I know how to use the special melee moves. I have used it with my combat knife. But, I can't seem to find anything, anywhere, in the game or online, that explains what benefit these moves actually grant? Is it just extra damage? Posts online seem to suggest that it goes beyond that. But, if so, I have yet to see evidence of it. What, exactly, do the special moves actually do, besides looking different that is... specifically, what does the move do when using the combat knife?
