What book are you reading?

I just recently finished reading Bedtime Story by Robert J. Wiersema and I'm currently about halfway through Wizards First Rule by Terry Goodkind. I have books 2 & 3 of the Sword of Truth series which I plan on reading too.

Riemannian Geometry by Do Carmo, that is of course when I am not driving myself up a wall trying to understand tensors.

I just started The Reality Dysfunction of Peter Hamilton's The Night's Dawn trilogy. Seeing as in the actually rather short time I started reading, I'm on page 24/1094, it might take me a while, especially so to complete the whole trilogy as book two is ~1060 pages and book three is ~1330 pages.

It seems rather interesting so far, though, right up my alley of genre.

Just ordered Helmet For My Pillow and With the Old Breed by Robert Leckie and Eugene Sledge respectively, so I'll be reading those soon. Haven't had a decent book to read in months now.

Just finished The Necromancer Chronicals book one. Was long, boring and blah. Don't care to read the other two...

Am now making my way through my free Kindle books - reading Soul.....something?

First chapter of Les Misérables (original french version). I'm into classics now, so it's the best time to start this pile of paper (well, ebook virtual pile of paper anyway :whistling: ). I also just finished Hitch Hicker's Guide trilogy in five books... huh, yeah.

I'm currently reading The Difference Engine by William Gibson and Bruce Sterling. So far it's very interesting. It's definitely satisfying my love for the steampunk genre. :P

I like his cyberpunk stuff like the Sprawl Trilogy. I didn't know he did steampunk, I'll have to check it out.

I used to buy so many books, but haven't bought many in the past decade. I guess computers took over my brain. The last ones I bought were John Scalzi's "Old Man's War" series, which was awesome. Scalzi, the man himself, is also awesome.

The two books I always have by my bedside are the The Complete Novels and Stories of Sherlock Holmes, Vol-1 and Vol-2. They're great for reading one or two in a quick read, if I'm having trouble sleeping, and to me Holmes stories never get old. :)

I am currently in the middle of a bunch of books but they are more research than recreational. I am reading through Pro WPF using C# by Apress books (publisher I do not know exact author), Pro C# and the .NET PLatform (another Apress book), Windows 7 Admin Pocket Consultant, and Security+ exam books. Trying to get ahead for my degree here at college and then build a second skillset. So far going good though I have put off alot of the reading since I have returned to school which is disappointing but I plan to change this soon.

If it's anything like Slaughterhouse 5 it'll be great. It's the only thing I've read by him but I was blown away

I'm reading 'A Game of Thrones' by George R.R. Martin. It's far better than I expected it to be.

I started that but never remembered to finish it. Seemed pretty good though. The Sirens of Titan is an amazing book though. Mad plot, but it's stuck with me since just for the genius of it.

A Clash of Kings
Far better than A Game of Thrones imo, but without the first one laying out the possiblities, its followups won't be as good.

Mogworld.

It started off entertaining. I'm about halfway through give or take 20 or so pages and it's a bit boring at this point, getting worse by the page. Not sure why to be honest.

Halo: Cryptum. This book messes with your mind, especially if you've kept up with the series.
