Pretty sure it's been stated that shouts are on the "Y" button, but I could be wrong.

Dragon Shouts being on the right bumper button was probably one of the first confirmed facts about this game... Im rather surprised people still need to ask which button it is mapped to.

I'm a PC player but from a thread about where moving items will be mapped and if it was still in(Is, hold down A) it was stated one of the sticks being pushed down in 3rd person 1st person switch. Atleast for the 360 controller which I'm familiar with as I use it with my PC sometimes.

Hasn't it been confirmed that Y is still jump?

Actually, Shouts and Powers are on the Right Stick. That's why 'Grabbing Objects' has been reset to 'hold A'.

Go into options and map them yourself? Yes you can do this on Xbox aswell, atleast you could in Oblivion

Right stick is to switch between first and third person. Right bumper is for shouts/powers. Left bumper is sprint and left stick is to sneak. Y is jump, X sheathe/unsheathe, B brings up the four way inventory compass.

I don't know why...but for 3 words in each shout...I want to have to input a button combination.

All this is correct. Also, shouts are Right Bumper. Also also, Y is, as always, for Jump because when you jump, you go "YYYYYAYY!" It's unassailable logic.

I hope controls are still completely customisable. I have a few preferences, and removing that ability would really hurt the game. I'd get used to a predefined layout eventually, but I'd rather put things where I want (Jump on L1, Dragon Shout on R1, Sneak on R3, Switch view on Select, etc).

They will be. Map your Jump to Start and WASD to ESDF and your attack to Scroll Lock if you really want. It won't hurt my feelings.

Do those translate directly into their PlayStation equivalents? There was an article back some time ago that claimed dragon shouts were for the R3 button... but the R3 button is nothing like the 360's right bumper. Did they mean to say R2 or R1 or did you guys change things a bit since then, or something?

Actually, on PS3, it'll be R2. Sony likes to have their trigger / bumper functionality inverted just to make my life harder. :P

woohoo!! if going by the PS3/360 versions of Oblivion, we could completely customise all controls which was fantastic so if Skyrim is gonna be the same then i am super happy :D
more and more games should have this option!
