What can I do to improve the fps?

Post » Sun Jul 03, 2011 12:42 am

I have an old laptop (yeah laugh at me) with only an ATI Radeon 3670 (Yeah laugh at me again).

Before the 1.9 patch I could play with everything as low as possible and the game screen at 1024x600.

Is there anything I can do to improve my fps or am I stuck? I don't want to have to lower the resolution as it's already half the size of my whole screen.

I think you might be stuck... I don't know why 1.9 reduced the frame rate for low settings anyway

You can do almost nothing, wait for new patches, drivers.

You could try out my LowGraph script here: http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=34056 Let me know if you could gain some frames.

Oh wow. I played one game and had no problem with fps. From what I could tell it really helped. I'll post back if I actually have any drops in the future. Thanks a bunch.
