So I played "Fallout 3" when it came out and it didn't really enthrall me.

I have a vague memory of one quest kind of tripping up the other as far as the story goes.

Following Your Father's Footsteps gets you to 3 dog and the Brotherhood of Steel.

Wasteland Survival Guide gets you to Rivet City.

Storywise which one am I better off completing first?

- Discovering the history of Rivet City (and bumping into the doctor who knew my dad)?

- Or following in my father's footsteps which I believe takes me to Rivet City but can't remember.
