What daedric realm in Skyrim do you want to visit?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 12:26 pm

So even if no daedric realms are featured in skyrim,They might add a few in skyrim DLC im personally hoping to see Azura's MoonShadow and Hircines huting planes.

Azura's definitely, mainly because he/she is my favorite Daedric prince.

DEFINITELY Azura, but have it overrun by the corrupt undead souless forces of Hermaes Mora, and you eventually battle him in his own realm :) he could be a towering mass of tentacles and the battle could be pretty unique.

Unique as in censored-NC-17 baby...xD

Really, i love that idea though. I was leaning on "no more Daedric realms" but then i saw you're idea and it just sounds awesome!

Haha yeah, and he's mysterious too. I had this idea, from some of the lore I read up on him. Since he hungers for all knowledge he could capture people, and steal their brains along with their knowledge and memories, and then used his gargantuan mass to physically manipulate them into these crazy beings that work for him, like the Necromorphs from Dead Space. That's just sorta how I've always interpreted him for some reason xD mostly cause of his appearance and a hunger for knowledge.

"Other". I always play as an Orsimer, so I'd like to see Malacath's realm. I haven't done any research on it yet, but I know I'd still like to.

OK, done some research now. Sound pretty awesome. Apparantly everything is made from Ash and Smoke, with a literal backbone as the backbone to the realm. It could provide for some very interesting enemies (as they're mostly vapour based), and some very unique architecture (laugh as smoke fortresses. The only downside is that magical breathing and levitation are supposedly needed to survive. Don't think we'll see it in Skyrim then. :(

Isn't Akatosh good? It's debatable because he might also be Alduin. Also, Daedric gods don't have morals :P as in, they don't see good and evil, just what must be done.

Speaking of Hermaeus Mora, I think this excerpt from "Varieties of Faith" would be of interest to you guys:
"Herma-Mora (The Woodland Man): Ancient Atmoran demon who, at one time, nearly seduced the Nords into becoming Aldmer. Most Ysgramor myths are about escaping the wiles of old Herma-Mora. Also called the Demon of Knowledge, he is vaguely related to the cult origins of the Morag Tong ('Foresters Guild'), if only by association with his brother/sister, Mephala."

idk but to me that sounds like a purrdy sweet background plot for a DLC.

I'd actually rather like to visit Apocrypha. I must have spent hours reading books in Oblivion/Morrowind because the lore fascinates me, so yeah, Apocrypha.

as much as i love the daedra and their realms, we had more than enough in oblivion and its DLC...

i mean, mehrunes dagon's, boethiah's [even if it was a blatant copy of mehrunes' realm in-game], peryite's realm [same thing, copy of dagon's], some realm mankar camoran created with the help of dagon, the shivering isles, and other strange worlds [a painting, a dream] so... im done with travelling to different worlds for now.

i just wanna face off against dragons for once... and maybe as DLC, they could send us to... uh... atmora, or something.

I'd like to visit Hircine's hunting plane, but very much on the equal I'd also like to visit Jyggalag's realm, if he's already rebuilt one. Hircine is my favourite Daedric Prince, so I'd still want to visit his plane even if it might look sort of like Skyrim. Perhaps we can even become a werewolf there.
