With joy, you get the game for your respective systems, load it up, and start a new game. And, just as the community wanted, http://i681.photobucket.com/albums/vv175/Proditus/Unnecessary.jpg. Now everyone gets their way.
And now, just wait 15 years for it to be bug free.
This is just to prove a point that there are things called "unrealistic expectations". A part of this fact is that you can't have everything your way. And sure, perhaps you can get cancer and make a last request to Bethesda to add your favorite feature into the game, but thousands of other players aren't happy with your suggestion and they don't get theirs either. Unrealistic expectations take a good game and make it bad with no effort on the part of the developers. For one moment, I ask that people cease to be pessimistic. On these boards, everyone seems so angry with the small amount of information we have. Quite frankly, before the VGA ceremony and unveiling of the game, people desperately wanted the next Elder Scrolls game. Damn the content, we said. As long as it said Elder Scrolls V, we were satisfied, right? I think the community from 3 months ago would be disappointed if they saw us now.
Now, next time I see someone make a comment of "It should be a toggleable option", "I refuse to play if this isn't in the game", or "Without this feature, you're just appealing to the casuals" please try to comprehend, for just a second, how valued your demands are compared to everyone else. And for a second second (huh, I see wut I did thur), think about how much information you actually know and reasons why you shouldn't base decisions on assumptions. My last request is that you go easier on flame debates, including in this thread if you are so tempted to retort. I simply want people to think before their expectations overwhelm their better judgment.
