I bought the Imperial Edition of ESO, and I'm a bit simple minded and bull headed.

As such I must have at least one Imperial character in order to assuage myself that I'm getting my monies worth.

Mains Templar, so not that, I was thinking a night blade tank? But I've not looked at theory crafting for how the classes are currently panning out.

I'm not a huge min-maxer btw, I just want this character to be competitive/decent so that it gets some play, so I get my monies worth

Heavy Armour Sword+Shield tank Dragonknight.

Cant find dk heal (( or another class that heals..

I think Imperial would be good for Templar as well as Dragonknight.

Sword and shield was better in Skyrim than 2h weapons, but only after investing points in to the shield.

2H better than sword + shield for the earlier part of the game.

Sword + shield better than 2h for the latter part.

Plus sword and shield was more fun.

Although I couldn't say if that's the same in ESO though,

Wasn't in the poll because the op already has one (or at least will have as a main character)

Its good for NB or DK melee or all tanks IMO

They seem to be suited to tanking/dps with heavy armor. though its your choice.
