What are your thoughts about this so far?

I was wondering... Just how difficult will Skyrim be with the added dragon encounters? I currently play a Khajiit that uses no armor, a bow and hand to hand for self defense. Do you think that playing without armor in Skyrim could be a deadly mistake if caught in the wilderness by a raging dragon out for blood?

Well i really hope Dragons are hard a lot , i hope i get my hearth pumping when i see one , if i were you and i am near a Dragon i would put my armor on and get ready for the party , then you can play as a naked Khajiit again :intergalactic:

If i see a Dragon and go poke poke poke = dead i would feel really down :shakehead:

If you wear no armour when fighting, I'm afraid that's just a bad choice gameplaywise which I presume you have done for roleplaying or style purposes. Just have to live with the fact that you'llget crushed! Though I guess you can jsut turn down the difficulty anyway.

Unless they brought back the unarmored skill (which I doubt), fighting in your clothes (unless they're heavily enchanted with shield spells) is a bad idea.

Or you could just run and let it eat the naked Khajiit.

I think the shouts will help out a whole lot, even for someone who uses little to no armor, however those may not be usable in that sense for a good while into the main quest. I plan to be doing a lot of running when dragons decide to chat with me

Perhaps there'll be unarmored-like perks.

If no cuirass is worn -> Armor rating +5.

Yeah that's what I'm hoping for, I want to see a dragon and drop a load in my pants of fear :D

I will probably end up making 3 characters in the end though, maybe more if other races look interesting enough, probably a stealth Khajiit with light armor, a heavy armored warrior Khajiit ( I really like Khajiit lol ) and a Nord warrior in heavy armor wielding either a sword and shield or a claymore, I haven't decided yet. I can never pick between the two, I love the look and feel of a claymore, but duel wielding a sword and shield or a longsword and dagger/short sword combo would be just sick as hell haha. Still I'll probably go claymore in the end because I just love the look and feel of them =)

I hope the dragon A.I. is not telling them to chase me and only me, if I run into a lair of something and the dragon follows I hope I can see dragon vs other creatures fights and then I'll stay and watch. I'm also curious what's the dragon doing when I hide like described in the articles (enter a house, a cave, etc). Will it go back to its encounter area or will it wait outside like the hostile helicopters in Far Cry?

Hit and run tactics my friend.

Use the environment for cover and be quick. Or be dead.
