What did you character do today? #2

Today Castor returned from Cheydinhal after assassinating the leaders of the Orum gang. He works for Ocato, and Ocato suspected that the Orums were supplying weapons to the various marauder and bandit groups around Cyrodil. They were, and Castor took great pleasure in killing them. But when he went to receive his payment Ocato only paid him for finding out that the Orums were supplying arms. In anger Castor left the Imperial Spire in a huff, and had to escape from the guards Ocato sent to kill him. Castor killed them and escaped into the alleys of the waterfront.

Sounds like Castor had quite the day.
I would have some stories, but I haven't gotten around to starting my new character. I don't even have her name, or race chosen yet D:

After a battle that could be described, at best, as touch-and-go and, at worse, alarming, Eregor fell dead at the assassin's feet. The corrupted ranger-turned-warlord was a tough and capable opponent, but, in the end, he could not stand up to Sithis's messenger. Nor could his allies. Eregor was the first to die, and his lieutenants quickly followed him into the Void. Anri was quite satisfied with the results of her battle. Her skills were tested to points beyond anything she had ever done before, and through a mixture of her prowess, skill, luck and the Will of Sithis, she was victorious.

And rich. Her cold gray eyes scanned the ruins, and even her stony facial expression almost cracked with glee at the riches that were now hers to claim. The amount of gold she acquired through her expedition amounted to about a quarter of a million septims, with no less than five trips required to haul loot back to the marketplaces. 'I could equip an army,' she mused to herself in passing. But a moment later, her eyebrow raised at the notion, reconsidering her thought. Her war with these elves would continue, and she would acquire more of their arms and armor - which rivaled those of the Legion. Perhaps she would store some of this, and then equip her own force and fulfill whatever Sithis might wish of her. Even that lapdog Phillida would not be able to hold back her assault. Yet the various pieces of armor and arms paled in comparison to the centerpiece. Eregor's armor was the fabled Dread Armor, missing only the helm. She had heard rumors of its existence, and while she never actively sought possession, here it was. Too valuable and heavy for her own needs, she would hide it away in her house, itself far removed from civilization, located deep inside the forests. There it would wait, until its secrets have been revealed.

Valen Dreth, too, fell to Anri's blade today. While she keeps a token from every assassination she makes, Dreth had nothing in his cell besides his sack cloth garments. She paused over him for a moment, almost sad in that she had no memento from him, until she remembered Valtieri's words: "his body is frail, but his tongue is sharp." She also remembered his annoying, taunting voice when she was in prison. His tongue was his only possession, so his tongue she kept.

After months of investigation and hiding, my horse was killed by the grand conspiracy. His 500 gold armor didn't save him. I guess he's with his old master Prior Maborel now if you believe in that kind of thing. My Dunmer spellsword took the day off from saving the world to mourn and bury his horse.

A snip from Chapter 43:

* * *
Swaths of tall grass were trampled down and streaked with blood. We pressed deeper into the meadow. What manner of atrocity was this!?! Just south of Imperial Isle was a beautiful grassy field where wild horses often frolicked. I had brought Superian here as a treat on our way back to the University, so she could run and play with them.

They were all dead.

I stood in my stirrups, and surveyed the carnage. The horses' wounds revealed they had clearly been killed by tooth or claw. Nausea, anger and fear welled within me. An Imperial Legion rider slowly approached, but I saw no sign of the beast responsible for this slaughter.

Superian's raised head and pricked ears gave but a moment's notice before I heard the unmistakable throaty warning of a big cat. I could see a slight movement of tawny fur in the tall grass. My mare needed no encouragement to wheel and be off in a burst of speed. Judging from the roar behind, I was sure the lion was after us.

The Legion rider took note, and spurred his steed toward us at a dead run. Our two horses thundered past each other, barely an arm's length apart. Superian and I were fleeing danger, as the Legion soldier and his bay charged into it.

Hooves casting a spray of dirt, grass and dust, we rapidly whirled to follow after the soldier on his bay. He had vaulted from his mount, drawn his sword and was now engaged with the mountain lion. Drawing Superian to an abrupt stop, I was on the ground with my bow drawn. The deadly dance between cat and sword was too quick for me to shoot without risk of hitting the soldier.

I silently screamed in frustration as I frantically danced and sidestepped, trying to get a shot. Watching the fight over the tip of my arrow, I was helpless to assist my rescuer. I felt as though a part of my heart was ripped from me as the brave man fell. My first arrow harmlessly hit the dirt as the lion sprang at the Imperial Legion horse. The second shot thudded into the side of the blade-wounded cat, killing it.

Sprinting to the soldier, my worst fear was confirmed. He was dead. I walked calmly to his horse so as not to frighten her further. She was on her feet, but bleeding and trembling. Channeling healing magic through my fingertips, I gently ran them over her wounds, sharing some of her pain. I continued caressing her neck and reassuring the bay until her heart returned to a normal pace.

I somberly returned to the fallen soldier.

Kneeling beside him, I removed the Imperial's helmet and gently placed my hand upon his face. I closed his blue eyes, while my own welled with tears that spilled onto his armor. "T-thank you, brave man," I stammered through quivering lips.

I searched for identification. His name, Gaius Rulician, was engraved on the back of his shield. I placed it into my pack.

He was too heavy for me to move, but this man didn't deserve to be picked at by bandits or scavengers. Gathering dry brush and branches, I built a pyre around him and torched it. I watched the fire for a long time. Eventually, the soldier's noble spirit rose with the smoke, leaving behind the iron and steel he no longer needed.

Phew, after a busy week I finally had time to visit Cyrodiil again and get on with Camarilla's quests!

Seeing the daylight again, after spending the better part of a day in the dark cave fighting the vampires, was a blessing indeed. I nursed my wounds in the waters of Lake Rumare, and decided to make the short trip to Roland's cabin rather than making my way all the way back to the City.

I told Roland what had happened, and he was relieved and happy. We spent a day in his cabin as he tended to my wounds, and we talked quite a bit as he showed me the beautiful countryside. He planned to seek out the members of Seridur's Order an persuade them continue its work, only this time for real. We agreed that I should be somewhat involved since I now had a bit of experience with vampires. Roland is a very handsome guy, and we grew closer during the time we spent at his cabin. He is still traumatized by the loss of his lover, though, that was very obvious to me.

Roland had told me nice things about the city of Skingrad, which supposedly is only a few days west of the Imperial City. Since Claudette at the Gilded Carafe had encouraged me to seek out a herbalist in Skingrad regarding the Nirnroot plants I had found, I decided to make the short trip westward and see the place for myself. The trip there was a little too eventful as the road was littered with wilderness beasts and bandits alike. Thankfully, I had taken to use the Templar Sword I had acquired from the Dragonborne warriors killed by goblins a few months earlier, and it packs quite a punch. I was glad to see that the Imperial Guard is also patrolling the road, though, and I made it to Skingrad in one piece. What a fantastic place! I love the landscape here! The rolling hills with vineyards and wildflowers, and even the city itself is quiet and idyllic. I could imagine living here sometime, should I ever leave Imperial City.

I located the herbalist in the cellar of one of the local inns. He told me a lot about the Nirnroot, most of it I can't remember, but he made me a potion from a bunch of them which sounds rather potent! I'll have to go find more of them as he offered to make me as many potions as I could find roots for!

After that I spent a few days seeing the city. I had also agreed to help a weird little wood elf named Glarthir. He seems extremely paranoid and suspects everybody in town is spying on him. He wanted me to investigate the behavior of some of the people he suspects, and I figured it would give me a chance to meet the locals and at the same time make some much needed Septims. Everybody I've spoken to recognizes Glarthir as being rather odd, but harmless, and I've pvssyd to a lot of nice people over the past few days. I went over and talked to Davide Surilie, who Glarthir suspected. Him and his brother have have a winery here, and we hit it off and had really fun day together. He told me about their wine, and I think we must have sampled every single bottle they had. I got a little drunk, and although I hadn't planned for it, we ended up having some fun in a field next the their vineyard. He's really very cute and I liked his...wine. I might hang around here for a while and meet his brother too, as he invited me back for dinner at their house tomorrow tonight.

I also read a notice about a derelict mine, which supposedly has been infested by goblins. I might go check that out for myself as I'm rather low on gold, and this could possibly produce a few coins. 19 is the count in my purse. Not good.

After seeing the horror at Kvatch, Rainman spends his days betting on the Arena and drinking lots of alcohol and eating lots of food. He will eat a piece of meat and drink some alcohol after each match and what he consumes depends on whether he won the bet or not.

My High Elf Endomyr investigated Forsaken Mine and sadly found Viranus Donton and all his followers dead. After reading Viranus' journal, Endomyr carried (dragged) Eduard's body over to Viranus', so they could be close one last time.

Heddvild lost her friend Martin. She knows that he was right, and it was the only way, but the big statue in the temple just doesn't make her feel any better about it. She left the Imperial City and headed north.

She might go home to Skyrim.

Finally started a new character, but couldn't do much, Im about to go to bed, figure id post what I have whilst it is still fresh.

Kanjusei awoke in the Merchant's inn, awoken from a dream like world. She shrugged the dream off, it was nothing more than her frolicking in a meadow naked for some reason. As she dressed up, she went downstairs for breakfast, after eating a not so spectacular meal, she notices her Spectacles are quite worn, so she leaves them with the Nord Jeweler in Red Diamond. She visits the Best Defense, the main reason for her trip to the Market District. Buying some Steel and Fur gear, she leaves with a light coin purse. She figured, Why not go see what this Good as new place is all about. Jesnine the owner, thanks her for coming to her over some guy named Thoronir. She then was enlightened on the situation. Thoronir has what is believed as a stolen Inventory. With nothing better to do, Kanjusei decides to investigate the claims. She bursts in the store, drawing attention from a few shoppers, claiming the stash of goods was stolen. The shopkeep laughed at her face, then threatened to call the guard. I best follow him, he looks like a Sneaky Bosmer. But one problem she realized, the shop closes at 8 or 9pm. She had to kill 9 hours. What better place, she thought, than the First Edition. Phintias, the Proprietor of the shop sold her a Joke book. It was filled with some good laughs, but she then read the final joke, "What do you call a Wood elf that doesn't lie, cheat or steal? A Dead Wood Elf." She threw the book across the store, knocking some of Phintias' stock to the ground. If there was one thing she couldn't stand, it was hatred to the Bosmer. After cleaning up her mess, and chatting with Phintias, it was 3 hours closer to following Thoronir.

Heh yeah that's probably not as good as my earlier stuff, Kinda got a little rusty on the writing.

Double post, because I got more story to share, and the thread is pretty close to page 2.

Kanjusei was still wasting time, Thoronir seemed to run his shop forever. Remembering that her Spectacles were back at the Jewelry store, she goes to pick them up. Upon entering, the Nord Shopkeep tells her he had some bad news. He broke the frame fo her spectacles, making them useless. But he had come up with a compromise, using silver lying around, and some leather, he created Goggles that would serve the purpose of her old Spectacles. Should there be need for bloodshed, she could target better with these. Before she knew it, Thoronir had locked up shop, asking a beggar she paid to watch him, he told her he went to the Merchant's inn. Kanjusei ran backl the Inn, to find Thoronir having a bottle of Ale, sharing rumors with other patrons. It was a few hours of this, before he left. Removing her heavy steel plated boots, she followed him, careful not to alert him. Eventually she saw Thoronir settle in to converse with a Nord. The nord told Thoronir that his next shipment was coming in earlier than expected. Wow thos ethieves work fast Kanjusei thought. After the conversation, she carefully rolled into the bushes, to avoid the Nord named Agronir. Sh eopted to follow the nord back to his house. When he entered, she figured he was going to go to bed, so as she tried to open the door, she notices it is locked from the inside. She snuck away defeated, and thought. If I come back later, I can go in when he... She collapsed from lack of sleep. Awaking the next day across the street in some bushes, she sees Agronir leave his house. Now was her chance. Sneaking into his house, she went towards the basemant, after not seeing anything suspicious upstairs.

She saw an awful lot of Bonemeal laying around, with a muddy shovel laying near a big depot of Bonemeal. She thought nothing of it, until she notices a book called Macabre Manifest. She opened it, learning that Agronir had been stealing his "shipments" from the dead. Disgusted, she ran back to Thoronir's shop. He was disgusted, and promised to get rid of his inventory, for it was tainted, and he would join some alliance of shopkeepers. He begged Kanjusei to stop Agromir. The book suggested he was off to steal form a grave here in the Imperial City. Rushing to the palace cemetary, Kanjusei was too late, the door was unsealed, she entered, before Agronir was finished looting the tomb. He laughed at her. "Stupid Bosmer, did you really expect to stop me and my friend here? Thoronir is a great buyer, he has no idea." Kanjusei told the Nord what she had told him. Enraged, he proceeded to attack her, with the help of a friend. Using her limited knowledge of destructoion magic, sh eunleashed a circle of ice magic, which made short work of Agronir. A few slashes across the Imperial made short work of him. But it didnt matter, the door had been locked when she entered. Without any way to open it, she was doomed inside, until she noticed the sparkle in Agronir's pocket, the key to her freedom. With this in hand, she leaves with Agronir's shovel, and his unique sword.

Thoronir, and the shopkeepers alliance were thankful for her help. A measly 100 gold was her prize, but she didn't care, she ended up with a very nice blade. After she slept through the night, she elft the city, to see the great outdoors. Not even twenty minutes into her trek, she almost lost her life. A group of powerful outlaws had attacked her. He rForst Nova had made short work of almost all th eswordsman, but she still had 3 Bowmen and 2 mages to kill, on top of the powerful Ringleader. It was a tough fight, but it got a whole lot worse when she was left to face off with the Ringleader 1 on 1. Using her Frost nova when her Magicka reserves would allow it slightly helped, stirking him with the Debaser, eventually he fell. Her wounds were not quite as bad as she thought, so she left her gear on the shore near this battle field, placing the items next to a few mudcrabs. She bathed her wounds, and saw a catfuish in the river, which would make for some good eating. Grabbing Debaser from amongst her gear, she swims down to slice the catfish up. After her bath, she geared up, ate the catfish, and embarked on. No clear goal, just wandering the world. A few rats ambushed her on the journey, until she came across a small camp of Raiders. They were quite weak, she finished them off with ease. No real gear for her to take, she left the corpses alone. She saw a small village as she embarked onwards. It was called Aleswell. She noticed some bizzare things about the place. No one seemed to be outside. Entering the Inn, she saw a lone Imperial. When she was approached by an ivisible Dunmer. Apparently a wizard had cast a spell upon the village, and wanted her to go reverse it, with the help of this Imperial, since it might of been dangerous to go alone. "Names Cutter, cause I cut stuff, I suppose, say, how about we blow off these fools and go find a nice cave, and see where things go." Kanjusei shook her head "Maybe after we reverse th espell." She had no intentions to sleep with this crazy Imperial, but enticing him would get him to help her out. The fort they were looking for was down a large hill. In a hasty move, Cutter attempts to run down the hill, when he trips, rolls down the hill, and takes a fatal blow to the head at one of the rocks on the beach. Kanjusei was kind of thankful, she didn't have to kill him if he tried anything on her. Proceedign slowly down th ehill, as to avoid the unfortunate event that had taken Cutter, she reaches the wizard's home. Hearing a voice of an Altmer, she turned to see nothing. Apparently the Altmer is invisible too. Askign him to reverse the spell, the Altmer gave her the scroll. "Get out of here now."

She stood in the middle of the village, and casted the spell that was inscribed on the scroll, as per the wizard's instruction. The Orc gardener had reappeared. The spell was reversed. She entered the inn to see 3 dunmer waiting for her return. The Innkeeper gabe her the room upstairs to use whenever she wants. One of th esisters was very rude towards her, despite saving her village. Night had fallen, so she went to try out the bed she was promised. It was a measly Bedroll, but she didn't care. The enxt mornign she awoke, to an interesting sight, the rude Dunmer in the nvde next to her, then she saw quite a few bottles of wine laying about the room. Would be nice if I could remember what happened here.. She quickly dressed in her armor, careful not to awaken her new 'friend'.The innkeeper said to her, "You had a bit much to drink last night, my friend, never seen anyone give my sister a run for her money. But you two might want to be a little more quiet when wrestling or whatever the devil you two did last night." Embarrased, she elft the inn quietly, who knows what happened last night. She then continues on her way to live life.

A snip from chapter 47 of Buffy's Journal:

* * *
I knew a couple things for certain: This fight would be measured in seconds instead of minutes, and I could afford precisely zero mistakes.

With Slayer filling one hand, a poisoned arrow in the other, and my stomach churning, I started up the stone steps.

"Good people of the Imperial City." The booming voice silenced the crowd. The announcer then changed his tone to a thundering guttural growl that ignited the sea of spectators to cheering. "Welcome, to the Arena!"

For the twelfth time in my life those words brought my heart to my throat. Buffy, execute your plan. Nocking my first poisoned arrow, I aimed through the gate.

Concentrating on my target, I pulled him more clearly into view. I was expecting to see the orc, but it was still a sobering sight as the sun glinted off the blade of his axe. I swallowed hard, knowing I could not allow this first arrow to miss. That my opponent was such a massive target was scant comfort. Action in the presence of fear. As the gate came down, I drew silk to cheek, adjusted my final aim point and loosed the arrow.

The orc was fast. He was halfway across the Arena before the impact of my arrow and Slayer's enchantments caused him to pause, and sparks to dance around his body. My poison flooded into him, darkening his green skin. He collapsed, paralyzed, taking frost damage, losing health and having his speed slowly but permanently reduced. Within seconds however, he struggled to his feet and resumed his charge, slightly slowed now.

Calling forth the energy of Cobra's Dance, magic flew from my fingertips. The emerald snake was still swirling through the air as I reached for the tail of a second arrow. My serpent struck the orc in his chest, paralyzing him again and adding more damage over time. He collapsed, but momentum carried him within two paces of me, showering my feet with sand. His axe was still firmly in his grasp.

I waited with my bowstring partially drawn. I didn't want to risk angle-skipping this arrow off the heavy raiment of the prone orc. He stirred. I knew within the next few seconds one of us would be dead. Struggling to his elbows, he looked up and our eyes met. I loosed my arrow into the exposed flesh at the junction of his throat and chest. The impact at this range jerked his hulking mass back to the sand.

It was over.

I stared down at my dead opponent, the announcer booming meaningless words and the crowd roaring. Shaking now, I had controlled my fear for only as long as had been necessary.

I looked up at the sea of timid souls cheering in the stands. None of them were worthy to even carry the axe of the almost unstoppable combatant at my feet.

"Rest in peace, Gladiator."

I turned and headed down the tunnel to the Bloodworks, blinking back a tear. Whatever stupid lust I had for battle was gone now. In fact I felt sick. Quickening my pace, I got to the renewal basin at the end of the tunnel as I started to retch.

Paxelle succeeded in getting her mage's staff. She has not killed anyone, ever, nor has she ever killed an animal. She uses stealth, invisibility, and paralyze when those tricks will be enough, and when she needs sterner measures, she lures enemies to places where there are guards, and lets the Law take care of the evil-doer. It's amazing how far a necromancer will chase you. :)

From the diary of Roxi'chu Dunssammssi:

2 Heartfire

Made it to Bruma today, barely. Frost Titan on the road. Killed two guards and three bandits alone before I took it down. Saw Frostcraig Spire from the road, the estate my third cousin left me after he died. I'll have to investigate it tomorrow, night is setting in and I'm too tired from my long ride from Chorrol.

From the journal of Marcus Venantius:

Got drunk in the Flowing Bowl last night. Woke up this morning behind the pub with no clothes on.

Did some more work for the Fighter's Guild. Went on a stroll outside the city and was promptly attacked by a Highwayman. He was too slow and got a mace to the head. He was carrying a nice ring, though.

Ezra just took down her first ever Hill Giant (from MMM)! Whew, what a battle - two hits from the Hill Giant would have killed Ezra, so we were bouncing around at half health trying to get that bugger to either a.) leave us alone or b.) die. With the help of a few very nice Imperial Legion officers (two of which died in the battle, I'm sorry to say) Ezra finally did it.

Oh, I'm so proud! ^_^ Maybe she's finally becoming a useful fighter.

Oh nice, Hill Giants are annoying, but drop quite the gem collection. Balances it out.

So today, my mess-around-until-DR6 character went on a bombing rampage with her exceptional stealth, and all while looking damn fine in her attire provided by Apachii Goddess store.
It was awesome, Guards and civilians flying about stepping on mines, or blown up when she timed a fuse bomb into a crowd, It was quite fun. Then cutting the guards in half and eating her meal of unusual foods.. And thats about it.

Found that you can sleep in the jail in Leyawind even if you are not arrested :) broke in to talk to an Argonian for the thief guild mission, he asked for a lockpick but did not break out so I broke into another cell and slept an hour, but he stayed in the cell, I picked his lock before I left.

Was cheated at the three sister lodge, I paid for a room went to bed early left the room for some hours at the middle of the night and then I came back I had to pay again. I did not add any fuss as had stolen lots of things from the palace even pickpocket the count and countess and had my backpack filled with stolen goods.

Talked to the arch-mage Traven about necromancy, strange that he ignored my summoned zombie and I who wanted to impress him, has to train so I can summon a lich.

Wanted to test out a new spell effect but was interrupted by a stupid mage who started to fight the summoned scamp I was testing on went to another room and a female mage interrupted me that was pretty funny as she took off her robe, summoned daerice greaves and fought topless. I thought the university was a serious research institution and not a place where your research is interrupted by old topless ladies.

Has to visit Ongar in Bruma to sell my stolen goods soon, he is always very tired not surprised as he is the only trader I know about who is willing to do business at any time.

After spending a pleasant evening with the Surilie borthers I had to go meet with that weird little elf behind the temple. As far as I was concerned there was absolutely nothing wrong with Davide Surilie. Whatsoever. I put my dress back on and adjusted the mess that was now my hair, and slipped out the back door without waking either of the brothers. See you later boys.

Things went from bad to worse with Glarthir, and he now wanted me to assassinate Davide! I agreed out of fear from what that mad look in his eyes would spark if I didn't. Then I went straight to the city watch and turned him in. Better not get into a fight here if I ever want to live here, so I let them arrest Glarthir and deal with the mess. I decided it would be better for me to leave Skingrad for a while until Glarthir had been taken care of. Who knows, I might be next on his list! Just to compensate for my troubles I helped myself to some of his belongings from his house since I was going to see the fence in Bruma anyway.

I also had some unfinished business in Bruma to take care of. I'd had a little distance from the whole vampire thing, but there had been a slaying of one in Bruma, which Roland and the Order thought required further investigation. Also, there was a lady, Arnora, who had quested me with locating her jailed husbands' treasure, but it required me to gain his confidence to get the information. I normally knew exactly how to get a man's attention and confidence, but this one was on the other side of the bars in the Bruma dungeons, which made it a bit harder, so I had left it at that.

The trip to Bruma was tedious, I wish I had a horse. I had also not brought any fur clothes as I came straight from Skingrad, which made Frostfall so much worse! When I got there, the first thing I did was spend all the money I had earned from Glarthir on some warm clothes. Then I headed over to the scene of the vampire slaying where I was greeted by the city guard investigator, Carius, who filled me in on the situation. The vampire's wife, however, was of the opinion that the whole thing was a conspiracy and that her husband was no vampire. I negotiated a bit with the investigator, and we agreed that in return for me investigating the slaying further, he would place me in Jorundr's cell so I could get the information I needed. That is, I batted my eyelashes and agreed to have a drink with him later at the inn, and he agreed not to report the suspicious arrangement to his officers.

In the dungeons I had to come up with a suitable story for Jorundr, which wasn't too hard. He seemed resigned to his fate and all he wanted in return for the location of the treasure was knowing that his ex was dead. Seemed I had to play both sides of this little war. After 'serving my sentence' I was released and went to see Arnora about the necklace Jorundr wanted as proof of her death. She was not a pleasant woman by any means, but I couldn't bring myself to kill her in cold blood, so we pieced a story together and she gave me the necklace to show to Jorundr in return for half of the treasure. When I had gotten the information from Jorundr and went in search for the treasure, I was surprised by another participant in this little drama. Seems one of the city guards had gotten hold of the story and wanted the treasure for himself. Since he had me backed up against a wall with no witnesses, he drew his sword and promised me the same fate he had dealt Arnora. He wanted no loose ends, and for once I was happy to oblige. He barely saw my Templar Longsword coming from below as I drew and struck in the same motion, slicing across his chest and face, before he lay lifeless on the ground. I stripped off his chainmail and rolled him off a hill for the predators to deal with. No loose ends. I then located the chest which held a nice chunk of gold. Since Arnora was dead, it was all mine. All I had to do was meet the guardsman and investigate the vampire slaying.

That night at Olav's, Carius had a few drinks over his limit and decided to change the rules of the game. He told me to come back to his house and explained in some detail what he planned to do to me that night, or he would make sure I rotted in the dungeons. I could feel the rush of blood to my head and the heat in my face as I almost lost my temper right there. However, killing a city guard was not a smart move, and for the first time I can remember I managed to calm myself down. I had to play this cool, and I went to get us another drink before we left. Olav had been observing the whole thing, and he nodded acceptingly when he saw me empty a vial into Carius' drink.

I half dragged the half conscious guard back to his house and dropped him on the floor. His memory should be fuzzy enough in the morning to pose me no further problems.

Gregreo got lost in a cavern. He has no potions, no weapons, and he might be screwed...

I just had the worst mental image ever... Thanks for that! :D

Ezra and I went for a little flower picking run between Bravil and the Imperial City, after which we doubled back and did the Southern side of Bravil and then finally made it all the way to Leyawiin. Somehow, whenever we go pick flowers or search for alchemy ingredients we end up battling for our lives every few minutes... But, we made it out alive (still no deaths on Ezra, as we're playing dead is dead with her). And she managed to fight three Conjurers, two sheep (maybe rabid or something, as they attacked on sight  ), seven Gore Rats, two goblins, a horde of Giant Bush Spiders and two Blood Golems all at the same time and survive! Though mostly we were backpedaling and shooting spells and arrows as fast as possible... Anyhoo, she arrived in Leyawiin pockets bulging with all kinds of ingredients and is now spiffing up her Speechcraft on the locals.

Ezra fell in love with Leyawiin, and is now seriously considering using all her hard-earned cash to move there. Her home in Bravil doesn't seem very enticing anymore, after she's seen how beautiful Leyawiin and the surrounding areas are. Perfect ingredient gathering sites for her, as she's become rather obsessed with alchemy and ingredient gathering - she already has a good 75 hours on her, and she hasn't done a single quest yet! Just gathered ingredients, fought epic battles in the forests of Cyrodiil, and explored, which we're finding to be a whole lot of fun with MMM, UV, DR and numerous environmental mods. :)

Interestingly enough, he did meet a dashing female Redguard bandit who had the hots for him and...

...lets just say that Gregreo isn't afraid of that cave anymore. ;) :celebration:

He won't tell his wife. What she doesn't know won't hurt her. After all, sometimes a nobleman has to take a break from being all noble-y.

Now I'm free to debate on whether Lydia is from the line of Gregreo and Levola or Gregreo and that Redguard woman! :read:

EDIT: Check my sig for those who don't know who Lydia is.
