And what is the best combination?

When it comes to vanilla clothes, Buffy's wearing what is probably our fave skirt and blouse http://i.imgur.com/jQlFcVk.jpg.
The red velvet outfit with the green velvet shoes. My battlemage, Clyde, wears them as http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g361/Caelan_Talmadge/96ea44d8-4aee-4b77-a33d-d002ab802d25.jpg
My characters tend to prefer armour to clothing, but I am partial to the green brocade doublet. I think it's perfect for male mages because unlike robes it covers the wrist irons. At least I'm pretty sure it does, it's been a while since I had a character who wore one.
It's a terrible choice for male archers though, those big cuffs get in the way when sniping.
Amaryis adores that blouse. She's wearing it with the Huntsman Pants. When she wants to dress up she wears Blue Silks that she found on a dead scholar in Sideways Cave. She's just beginning her adventures, though, so she may find other outfits she likes better. We'll see...
right now I've got my old conjurer (i made him as old as i possibly could) with neon white hair running around wearing that dark shirt and black pants combo. he's young at heart.
He looks pretty good. Is it the normal game?
It's a character-based thing for me. Etta always wore the "quilted" top that Acadian likes, but with a brown skirt or a pair of leather pants (for battle.) It looked really good with the cutlass she carried as a sword.
Fitzie opted for the red velvet set. It has purple trim that matches her hair nicely.
Caius Cosades went for the huntsman vest with a pair of dark pants. As in Morrowind, he carries an extra pair of pants enchanted with chameleon.
Silvonwe went for bad color combinations, like red and green with a blue mage's hood. No clothes horse there!
Phoebe discovered the blue silk outfit early on, and wore it often. Recently, she's more likely to be wearing the Sheogorath Regalia, or Syl's dress. She's the boss. She can wear whatever she wants.
Wild Elf wears just a smile.
Thanks. Heh. It's modded. I doubt I'd be capable of something that good looking in vanilla.
