So what crazy name did you use for your skyrim characters?

Post » Fri Feb 21, 2014 3:28 pm

I am wondering what are some of the names everyone used for their character in skyrim. I called my first nord King BrackleNacks. I called my first dark elf Meluno-tel soup. I called my first high elf Rebba the eighth (Was girl character). The other 7 were throughout morrowind-oblivion. My fisrt wood elf name was smaller then a tree. My first argonian was Ral-0. My first khajiit was called Marbrabe. My first breton name was: Malice Darvin. My first imperial name was: Destroy the empire. My first redguard name was Mackerio Nag Gun. My First orc name was Sharp teeth. I want to know some of the crazy names you named your first skyrim characters.

I always try to give my characters lore-friendly names. I guess I'm kinda boring like that. :P

My half Nord, half Reguard (technically a Redgurad, but RP purposes and all) was named Half Breed. It was an insult given to him as a child, and just kind of stuck...along with an intense hatred of all Nords.

MY Argonian thief: Chokes His Chicken. He was a chicken farmer prior to turning to crime as a means of earning a living. Choking his chicken was his preferred method of slaughtering them.

MY Wood Elf: Grimble Gromble :hehe:. If you can't figure this one out...Look at my sig and you'll find the RP, almost to the letter.

My Breton: Slightly less crazy, but still a bit off. Silas Lang, another name from the mind of Syd Barrett and one of his tunes.

If I was to make an Argonian, I would name it Praises-the-Sun. But I hate the Dawnguard and I only played as vampires, so...

I generally try to use lore-friendly or at least friendly-ish names (because I won't pretend to be some great TES lore buff, but I like the names to at least sound about right.)

However, my first proper character was a female Dunmer named ... Horace. I kind of panicked on the naming screen, ok?

No really crazy names:

Imperial vampire assassin, Dalhia Mordant

Nord witch, Rayn Storm

Khajiit assassin, Sha'Do

I usually try and keep the name's at least half way lore friendly....usually.

I stick with Assyrian names, as most of my characters are Dunmer. The first was Yazkur Assur-Ban, the one after that was Ilath-Pileser, the one after that was This'll Please-her, and the one after that was Screw It, It's Only Valentines.

Did he assassinate members of the clergy by bashing the...

...nevermind :whistling:

Being that most of my characters are Nords, I stick with Norwegian/Gothic type names.

The only one I've done is Herp gro-Derp for an orc.

But when I'm being serious I make names using the UESP.

That's just childish.

Personally, I always make sure to use lore based names.

We can do what we want with our own characters. I don't care if my characters names are stupid.

I use lore friendly names too.

If that makes you feel better, the Imperial vampire I'm playing as is named Carmilla.

...Camilla was already taken. Damn NPCs.
