What can we expect from future updates?

Post » Tue Apr 16, 2013 5:31 pm

It seems so unfitting to let this wonderful game go without a big bang. This game was way more popular than any of bethesdas previous titles, even more so than fallout 3.

It just seems like a huge injustice to let this game go on a whimper, even so not announcing that dragonborn was the last dlc, leading most people to speculate on future content.

That being said, the blog did read that there will be updates for skyrim. Yet, what can we expect from these updates? Will they be general bug fixes/stability improvements or will they add new features/content? For example, 1.9 made it possible to smith light imperial armor, would it be possible to add new weapons/clothing?

Or will it add a new feature no one saw coming?

In all fairness, I read that 'updates' comment as simply being media spin...a little white lie so that the industry and fanbase doesn't have to face an absolute dropoff.

I'm in the camp that the PS3 limitations may have impacted on a planned release of a new DLC (and I play on PS3) ...

So perhaps with these minor updates, some small features that had been developed for new DLC might make it in? Just small things like new weapons or something.

I was hoping for a hardcoe Mode.

Off topic, did you guys hear about the two bombing in Boston? They are being called terrorist attacks.

It is rather nostalgic when you favourite game slightly moves away from the spotlight.

There's a topic in Community Discussion.

On topic, I think that may be any patches they are currently working on. Or hopefully some minor DLC like the Castle for Oblivion.

Minor DLC? Please?

At least add spell making and make magic better in a patch or something.

*Sigh*.. I wanted more quests though.

Is the Gildergreen in Whiterun still bugged? There's one for the next update. I chose the more "evil" way so the tree wouldn't look like crap.
