what did fallout 4 make you do?

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2015 7:17 pm

I started to paint the whole house so when I spend 700 hours every week playing it I won't get yelled at by the wife. Now when I sit on the couch surrounded by cats and covered in chip crumbs I can say

"but I painted the whole house and Need time to recover from painting injuries"

I'll never paint a house by myself again. F THAT

It made me check reddit and this forum several times a day.

Plus it is summer and there is almost no games nor information about games is coming out this time of year.

Bethesda's radio silence starts to annoy me and i am eagerly waiting to the end of August, there good games will start to come out and it is probably that time we will hear new info about Fallout.

I've been researching computer components so that I can get my computer upgraded by November.

It hasn't really made me do anything.. Just made me antsy to play the game. It might be making me sleep more. (in hopes of making time feel like it's move faster.)

It's got me starting to save up for an X-Box One, the game better be worth the expense of getting a new console.

First thing I did was pre-order the game and buy a new Xbox One 1TB. Then I bought a Sony 49" 4K TV and put it in my basemant. There is nothing hooked up to the TV but my Xbox, no cable, no satellite- just Xbox. Then I went to the upscale used furniture store in town and bought a gaming chair and TV stand. I am all set except for moving my mini fridge to the basemant room and stocking it with plenty of Coke, and a case of Cheetos puffs. Oh, and I better stock up on smokes too.

Bring it on!!

Got myself a SSD equipped monstrosity of a new PC to do battle with Fallout 4 and completely overrun the positions of low framerates and claim it for the glory of blue LEDs.

It's made me want to spend the dividend I get for living in Alaska on upgrading my computer. Maybe spending some of the money I'll be getting for selling my old tool box on that too. I'd like to see how Fallout 4 runs on my current setup first before I commit to anything though. I do have car and student loans to take care of, after all.

So far, nothing. I had a few tight weeks pay wise, but that was it. Now, when it comes out, I expect to get fired for absences.

Yeah I get that too from my family even though my eldest (advlt) daughter ordered the Pip boy edition and all my family are geeks and gamers.

It will (hopefully) motivate me to prepare the house early for the twins my wife and I are expecting by some time in December. She's already holding Fallout 4 hostage to my progress on this front.

I'm just glad the game is coming this year. If it had been next year...poor neglected children. (Just kidding!)

Lol, so you wont get yelled at by the wife? That's not a valid reason to paint a whole house by yourself. Unless she's pregnant or disabled, there's nothing wrong with your wife, rolling up her sleeves and grabbing a paintbrush too.
