I suppose I'll buy at release date, but I will see the announcement at E3 before I decide.

Never do day one Bethesda releases is what I've learned. Hell, months down the line their games are usually still buggy as hell. Plus it costs £50 day one which is a bit pricey. Gonna let that go down a bit before i purchase it.
I will most likely be pre-ordering, though I would only do so if there would be a discount for doing so. I really don't want any extras or anything. I saw what came with the New Vegas Collectors edition..didn't care. Same with Skyrim. I'm just not a collector of those things, and if I really wanted to collect those items, I'm sure I could find them later on.
The only thing I've ever really collected are game posters. Though I rarely hang them.
And I want a physical copy of the game.
Though I have regretted the one Bethesda pre-order, but only slightly. I'm glad I didn't preorder New Vegas and got it cheaper later on, but I do want to play this game right away...bugs be damned. I'll deal with them like I did with Skyrim.
Ill preorder when I get more info on it. They don't even have system requirements. People are so positive they want it, they're preordering a mystery box.
I rarely pre-order games, but I make some exceptions. The Witcher 3, for example, I bought a month ahead of it's release because I was so hyped for that game and I knew that I was gonna buy it day 1 anyway. Fallout 4 is the same. I will most likely pre-order it.
I just preordered on steam.
eff it, if my computer cant hack it, ill buy a new rig!
I to am waiting on special/limited edition.
I think I'll pre-order it on Steam, when it will be available in my region.
Mostly like pre-order... From the games I have played of Bethesda's, they seem to be getting better from Oblivion. (In my opinion, Morrowind was one of their best games and then Oblivion was one of their worse but it gotten better in Fallout 3 and Skyrim over time, and Skyrim came close to being better than Morrowind overall in my opinion; discounting New Vegas here).
I've pre-ordered Skyrim and was happy so most likely will pre-order Fallout 4 when I can. Hopefully even getting any special edition (Bobbleheads <3 anyone?).
I will probably get it, but there is no discount for preordering so there is no reason to buy it early. Besides, I want to see more information before I commit.
Pre-Ordered as soon as it was up on Steam. I have been waiting five years for the next Fallout game, and I have been "hunting" rumors for this new title for at least 3 years.
Waiting for certain kind of info before making a decision to purchase at all.
I'll wait until after release and then look at all the reviews, watch some gameplay videos, and then decide. By the time all that's finished, Bethesda will likely have released some patches to fix the mass of bugs we all know will be there at launch. Hopefully the pre-order bonuses and special editions won't be too tempting.
I'll pre-order if the E3 gameplay (assuming there will be some) is good and we get a release date. Bethesda's earned my trust with this stuff, after the horrendous Aliens: Colonial Marines debacle I generally never pre-order.
This is the first game I will ever preorder. I cannot wait to play this.
My first post on here in awhile... I plan to pre-order at some point this year, but not right away. Got some things to work out, first. F RL
Whenever I see people say they'll wait for GOTY edition, I think to myself "Soooo...see you in a year or two?"
Going to wait for a bit till most of the patches are out.
Had it on day 1 with Skyrim.
I've done this for a couple games. DA:O, FO-NV, etc. Currently waiting on the GotY edition of Wasteland 2 (it's already been announced). It helps that I was hopelessly playing something else when these first came out. When I can play a game like MW for years it's easy to get a backlog on games to get later. Right now however I'm just playing Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines (loving it ... once it's patched), I do have a STEAM wishlist that is growing and waiting on the Summer sales, so I'll have to wait and see about what I'll be doing when this game comes out.
I'll probably wait for like a couple of months after it releases before I buy it. Want to see gamer reviews and all that.
Why would you pre-order? Pre-ordering was originally to reserve a copy to make sure you got one on day one instead of having to wait. Now with digital sales, there are infinite copies. The game will require Steam anyway so there's no benefit to getting a hard copy as long as you have decent internet. Slow internet or getting the collector's edition are the only good reasons to pre-order.
Pre-ordering for no good reasons encourages big game developers to sit back and release buggy, broken messes of games because they have millions of guaranteed sales even before release. This is why Assassins' Creed Unity and Halo Master Chief Edition had such terrible launches.
