Baa’s date is Sun’s Height 17, 3E440. She doesn’t know about any cap. She’s kind of like the old Timex commercials, she just keeps on ticking.

The date in Buffy’s game is Mid-Year 22 3E435. Couple caveats:

- Time goes by at about one third speed for her since we have the time scale set to 12. So, if we played at default 30, I suppose the date would be closer to 3E438 or even 439.

- This is her second game and has been running for 1225 hours of play time. We had to retire her first game at 1000 hours with some technical considerations.

Us longer term players have discovered that the hours played counter resets to zero at about 1200 of play time, but don't know about the game date counter. Heh, if there's a cap, tmar's Baa will reach it first.

Sun′s Dawn, 3E437.

Like Acadian I play at one third the normal pace and have done so for some time now. Therefore it should be a bit later if I had let it stay at 30.

Is it possible if you play for a long long loooooong time on default time scale can it go onto the 4th Era?

It is my understanding that, technically speaking, as soon as the main quest is finished it is the Fourth Era. I don't think the game acknowledges this, however.

3E433 still. I think I am close to 3E434. Highest I have gotten on any playthrough was 3E435.

Ya, it is canon that the crisis ended in 4E IIRC.

I've never tried to see how far the date can go. Most I've gotten was 3E444, and that was it.

In the game, I suppose if you used consoles/mods, you could make it be 3E1999?

3E433 locked (2006-2013)
Between the time when history drank Alinor and the fall of the son of Uriel into oblivion,
there was an age undreamed of. And unto this, Otheym's Noa, destined to crawl out of

the canolization of Imperial City, so that time stood still in Cyrodiil for seven seeds thrice

- the Season of the Witch.

It is I, her chronicler, who alone can tell thee of her saga, and of the bouncing days of high

adventure.

Sun's Dawn 4, 3E436 Like other responders, time scale is set much lower than default "30", in my case "10". It was one of my first adjustments to the game this play-through, made almost immediately after waking my avatar for the first time.

I don't think the game ever officially acknowledges the change to E4. The mod I consider the "core" or my installation, The Elder Council, when its main quest-line is followed to its ultimate conclusion, sees General Mede crowned Emperor. (Here is a reposting of http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn303/Decrepit_Waste/ESIV%20Oblivion/DawnofanEra.jpg in White-Gold Tower.) Sadly, the mod isn't sophisticated enough to alter the game to recognize this in any significant way. For instance, my avatar still hears comments from citizens concerned with the state of the Empire without an emperor, and hoping the Council will hold things together.

http://i936.photobucket.com/albums/ad208/xenaclone/Image0142.jpg is at Frost Fall 24 (I think) 3rd Era, Year 433. 59 or 60 days have passed since he's left the Tutorial Dungeon. I'm not sure because last I saw him, he was in Bravil's jail. I'm not sure if his sentence was a day or two days.

My other two current games literally just started. I think the Sewer Terror's game (no pic yet) is Last Seed 30 (3 days past). http://i936.photobucket.com/albums/ad208/xenaclone/Image0187_zps91b0ec46.jpg is Last Seed 27, she's still figuring out if she wants to leave the 'comfort' of her jail cell.

http://i936.photobucket.com/albums/ad208/xenaclone/Image0162.jpg is in Valenwood. Date in her game is approximately First Seed 8, 3rd Era Year 434. Somewhere between 190 and 200 days have passed since the Tutorial.

This thread makes for a nice time capsule we can come back to in the future, to see where we all were at this point in time.

Seeing as how the third era ended at 433, my game is at 4E 5.
