Of all the armor sets I prefer the blades armor set looks best in my opinion and also it shockingly one of the best sets in the game (nearly the same as dragonplate)

I like Ebony. It reminds me of Dark Souls and Demon's Souls. Really classic looking.

I don't give a crap if it's got less AC than Daedric; it looks way better on my Neutral Good Nord.

Although, Ebony looks like Dark Paladin Cecil from Final Fantasy 2/4.

Dragon looks pretty slick! I am wearing the bones of my fallen enemies. Also, it looks awesome with my bear headdress on. Im thinking of doing a Shaman next with this set up.

Same, I love the Blade's armor, I nearly had a heart attack when I opened the chest and saw it before me

I also really like the look of the heavy Imperial steel armor, not the best armor rating compared to the Blade's armor but I still like it.

Dragon Plate armor looks extremely disappointing compared to Dragon Scale.

But I'd say Ebony is my favorite.

Maybe it's even more "skirt-ish"...lol, but it seems more ancient times-like. And I've always loved the "I'm so badass that I don't even need a full suit of steel to kick your back" attitude

This is my favorite outfit...

Head: Silver and Sapphire Circlet
Chest: Ebony Mail ("artifact" version)
Hands: Ebony Gauntlets
Feet: Ebony Boots

I am very surprised with outfits in this game.

Armor in Oblivion was not very impressive in terms of aesthetics, so I was expecting something similar. I was wrong to do so.

On my female character, all fur armor(superior), and I mean the one with the sleeves, it's bloody freezing in skyrim, these metal armors would be killers, next up is glass armor, would not be as warm as fur but certainly warmer than metals, working towards it at the moment.

Not at all! my wood elf archer (female) wears Forsworn body, boots, and gloves, and a copper onyx head band! i ditched armor (which i dont need since it is a sneak archer anyways) to look sixy :happy:

Yeah ! I like the Fur Armor alot, but it makes my character looks a little fat, you know ? Then i don't like it.. BUT is much more badass to kill someone with just Fur Armor then with a Daedric/Ebony/Dragon armor... Without mention that those Daedric/Ebony/Dragon etc Armors, IMO, looks Horrible... I know it is a fantasy game, but i prefer much more the old-fashioned Iron/Fur armos than those Fancy and powerfull Armors..

I agree with this, it is the best looking, shame I don't like heavy armor, nearly all my characters are based around speed and stealth.
