My Redguard Bard collected flowers and mushrooms for a low level Mages Guild associate.

I know..I know..it might seem noobish but keep in mind I've beaten this game like 15 times. I'm trying to roll characters that are as weak as possible to keep it interesting.

Hey, happy new year, that?s one great way to celebrate! :celebration: I might get to do this soon too with my barbarian when I?m off from this forum to a smugglers cave!
My boyfriend lies quite sick in the other room so I watched fireworks from the window, then got a total"chat overflow" trying to hang around a town in Guild Wars to celebrate, and ah, returned to my favorite game of Morrowind and Suran . Felt like peace and quiet after GW Winters Day festivities!
I loaded the game at Desele`s. Stayed for drinks with my friend Raflod the Braggart from Seyda Neen who?d allways wanted to go there e& whom I?d taken along (mod!NPC functionality! :P ) when going for a fighters guild quest to find bandit raiders near Suran.
And then I left Raflod at his long wanted Desele`s, hopped of over the mountain range in search of the bandits and landed in front of Umbra!

Long story short; Umbra 5 hit killed my level 23 pre-made class barbarian!!!!! :violin: 223 hp she had...Would have been 4 hits but I had a health potion in between.
I?ve previously slayed him with lower level magic and stealth characters who probably never got close enough to feel that famous blade....But now I?m quite humbled! I never even put all of my armor on, thinking him so puny...How awkward. Back to my previus save just casually standing in front of him!

I have played on New Years day also. Luckily i hadn't the sillyness of visiting the family.

My breton character Aurora has returned to Khartag Point. There she saw there was now a statue build, the shrine of boethiah. Aurora spoke to the statue of Boethiah. Boethiah was pleased with the work and rewarded her with Goldbrand. Then raided Kudanat and Adanumuran. In Balmora she spoke to deandre to get a next assignment to recover a book. This time the task was to recover the wizard's folly from some ashlanders near Maar Gan.
So up to Maar Gan then. On the road between Ald'Ruhn and Maar Gan she decided to raid the cave of Odibaal. After that continuing to Maar Gan. Found the ashlanders, who were on the path behind the silt strider, and defeated them by tossing fireballs on them. Took the book and returned it to Deandre. Then Aurora visited Vivec city again. At the Arena canton she came into the storage area where a locked door to an unknown area was. She picked the locked door and found herself then in the hidden area. There were some people down there. Upon speaking with them it seems this is the headquarters of the Morag Tong. They directed her to speak with the grandmaster. All the way in the backroom i found grandmaster Eno Hlaalu, the grandmaster of the Morag Tong. He said that she had alot of talent and may ask to join the Morag Tong. Aurora did this and was tasked to kill a certain Feruren Oran for full membership.
It wasn't easy, but finally killed Feruren honorably without problems. Eno was pleased she hadn't any problems and thus Aurora was now associate of the Morag Tong. The firsts writs she received was for Toris Saren and Odaishah Yasalmibaal. She decided to do the writ for Toris Saren, as that one was nearby in the redoran canton. Toris probably knew he was target of the Tong and yelled he never could be catched. He was wrong. Aurora reported the honorably execution of Toris Saren to the grandmaster and received 500 gold. Then she returned to home in Ebonheart.

Today I visited Mournhold. Went to the museum of artifacts and saw stenndars hammer. Just had to have it, so with a combination of chameleon, sneak and recall I managed to get it back to the apartment in st delyns without getting a bounty. Nice, bit impractical for daily use so I'll just keep it for my own pleasure.

Managed to get my mysticism skill to 80(I practically never use it argh...), leveled up to 59 and then failed to enchant my robe with spell absorbtion. After that, I went to Druscatchi (or something, you know Quarra Lair) and got almost killed by female nord vampire in ebony armor and then died to poison trap in another vampire tomb because I wasn't careful enough.

-Joined the sixth house.
-Freed some slaves, then killed them out of rage because they denounced me as a vampire when I asked them for some blood.
-My slave companion Ivela died when fighting an undead mage in some cave. I still dont know if I hid behind her, or she 'stepped' on front of me. Oh well, thats what you call loyalty...

Right now im in the prison tower of some fort near Caldera, accompanied by that half-wit Wine-soot-something. There's a lonely guard, and i'm blood-hungry. Sadly, the lonely guard casted 'crash for 1 sec on target' in order to live a little longer...

Killed Gaenor.

I got the GotY edition for Christmas, so I've just been getting into it-- Tribunal first. Went in with my most recent character-- a level 43 Dunmer Nerevarine/Arch-Mage/Redoran Archmaster/Patriarch/Fighters Guild Master/Morag Tong Grandmaster, and as it turns out, I'm glad I did. He's maxed in heavy armor and long blade (and blunt), and I've been running him in medium armor with a short blade, just to get some more experience. He's at about 60 in each. He was wearing a set of mod armor called Netch/Adamantium (very cool armor-- just what it sounds like-- Netch leather with adamantium plating stitched into it. IIRC, it had the same stats as adamantium, but I changed the esp so that it's a bit lighter and a bit weaker-- in any event, it's a bit lighter and a bit weaker), and carrying two short blades-- an ebony shortsword enchanted for 24 points of absorb health and a daedric wakizashi enchanted for 20 points of absorb health + soul trap.

So.... he had wandered around, talked to people, killed some goblins, spent about an hour fist fighting some Bosmer in the Winged Guar, this and that.... and had talked to Gaenor. Just because I've seen so many references to him, I knew about what to expect. Or thought I did. See though-- this character is nearly god-like, y'know? He went down into the sewers and just walked through them, killing goblins and durzogs and liches and such left and right, and without even breaking a sweat. And sure, I'd read a lot about Gaenor, but we're talking god-like here....

So.... he came into the main courtyard there, and there's Gaenor, all decked out in ebony. So I figured it was time, and checked and made sure that everything was repaired and charged and ready to go, saved the game, and approached him. And got stomped. By the time my god-like character was down to two Exclusive Restore Healths (after starting out with 16) and hadn't hardly budged Gaenor's health bar, I gave it up and restarted. And went back to Ald'Ruhn and got outfitted. Figured this 60 points of armor and weapon skill just wasn't going to do it, particularly with a deliberately sort of gimped set of armor and a shortsword. So, since both his heavy armor and long blade are maxed, I switched him out to the Lord's Mail, Fists of Randagulf, Ebony pauldrons, Daedric boots and greaves and Eleidon's Ward, and enchanted a new weapon just for the occasion-- a daedric katana with 36 points of absorb health. Named it 'Gaenor Swatter." Then made the roundabout trip by silt strider to Balmora to Vivec, then by boat to Ebonheart, then by teleport to Mournhold, and tore Gaenor apart. He just didn't stand a chance. At 100 skill, my character still didn't hit him all the time, but he hit him often enough to keep him mostly staggered, and the whompin' 36 points of absorb health chewed Gaenor up and kept my guy going, and it was over in just a couple of minutes.

And then I found myself, standing over this body in full ebony with an ebony longsword, myself decked out in full heavy armor (and half of it daedric) and already carrying 540 of my buffed 610 encumbrance limit. So I thought about it a bit, and turned around and went back-- teleport to Ebonheart, boat to Vivec, silt strider to Balmora to Ald'Ruhn, stripped off all the heavy gear, put Gaenor Swatter in a place of honor, strapped on the other two swords ("Reaver" and "Jack", FWIW) and put the netch/adamantium back on, silt strider to Balmora to Vivec, boat to Ebonheart, teleport back to Mournhold. Looted Gaenor's body and stashed everything in Velas Manor (my new favorite house), and..... burnt out on all that travel, but quite proud of whoopin' Gaenor so soundly--- here I am.

Time to go back now I guess..... I'm not even sure what's next-- I've done everything the two dudes in the Temple have currently, plus every side quest I could find..... there's a couple of interesting places I haven't explored in the sewers yet though, and I'd kind of like to play with the Blessed Spear a bit-- work on my spear skills. I'm sure something'll turn up. :D

I finished the Hircine's quest. I slept the first time and was not at all prepared. I had no idea that in order to start the quest you have to sleep. So i was caught off guard. I have my game set at 100 difficulty. So i died once i ran out of health potions and repair hammers. Those werewolves are [censored] hard. Especially if u got 2 or 3 on you. So the before i slept a few days later i stockpiled in my inventory 100 exclusive restore health potions and 75 repair hammers. When it was all said and done i had about 40 health potion left and 50 repair hammers. I loved the quest and it's cool to actually see what Hircine looks like. Not a daedra i would worship, but one i would admire.

I needed to make some money for more advanced spells. So today i took a bunch of soul gems and went and filled them up for sale. And went around looking in some bandit caves for loot.

Found that the Ebony Hoplite Armor mod was the one causing my problems. I had to disable and delete it.

I installed a mod that adds Royal Guard Shields to the Royal Guards (and changes their standard armament to an Ebony Longsword), but found that the mod won't change existing guards. I went around with an amulet of Chameleon (100% for 15s) and bashed every generic Royal Guard in Mournhold. The new ones have shields. :D

Soh-Cah-Toa, my first Argonian character ever, decided she'd had enough adventuring, got nice warm snow bear and snow wolf suits tailored for her (it's cold being a lizard on Solstheim!) and settled down as the Factor of the East Empire Company at Raven Rock. (She made level 48, which is the highest level I've ever taken a character to.)

My Warrior raided some smugglers caves, found lots of nifty scrolls, and a Ring of Toxic Cloud, which is a cast on use for Poison 2-60 pts in 20 ft for 10 secs on touch. I don't get how something so powerful is worth only 14 drakes, but that was a great find for me. I tested it for fun and with one casting took out 5 guards within seconds. I also found an abandoned shack not far from Gnaar Mok, settled in and used my Amulet of Mark to mark it. Now to find an Amulet of Recall...

Took a tour into red mountain, and killed my first ordinator with this character. It all began because I found the helm and a shield laying around in the tower of dusk (I think) so I take it, go downstairs and prepare to leave the premises when it hits me. There's a lone ordinator, a lone set of indoril armor, and am just gonna leave!?

So I had a little chat with him, and when he turned I quickly took my claymore and had at him.
Even with the vampire touch and the vampire calm humanoid spells I got dangerously close to dying.

Took the Indoril Cuirass and the boots, and left him my own glass cuirass out of respect.

Then got killed by another one who either heard what had happened, or just did not like me wearing indoril without a robe.
Of course I reloaded, and did him right too ;p

I started a new character yesterday, Dunmer pure mage. To my surprise she actually managed to kill an Ascended Sleeper at level 2, with just the basic spells from Arrille. Very nice :) It did require a lot of running around, but it was definitely worth the effort.

I had forgotten how much I can enjoy to begin with a new RP character. Being vulnerable and weak again, it's awesome.
