What are your purchase plans?

Post » Thu Nov 26, 2015 1:03 pm

I personally feel burned and wary about future Bethesda offerings. I have also become keenly aware that if I wait, I'll be able to purchase the full game (DLCs bundled). So, if I buy, it will be much later. I'm more likely to rent from Redbox just to try it out.

I may go with a pre-order if they put out a special edition or some promo materials. Which they will. It's not like I won't be buying the game.

My computer probably can't run Fallout 4. So it may be a good long time before I can buy it.

Collector's edition, either pre-order or day one buy, depends on availability.

Day 1 purchase for me, I don't really need to worry about pre-ordering where I live. Maybe ill get one of those $5 pre-order cards from wal-mart just to make sure.

If Fallout 4 has everything I want in it when Bethesda Softworks shows off everything about Fallout 4 at their E3 2015 conference. I might actually pre order Fallout 4.

If Fallout 4 does not have everything I want. I will just possibly purchase the Game of the Year (GOTY), when it has all of the DLC's, Expansion Packs, and Patches included.

Going to wait. Watch/read some reviews from normal players, and see if the game is worth it.

Err what about the option to wait for release see what reviewers are saying and get some word of mouth input and then buying or not buying? Which is not the same as waiting for the goty edition.

Wait for more information and gameplay to determine if I like what I see before jumping on the pre-order train.

I usually never get collector's editions for games because they're ridiculously expensive, but for my favorite video game series, I could make an exception.

I would ask you to include another option that i intend to vote for.

"- Wait for reviews"

I amongs those people that were very disapointed by Fo3 and hope they will improve the experience after FoNV.

I get that it isn't a widely shared opinion, but for me, it was really a painfull experience to play Fo3 and don't want to do that again.

If Fo4 is the same level of Fo3, or even worse, i won't play it.

On the other hand, if i read enough good reviews (from trusted sources) that will convince me that the game is significantly better than Fo3-FoBos, i might get it.

Because i want to believe they can improve themselves. From the level they come from they can only go up.

If the release is anytime soon. I'll preorder it.

If not, I'll wait till it's almost time before preordering. I seriously hope they don't [censored]IN announce the release date is towards the end of the [censored] year. I know they want to make sure they have a worthy product, but damnit, We've waited far too long for this!

Probably pre-order, but it may change depending on certain factors, both related and unrelated to the game itself.

I'll be getting the pre-purchase on Steam as soon as it comes online. Steam has been very nice about getting New Vegas and Skyrim to me on day one without me having to go to a store or anything like that. Just pre-load it a few days before, and play it in the morning on launch day.

At any rate, I certainly won't be buying it until the system requirements have been released.
