offensively. Instead of me racking up on Damage Reflect gear.

Dragons. I'm concerned about the way they'll handle battling them, I just can't picture it...
Especially if there are humongous dragons you have to fight
