What did you do in Daggerfall today?

About time. Reached 100 in Destruction.

I love spellcasting.

I wouldn't say silver armor is any more rare than silver weapons. The difficult is finding a full set of either. I'll be you haven't had a complete set of silver weapons any more frequently than you've had a full set of silver armor.

Really because I haven't came across any silver armor yet, but found all the silver weapons.

Today? Today I started my game out by making a referentially awesome custom class called the Dread Pirate (complete with poison resistance). I then proceeded to take my character, Vittori Roberts, through Privateer's Hold, where I repeatedly get my ass handed to me without so much as a smoke afterward. After getting out of there, I sold just about everything I owned for around 7,000 gold (not bad, if I may say so myself), bought a horse, steel saber, some sweet moonboots, and made my way to Daggerfall City, where I am currently on a personal quest to find a decent holocaust cloak. I will keep you all posted on how this goes.

I could be wrong.

Nice. Did you name your character Roberts, or Wesley? (Or perhaps Wesley Roberts?)

Bah, I just saved myself into a corner. Fortunately, I always have an earlier save. Still, it kind of svcks I have to abandon a save. I got my character poisoned, but didn't realize it until after I'd saved, and I have neither a way of curing it, nor enough hit points and magic points to endure it. And the temple was no help at all (recalled out and rode at top speed to the Resolution of Z'en).

I'm almost tempted to declare this character dead beyond recovery. If I did that, I'd stash the good save somewhere else for when I want to play a mage again, and start a new character, probably a thief or an assassin. I've never done a thief or an assassin before, not at any length, anyway.

(The name Robers and/or Westley was a reference to the Princess Bride)

Finally met the famous Mannimarco. He's got quite a quaint little place in the graves, plenty of dancers and guards too.

Man. I wish those daedric weapons would show up in my game. My new Orchish Claymore is fun, and given I never really use my weapons other than to beat down doors.

Just looks for Rusty Ogre lodge and go upstairs. Steal from the many footlockers for daedric weapons and holy items. Just save and reload so that you don't lose reputation (or until you get what you want).

They aren't there. I've attempted it multiple times now, and they never show up.

You might have to try a different territory. I think there are other lodges were this work. I'll go find out. :)

EDIT: Go http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Hints#The_Loaded_Tavern for locations of inns where this works. You might have to reload a few times. I got like 20+ daedric items at 60 luck.

I DID discover a completely unconnected bit of dungeon. It's nothing more than a gray stone room, connected to a short hallway, which has another doorway that leads DIRECTLY into the void!

Privateer's Hold has a section like that. It's why you sometimes can't rest in the walkway up behind the throne; there's sometimes a monster in that unconnected area.

More than that, you were searching for a good holocaust cloak. Wesley, upon discovering they did, in fact, have a wheelbarrow, wondered where they might find a holocaust cloak.

Indigo (I think...): Where did you get that?

Fezzik: Miracle Max's. It fit so nice he said I could keep it.

Last night, I went ahead and banked my mage, and started an assassin, who is now exploring Castle Necromoghan searching for the master of a rogue assassin.

I'm glad somebody caught that. Really, though, I got the Roberts reference. my character's last name is Roberts, after all.

I was completing some quests for the Order of the Knights, when I was told to kill an orc leader and his followers. Whilst exploring the dungeon I got infected with The Plague.

I have no idea how to cure it - though a reasonable solution seems to go to a temple, if I can make it in time. Any temple?

I raided the The White Goblin in The Rusty Ogre Lodge and obtained a daedric: flail, mace, and 2 sabers. Woot, I'm going to keep the flail and one saber.

That plague will eat you away if you let it. This isn't your minor annoyance disease, this is your 'you will die like the peasant your are' disease.
