If by force, you mean literally everything while still maintaining that you are an individual, then sure.

CHIM is Zero-Summing except retaining your identity - your sense of self.

In other words you see http://www.imperial-library.info/content/tower but somehow manage to retain the sense of I AM.

If you wish to learn more I'd recommend http://www.imperial-library.info/content/more-psijic-endeavor

Yes, I'm a Vivec really devoted fan but these texts have great insight into a topic that's not nearly as complicated or obscure as it may initially seem.

Chim is exactly like becoming one with the Force. You can still manifest yourself as a Force Ghost, but you are part of something bigger as well, you know?

I don't think CHIM is like being one with bacteria (midochlorians). With CHIM you are everything, everything is you, but if you do not retain your individuality you'll no longer exist. Essentially, you're the Godhead.

Does Sheogorath, then, have mastery over CHIM?

Pro-sith tip, being one with the force is poppycock. You get stuck in the friggin afterlife, and if you were a goody-boy you're stuck in the most boring place ever, and if you were a righteously evil bastard you end up arbitrarily consigned to hell/chaos. The problem with the whole force ghost thing is that you still end up being trapped in the afterlife (obi-wan for example). That's why the sith try to do things like possessing people after death, the Afterlife svcks. Listen to hellmouth master thief, CHIM is so much more than the netherworld of the force. Hell, being "one with the force" is more like going into the dreamsleeve without the recycling part.

No.

@Verlox:
if

then
apotheosis = peanut butter. :blush:

My thoughts exactly. I like making points by asking questions. I forget sometimes that it's easy to take such questions seriously through text.

Though I'm more inclined to say apotheosis = lettuce.

Ah, I see now.

And its all apples and orangutans at this point. Any word used to describe CHIM can be argued for or against, the point is moot.

Next topic?

edit: p.s. I can't help but think of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zlViU5PBPY when reading the heading of this topic.

Zero-summing is basically the TES equivalent of losing The Game.

How can anyone know if it's lousy if they're all trapped there?

Various ways.

1. Chaos get's a mention in some of the comics after the battle of Endor, with some of palpatine's cronies fearing that the Emperor had finally failed to put his soul into one of his clone bodies.

2. Some guys got trained by Yoda in the netherworld of the force.

3. several other references and explanations in the various star wars publications.

CHIM is beyond the comprehension or abilities of the Daedric Princes. If they were able to reach it they probably wouldn't want it. It's alien to them.

Yep. Again: my thoughts exactly.

I get a bit giggly when I think of Sanguine attempting it. He'd probably have a touch too much greenmote at a party and think he'd achieved it.

They're also just part of the system. It's like asking if the wallpaper can achieve chim.

And to be fair, if the Cyrodiilics are to be believed, they technically qualify as "a whole world of you" already...
