In there homeland. i can't imagine a horse living in the swamps. so what do you think they would use, maybe giant lizards, idk.

Hist-root-transport.

Im sure its described in one of Morrowind's books unless Im confused with the Bosmer and their green pact.
In fact, Im pretty sure its Bosmer.

In any case, the mechanism wouldnt be different so much.
The root swallows you and transports you while slowly digesting your outer layers and popping you up where you wanted to go.

It was described in one of Oblivion's books, actually, along with several specific Argonian tribes. It was called "The Argonian Account." A pretty good read, actually.

Yeah, they're called "Rootworms". But since most of Argonia is swampland, Argonians could always just swim or go by canoe. No need for any sort of mount.
