When i first saw the trailer of this game, i was kinda bias (obsessed with CoD and Halo), but i have seriously seen the light! it started with me thinking of what i wanted in a game. then when mirrors edge came out i thought it was kinda funny, BFBC2 kept me interested for a while, but then i looked into this game and thought OMG the've FINALLY done it! Brink gives everyone what they want, and they are tweaking it for months so that it's actually balenced (see Crysis 2 for an example of how NOT to do this.)

When I saw this game I thought it was really neat looking , after playing, CoD Black Ops, I realize one thing about it and that is its so outstandingly great for me the fast paced combat, the parkour and the total customization is just fantastic, really lookin' forward to this game I'm probably be a light agent guy good looking as I am.

I've been playing Enemy Territory : Quake Wars for years (feels like years) after work with one of my friends. I love the gameplay and the overall quality of the game. Splash Damage & Bethesda Softworks really did an awesome job with the game.

I haven't enjoyed any online FPS as much as ETQW (I'm thinking specifically of Crysis, Call of Duty : Modern Warfare, Call of Duty : World at War).

Brink looks like the next generation version of ETQW, and I'm very much looking forward to the release -- I preordered from newegg months ago.

This game is breaking ground in 4 new areas as I see it, kit customization, actual character customization (something I've been waiting for forever!), SMART system, non-linear objective system.
Plus, the graphics are great/unique, and so is the background story of the game. All in all, this game is pushing forward in several areas of which I believe the FPS genre is progression towards. GJ, Brink as some quality game developers.

SMART because I haven't seen such freedom of movement in a FPS and I am always for something new that works well.

Mr. Wedgwood is a saint for finally making a game -an fps no less- where you aren't going to get stuck on a table because you can't climb over or under it and you can't go too the second floor because the stairs are a little beat up. :mohawk:

Unless you're heavy and cannot slide under that table.......and you're too heavy to climb to that ledge just above you're head.......etc

Heavies aren't that bad, if its something tall enough for you to not be able to get over it, its not like you would accidentally run into it, its visible.

>_> "Waist high objects" I can vault those in real life. I love their power and health, but they have that because they're easy to shoot and slow.

You aren't as wide as you are tall though.

P.S. With smart, you can also add jumping height to climb things that are a bit taller.

Teamwork, Customization, and simple things like no OHK and no spawncamping for gameplay on top of the Objective based battles.

1. i like customization and variety being able to play how i want to play that day and trying something different the next day.

2. i like how the devs are going to reward team work and completing different objectives and not just killing.

3. i love FPS games, but don't want to play as US military all the time.

4. i like the idea of there being a resource struggle between 2 sides who think they are the good guys.

5. i always wanted something like the smart movement system.

ive been keeping up with it and it loooks pretty awesome to me. One of the things i like is that you dont have to do the main objective in the mission. Just cant wait till it comes out :celebration:

I'm a big Fallout fan, so I was already on these forums for Fallout, then I saw another forum pop up for Brink and I gave it a look. Since then I've been hooked.

Appart from the visuals which are striking and first catched my attention, it really boils down to the amount of work that was put into maximizing teamplay.
