What Console?

Xbox first, because then I can't cheat. Then once I've exhausted that go mad and cheat on my new PC. Also, if you want to save money make the PC yourself. It's really not hard and saves hundreds of pounds.

Hopefully, I'll be playing it on PC, but it depends on the minimum requirements.

(Since my "PC" is an aging iMac, so I can't replace the graphics card. As it is, it's a 2.66 Core 2 Duo / 4GB ram / ATI HD2600XT-256mb. Need to replace it, but there's expenses, and wanting to see what the next gen looks like.....)

Planning on building a new PC. I'm sure by the time I build it around November there will be better parts out for the same ~$1200-1500 budget, but if I were to build right now I would get something like this:

- i5 2500k, oc with an aftermarket cooler like the hyper 212+
- 8gb ddr3 1600, not sure what brand but I usually go with crucial or gskill
- gtx 560 ti, probably the msi twin frozr one, later I'd add a second one
- samsung f4 2tb hdd, later I'd also get a sata iii ssd
- msi or asus mobo
- a nice modular psu like the corsair 850hx
- a big full tower case with good wire management like the 800d, haf x, or phantom

Gotta get them custom made, Saves money & gives you better parts

I recently got one (PC though), roughly 1400 being built for me now.... and thats in aussie dollers :P

I shall fetch specs!

Intel Core i7 2600k - 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo), Quad Core with HyperThreading, unlocked multiplier, Intel HD3000 Graphics at 850MHz (1350MHz Turbo), 8MB L3 Cache

Gainward GeForce GTS 450 1GB Goes Like Hell Edition x2 - 930MHz core clock, 4000MHz memory clock (effective). Outputs: 2 x DVI, VGA, HDMI. The GTS 450 features 192 CUDA cores, a high speed GDDR5 memory interface with 1024MB onboard and full DirectX 11 support

Gigabyte GA-H67A-UD3H-B3 Socket 1155 Motherboard - Intel H67 Chipset, 4x DDR3, SATA3, SATA2, USB3.0, Firewire, HD Audio, Crossfire, ATX form factor

Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB ST2000DL003, SATA III 6.0Gb/s, 3.5", 5900RPM, 64MB Cache x1

Seagate Barracuda 1TB ST31000524AS x2 (Already have one now)

Corsair CMX8GX3M4A1600C9 8GB (4x XMS3 2GB) PC-12800 (1600MHz) XMS DDR3 Dual Channel RAM, 4x240-pin DIMMs, Non ECC Unbuffered, 9-9-9-24, XMS Heat Spreader, 1.65V

Running windows 7 Home premium

Sounds good but I'm not enough of a hardware nerd to have the sort of knowledge required in making an informed decision about custom parts.

I will play Skyrim on my PC.

Intel i7 920@3.2Ghz (watercooled)
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R (rev.2)
3x2Gb 1600Mhz DDR3.
ATi Radeon 4890 2Gb.
1Tb, 500Gb and 320Gb Seagate Barracudas + one external 250Gb Lacie.
AuzenTech X-Fi Prelude 7.1 Soundcard.
19" EiZO LCD & 42" Phillips 42PFL9603H10 Full-HD screen.
Win7 Pro 64bit.

GPU is getting a bit old, it could use another 3x2Gb sticks of RAM and a new SSD harddrive. Otherwise I'm all set for Skyrim.

PC for sure, I have a hard time imagining TES on a console. I'm on a laptop right now that will certainly run Skyrim, but my hope is to save enough in the next year or so to be able to build a sick gaming desktop that'll run Skyrim and other future games like a pro.

just make sure to remember to install all games on the 1TB drives you have. that 2TB if it really is 5900RPM would not be suited to background loading and may cause reduced performance. also make sure your pc as a whole is not set to put virtual memory and temp files on that 2TB drive as the same issues would occur and make it generally slower overall.

I'd love to get it on PC, there's just nothing that can compare with the playability of the PC versions of The Elder Scrolls games. And though I don't really get into super-hardcoe mods, I sometimes like to mod my own "Patches" to fix balances issues and things.(For example, making Medium Armor useful in Morrowind)

That said, a PC to run it will enough to match the Xbawks360 is probably out of my price range, unless I liquidate my aging MMO character. As tempting as it is, I'd rather not.

so Ecksbawks Tree-sicksee it is.

PC, I have an Xbox but I never use it. I think the only game I ever really spent much time playing on the Xbox was prototype. Oh, and Assassin's Creed 2. Some games are nice to use a controller for, but I prefer PC over anything else.

Specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4GHz
RAM: 4GB DDR3
ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB

See my sig for specs, but my laptop will probably handle it.

I hope.

if not, it's new PC time. I will never, ever EVER buy an ES game for other consoles. can't stand controllers unless it's for driving, flying, fighting games (Soul calibur, Tekken) or sports games.
