Sorry but English is not my native language and it seemed to understand that he said armours are now one big blob made of greaves shoulders and chest alltogehter ant the only mix match possible is armour + boots and helmet is that right or he is just generalizing ? I undeerstood wrong?

EDIT: I assumed when it was said there were 3 major guilds you could still join others. It sounds like there are ONLY 3 guilds. Please tell me this isn't true.

Good to have confirmation, the 'you have to craft armor pieces together that's why there was no separate greaves and cuirass in the video' speculation was ridiculous.

But why?...im really disappointed with this design choice

If this is like so this is the biggest disappointment EVER in the ELDER SCROLLS series .... I am really pissed at the decision of merging the stuff into one single blob ..... And I blame all to the XBOX simplification process that is starting to piss me out really , all the best games have been nerfed and destroyed by the XBOX porting .... don't get me worng I like xbox and I play its games but the best PC games have been ruyined when porting to the consolle , so now SKYRIM too adds to the list after others as Dragonage and Crysis ... I am actually now reconsidering buying the game at first release and just probably will buy it next year for pc after hords of mods have been released .... I will wait till end to see what people say bout the game b4 buying tough ....

I wouldn't blame consoles for this. Consoles can handle separate armour pieces. This is just a poor design choice, meant to allow people to "get into the game quicker".

yes he said that the players will be able to mix and match Helmets, Gauntlets, boots with armours but it was a rushed answer and he may just have missed out greaves in the comment.

So the armour slots may just be the same as Oblivion, he did not say for definate that Greaves and Cauriass' are now one slot.

I for one hope not, as the mix and match elements of the armour from Morrowind was one of the highlights for me.

To me it sort of sounded like there will be some armour sets and there will still be individual Greaves and stuff. That's probably just the way I interpreted his voice though.

Ya see! My rediculous speculation about smithing is spot on damn it. Or at least close. There's a reason why there are different armor types that look way to similar to be coincidence.

I dunno why but I can stand all the other nerfing of the game , but reducing armour slots and stuff in fallout really annoyed me ....
