What classes they should add in the future updates?

Post » Fri Feb 14, 2014 1:25 pm

Just a piece of curiosity, what classes you would like to see in the future updates after the release?
I'm not saying that we don't have classes trees enough. We do have a lot of choices, but they probably going to extend this options later, so what you would like to see??

They all feel a little too D&D for me. Don't get me wrong, I love me some D&D, but not in this game. ESO has a different flavour in my opinion.

Hello. Warden?

They'd have to be at least half done anyway.

I see Bard as the most viable option given here. I was never a lore guy, got the attention span of a gold fish. But it doesnt seem odd to me at all, as some bards in skyrim drove me crazy at times with their stuid song.

Indeed, D&D is the reference for the most of rpgs. I didn't really played much of the TES games, soo...I did used it as reference.

None. More skill lines or maybe weapon combinations - there can very well be a difference between a 2h hammer and a 2h sword. Or spears ;)

Some of the choices in the poll are already attainable in the game. The only real choices are Bard and Monk...if we don't count... "Wander" (:D) whatever that is - probably some glorified bum.

Bards are the way to go. It's easy enough to come up with unique gameplay mechanics for them that make sense, and they fit very nicely in the setting with the insane amount of books and whatnot. Skyrim even gave them their own guild (which I guess I could see happening here as well, after the thieves and assassins are done).

Adding classes means adding more skill lines that are locked out from other classes. Adding skill lines mean that the classes are not locked out of them simply because of the class choice.

Doesn't seem likely. Graphically they were nature themed. I've not seen any sign of nature themed abilities anywhere else.

Even if other professions or skill lines got some of their old abilities with new graphics, it's not like there isn't already duplication between them. So a little more wouldn't break the game.

And it's just data and code. What was could be again with a bit of cut and paste.

Is a "Wander" like a Ninja? If so that is my vote.

This. Adding classes doesn't really make much sense IMO when the idea is for class to be open. So adding more skill lines makes more sense.

Well mages are sort of there.

There's the sorcerer profession - very magey - and besides that the Mages Guild which everyone can join. Magery abounds.

While there's no actual necromancer profession, nightblades get a range dark magic abilities (including health siphons, fears, summoning shades) which are a bit necromantic and besides that there is the Undaunted Guild which everyone can join. They have also have several necromantic sounding abilities.

And before anything els, i would much rather see some more morph options after you pick one. 2 more should do so much.

Wander suppose to be one of the classes after the release, but they pulled it back and stayed with 4 classes only. It's a kind of piligrim. It would be healer or necromancer, I believe.

While I would still like to see Wardens return, in general I'd say yes to more skill lines before professions for the same reason.
