What Did Skyrim Look Like in Ancient Times?

Post » Sat May 11, 2013 6:40 am

Just imagine what skyrim would have looked like when snow elf settlements still existed, the dwemer ruins were not as ruined, and all of the nordic barrows, temples, shrines, and other such destroyed areas were in their full glory.

would be awesome

Modern era nord hate and it's because their intelligence went down so much since the first era when they were pretty awesome. But yea, modern-era nords aren't as intelligent as they were in the first era, it's obvious since the first era nords built huge landmarks, castles and burrows.

Magic wasn't considered an embarrasment by the majority of the inhabitants.

You'd find a Dwemer on the street from time to time.

So making impressive architectural feats that require know-how to make isn't a sign of intelligence? Well then.

Only the architects who designed them were smart. Everyone else could have had the brain of a baboon.

Hmm I'm not sure I'd want the overbearing oppression of the Dragon Cult forcing me into slavery to build all those magnificent Ancient Nord temples. Or the Elves lording it over all and sundry. Or the Dwemer trying to bend reality and do... THINGS, along with all the general torture and cruelty. Seriously, the Dwemer built arenas where the main attraction were enormous spinning blades designed to chop the "competitors" in half? Delightful people.

Probably less primitive. Which is quite ironic.

You have to admit The Dragons and their Cultists where A-holes but they sure knew how to make impressive structures.
