What I did to Keerava....

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 12:25 pm

So I am a khajit in the thieves guild.

I needed Keerava to pay the money SHE OWED. So I did it with finesse. I hinted that we would hurt her family. She paid.

THEN...THEN I got a job from Talen-je to find 3 flawless gems. I did. no mention of being PAID to do it, but I think it was implied because he did pay me but with some random potion that was worth not as much as the gems.

now every time I see him, he says "you have nerve coming in here after what you did to Keerva!" [censored]!

would like a mod so that if you don't beat down keerava, and if you DO find them the gems they need to get married, that he says something more appropriate....

what would your line be?

I thought of "Even though you work for the thieves guild, you are not such a bad sort."

Exactly! "Here, have these gems, marsh-brother! I pickpocketed one from a fence and the rest from Mercer Frey! Good luck with your wedding!"

Makes more sense if you, er, threaten to kill her family, but she'll surrender if you get Haelga and Bersi's money first (which I got through brawl and not destruction of treasured property). Haelga and Talen-Jei are upset.

...Bersi is happy to see me.

Also, Talen will flit between a number of greetings because he's technically still your friend.

"Ours is to smile at your passing, friend."

"You have some nerve..."

"Welcome to the Bee and Barb..."

Pre-wedding jitters?

I would just buy back their loyalty if given the option. They have financial troubles, same with the beggars. I have 1.1 million septims, and yet, I can only toss a coin to some poor sap? Why can't I just give them like 100 grand and they'd live like kings. Or allow the Argonian guy and his wife to move wherever they want and stop moaning about Riften.

But no, all day I hear "You rich scum!" and "Boy I could sure use some gold". Of course if I drop stuff in the street for them to pick up, they all butcher each other like wild animals so it's a no-win either way.
