What to buy?

Post » Fri Jan 09, 2009 6:20 am

I have so many caps I honestly don't know what to do with them, I just hit the jackpot on slots at the Atomic Wrangler, and I had bet 200 chips so I got 33000 caps, and I had 18000 on me before that, so I currently have 51000 on me, and still have all 37 bars of gold I haven't sold.... What do I do?

Buy MASS amounts of supplies, and go on a homicidal rampage against your enemies,

Or,

Use it to RP, I do it, but usually I go self indulge or fully rank anything costing money

Beer, ladies (or men), Jet. Even though you'll be in a completley different state bleeding next to a crashed car, it'll be a night you'll never forget.

I always wondered if I could be a millionaire in FO3, but managed to get nowhere close. Although weapons & ammos are more expensive in NV, by the same reason it is actually a lot easier to generate more caps in NV than it is in FO3, I currently have around 130,000 and building without even gambling. Gee I wish there was a safe like in Tranpenny Tower PC home to dump my caps into.

There really isnt a whole lot to buy with your caps in NV. Basically i spend my caps on:

- All the implants i can get
- Repairing armour
- buying ammo (usually clean out what the gun runners have in regard to the type of ammo i need)
- Parts for making weapon repair kits (Duct tape, scrap electronics, scrap metal, wonderglue, wrenches)
- mint condition weapons when needed
- stimpacks, doctors bags, chems

Theres really no need to rely on finding stuff to get you through the game, since theres not much to buy. You might as well buy supplies right from the vendors.
