What Creatures Would You Like In SKYRIM

Post » Fri Feb 18, 2011 9:11 pm

I would like to see the rare and elusive 'strippers', but I will probably have to mod that in due to their near-extinct status in TES. I would think them Nords would have tons of taverns with dancing ladies, but it probably will not happen.

Skaven type creatures, but not as advanced. More on a goblin sort of level.

Kinda wondering if a creature like this could fit in with TES... (Minus the jacket, jeans, and shoes of course...)
Basically humanoid, long arms, shadowy appearance, and sneaky
Likes dark areas and can usually be seen by glowing red eyes
Can morph bones into claws and swords (like a necromorphs arm)
Stronger ones able to rip bones out of their bodies (which are quickly replaced) to make makeshift weapons like bows, clubs, and claymores...

If its a stupid idea, don't hate me...

Basking sharks to the sea on the north. Just so we can treat ourselves with some finger licking good hákarl.

Creatures that aren't dedicated murder the player or die in the process for no reason, then walk away. I want monsters to attack me for a reason, and not just me.

A proper unincorn with a rainbow coming from its anus like in Red Dead Redemption. Oh and that one had butterflies around it too.

Speaking of butterflies, it would be great if you could catch them and display them. A collection quest that is less boring than the Nirnroot one.

Viscous man eating bureaucrats that I could cleave in two!! Another Fargoth. Man that thing was scary!!

Heh, but seriously I'd like to see creatures that are reminiscent of prehistoric mammals that existed here on earth, like woolly rhino, megaloceros, smiladon, etc. Large cave bears, and the like. The troll in the screen shot looks very fitting.

I've said this in another thread, but I'd love Highland Cows to be in the game. I would not want one of these charging me:

Possible, mer age diffrently than man.
I think one of the Dunmer I read about is around 4000 years old..might be more than just mer keeping him alive though.

Divayth Fyr - according to Alfe Fyr he is 4000 years old.[2]

Hopefully, There are giants.
Bigfoot would be awesome.
Manbearpig too.
Maybe Udyrfrykte could make a return?
Maybe Beth could add some Wild Wasteland-like perk so you can encounter really weird things, like a Bigfoot.

In another post I created a new form of Cliff Racer and figured it would go better here, so I'm re-writing it:

Cliff Racers already look like Stingrays. Just move their eyes to the underside and rename them Sting Racers and place them in the watery areas of Skyrim (deep lakes and such). Change their voice to add in even more of a gurgling sound than before, but keep it generally the same (maybe a few octaves lower due to immersion in water), and then make them glow in the dark to make them a bit otherwordly, and fill the deep parts of the ocean with them. Perhaps they move a little faster, and have--in addition to their barbed tail, some magic shooting out of their eyes or something, if you want to make them scarier. You shouldn't see them in shallow streams because they live on the bottom or near the bottom, of deeper areas.

Would help to create the feeling of legacy between the games.

Wolverine, but not if there easy to kill. They should be harder than boars and wolves(unless we are talking about the dire variety) , and more challenging than a bear.

edit:
Dinohyus
Short snout Bear
Dire wolves

YES! I actually REALLY hope there's an incredibly illusive bigfoot-like creature that roams the land. It would be kinda like the unicorn in Oblivion, but it would walk almost everywhere in Skyrim at random, so you would have to be incredibly lucky to see him. Also, he's neutral and flees when you get too close, but you can speak to him if you perform a certain action :)

Udig?

Also, I can't wait to see the mammoths and sabretoothes.

LOVE this

also, i would like see more sensible ecosystems. it does ruin the realism a bit when you see dear run away from you, but happily stand next to a wolf. also is annoyed me slightly in oblivion where wolves and bears almost outnumbered dear and things, but maybe that's just me, i have a bit of an OCD for things like that.
