What Did Arena Veterans Think When Daggerfall Was Released?

Hello Elder Scrollisians, it's YoungStallion94. This question is inspired by another question (By Nyleken) who asked what Daggerfall vets thought about Morrowind when it was released, so now I am asking what did the Arena vets think of Daggerfall when it was released. I wasn't able to play those two games when they came out since during Arena, I was still in my Mom's womb, and during Daggerfall, I was 2, 3 at the maximum, when that one came out, so I clearly can't have an opinion on the change between these two games.

Internet was still very new and most people had dialup if they did have internet. I did not have internet until 2000.

So I can not really say what people thought at the time. The time was quite a bit different back then for games as well. Daggerfall for the most part was better in all aspects except maybe in bugs and glitches, but then again Daggerfall was ground breaking in so many ways but most notably in the size of the game world. You had thousands of towns and villages and areas to explore. The downside was the limits in the random generator could do with the limited tile sets. I still think Daggerfall is the best Elderscroll Game. The later games did make the game world prettier but the game worlds just feel much less empty and alive.
