never build a camp fire in your tent ,take it from me its not a good idea and certainly dont build it in the entrance no no no .
but being serious i think being able to make camp where and when you see fit should be the way to go not at pre designated sites as is found in a certain game ,but the normal rules of fire should apply such as catching fire if you stand on it ,keeping away wild animals ,attracting others both friend and foe (human /ghoul),visible smoke trails unless camping under trees which difuse the smoke ,small health boost from warming the character near it at night ,maybe even sneaking through an enemys camp at night and suspending a duct taped grenade bouqet over the fire and getting the flock out of there to watch the ensuing chaos as the duct tape melts and tents get torched and raiders roasted .
i think making fire a usable weapon as well as a tool for crafting could be both fun and useful by usable weapon i mean not just a flamer or molotovs but the ability to start a blaze to create a distraction /diversion to do dastardly deeds EAGLES MAY FLY HIGH, BUT WEASLES DONT GET svckED INTO JET ENGINES
