I've always wondered.

I may be mistaken, but I coulda sworn I did this to a death claw in dead wind. with some type of mine, satchel charge I think.

You guys have seen this too right? Explosives don't get crits, well, crit dam. You still get that irritating fake crit message on your screen. Knock downs don't seem to coincide with the fake crits anyway.

So anyone know?

When you cripple a limb.

Any limb? I feel like I crippled a lot of enemies with explosives and they don't fall down.
