What did you do in Morrowind today? #9

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 11:51 am

Not today but throughout the week I started a new character who became a Quarra vampire who took over the BloodFang Tong (Suran Underworld) and the Fighter's Guild, Percius' way as he hates the Camonna Tong.
Bought Hlaalo Manor (Princess Stomper mod I think), Ghorak Manor, Wayfarer's Rest, Racer's Roost, Erengard Mines, got the Abandoned House from SU along with Aegir's Keep (Fun assault, led 6 of my vampiric children, only 2 survived). Assaulted a couple of the Dunmer strongholds and made a few thralls and claimed all the slaves as my own.

Cured his vampirism, got Jasmine from Seyda Neen did the first MQ mission then went to get Julan before starting the second. After 4/5 years I'm finally going to push forward and complete the MQ.

I've been playing my Redguard for a looong time now. Having pretty much mastered Morrowind and Bloodmoon, I've now moved onto Tribunal. I've just found that mazed band and given it to Almalexia.

Also, I've just got into enchanting. I enchanted my Daedric Tower Shield with CE Restore Health 9 pts, which set me back 100k, so to make up for it I made a ring ("Wily Ring of Selling") which fortifies Mercantile 600 pts for 1 sec xD

Thus, I've been making my money back by selling absolute junk for 8-10k around Mournhold.

I've moved into Velas manor in Mournhold, after killing that evil sorceror. However, I've already filled up every container in the building, so I'm looking around for a new, convenient house in Mournhold.

Any suggestions? ^^

Well, first I was in the Vivec sewers, and then I decided to do the quest about the murdered people in Vivec. After getting the quest, I talked to a guard, who then promptly took my best sword that I had taken from the arena store-room earlier. Now I have taken a vow to kill everyone in the hall of justice when I get more powerful because THEY TOOK MY SWORD. It was THE BEST sword I had, because it could do magic damage too so it could kill ghosts and stuff. Now all I have to use is some lame flame dagger. (I do like the explosion sound it makes when it hits though.) I then went into the sewers to find the murderer, but almost got killed by some orc magic guy (that I could have easily killed if I had my good sword.) Then I left and went back to balmora and tried to do the second thieves guild quest to steal the key from that manor guy. I failed, so I then just went around the manor stealing stuff. He just followed me threatening me and trying to punch me. (I could have killed him with my good sword :( I did this about 4-5 times again to get enough money to buy some better armor, and got caught by the guards AGAIN. I then teleported to vivec to finish some quest stuff, only to find I didn't have the item I needed. So all in all, not a very successful day. (except for the part where I emptied the mansion.)

Doc the Imperial today recovered the ring of Moon-and-Star. while on his way back to the archcanon in Vivec, his guiding spirit realized something was incredibly wrong. somehow, Doc's journal became empty of all useful information, and millions upon millions of small scraps of paper were thrown at him, asking simple "yes or no" questions, where answering "no" sent Doc and Vvardenfell into some sort of dormant sleep state.

After this was done, Doc decided to set a recovery point for himself if the fighting got too intense for him to survive. somehow, the entire universe stopped in action, and was kept like that for eternity, in the middle of a stride toward the archcanon.

it appeared that some unknown forces called "G'lit-che's" were slowly picking apart Doc's world, until finally it simply stopped completely. Now Doc is dormant again, as his guiding spirit fights the evil G'lit-che's the best he possibly can. the fight is not going well.

Well I had just packed up a bunch of valuable gear that I had stored in raven loft (a pretty good house mod.)
So I then teleported to balmora (part of the mod.) and proceeded to...fall through the ground and then crash.
There was also the time I went into a cave and the slowed down and started displaying ribbons of color ,kinda like that screen saver.
try to guess what happened next.
Thanks morrowind for your wonderful gaming experiences!
Its a good game and I love it when I encounter a bug its usually the game breaking kind.

Killed Almalexia and trapped her soul, got HopesFire, and the Mazed Band, teleported to Mournhold and as i walked out of the temple i was greeted by Azura, she said that the ash storms in Mournhold would disappear and never return, she did this as a sign of good faith to the Dunmer people.

Directions on how to kill Almalexia (do not try this):

Me -> :flamethrower::shocking: <- Her

Oh really im gonna make it rain forever (:< Muahahahahahahaha

Oh ya and i killed everyone of Almalexia's Hands (awsome armor) which took me about 2 hours. I had to run in the chaple, attack them, use up all my restore health potions, run out, go to the great bazaar, buy more health potions, run back, and so on. After they were all dead i realized if i took all of their armor i would e over-encumbered soooo i got one set, put it on, talked to a high ordinator, now they all want me dead.

Today so far i've furthered my way in the Hlaalu faction and am now a Lawman. Other than training my skills and trying to make a little gold here and looting caves. Today I found the Lord's Mail cuirass in a underwater cave on the coast of Ebonheart. I turned it into my base of operations since it's so well hidden.

Got myself bitten by a Vampire tonight. What a shock! That was totally unintended.
Well, I guess that means my poor Character has to be extra carefull, if he wants to maintain his living in Port Telvannis - but he's hungry, so hungry.

Started a new character today. After years on the Xbox, I finally got the game for the PC yesterday. Put a few hours in so far and loving it. It's been a long time since I booted up Morrowind, and the addiction is already taking hold, again. :)

Just Recalled my Wood Elf from Hlormaren, she is still not ready to cope with the guardians there, nor is she good enough at sneaking to get past them unnoticed. What kind of treasure is there, she wonders, to need such a bunch of fine guardians. Worth a visit later on.

The magic spell left her in front of the Creeper, but with nothing to sell him this time. She rented a bed for the night at Caldera after buying some provisions, and at 7am she is planning to hit the road for Ald′rhun. She remembered about an old time lad, Serandas, and she wants to see how things are going for him.

Hey just wanna know what you guys did on morrowind today if you played it

I spent most of my time today at the Fighters Guild and a little helping Blades. (I need to finish MQ) Gotta help a Ashlander tribe move into Ald Deadroth. Then I had to deliver some flin to a mine in the Red Mountains. Then had to kill some curropted fighters guild members. Got my block up to 60 and only leveled up once today. That's about it

Please post what you did =)

Today? I've mainly worked on http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=8597, adding the final touches for 2.0 final. You could say that "my char helped to build the shrine, which is dedicated to the events that casted out the Imperials from Solstheim. He also planted two small trees, hoping that the deserted zone the Fort left would quickly be reclaimed by Nature again".

I completed my set of Orcish armor, then tidied up the house a little. Now I'm practicing my Conjuration skill because Sorcerers need to be good summoners. Now that I have a full set of Orcish Armor I can proceed to enchant it. Orcish armor is a magicka sponge. It can hold more magicka than any other medium armor and will, more than likely, make my character more effective in various situations. Thats what I accomplished today.

Yesterday; since I'm at work and have not started on morrowind time yet.

I played around with enchanting trying to increase my stats when I found the world map was messed the [censored] up. Then I proceeded to spend the rest of my playtime fixing that and reverting to an older save :P

Yesterday (only been awake for 1 hour today, going on MW in a minute though), I got from level 3 to level 6 on my 2nd redguard. Did part of the MQ and have just got the lost prophecies. Also got 200k gold after using almsivi intervention to get out of Ilunibi, and ended up in Molag Mar, where I looked around the waistworks and found the buoyant armigers stronghold. There were 3 people in glass armor. I owned them. Slaughtered them. Then spent 10 minutes buying and selling stuff to Creeper trying to give him enough gold that I could sell something for full price. Also found a Daedric Claymore, it's a bit overpowered at level 6. :D

Do'tirath: Another framerate killer is that one Uvirith Grave mod where you have to defeat the champion. Do it with a mage (using Gothrens Helm and Aryon's Helper) and watch your computer slow to a crawl... and your character's health fail in slow-motion. ;P

Also talking about yesterday:

-Playing a Bard character with 85 personality who entertains for a living. I'm doing my best to play realistically (such as sticking with crap armor for the first five levels, better armor five levels after, and moving up armor ranks that way. The game suddenly gets a lot harder at level 10 when you just picked up steel armor...) and to keep myself under 300 gold at a time by buying food, spells, and other essentials (I'm buying armor to use at a later date. I have to stick to my armor level (see realistically), and I refuse to upgrade until I have at least half my total armor for 3-5 levels. Yes, I'm crazy.). I got Josie's Entertainers mod so I can officially entertain just about any city (except for some that don't even have inns... There's prolly a mod for that somewhere...), and with Constance robbing the populace blind while "under the influence", life has been... interesting. After a solid five hours, I finally made it to level two and got my butt whooped by a level 12 nord with a steel warhammer. I will avenge my death. Someday. Maybe. Yeah.

-Also started a new character, this one a spear Argonian joining the Imperial Cult. After getting whooped by the same guy who killed my bard, I'm going to level a bit and get started on some of my other Cult quests. It promises to be interesting...

-I also want to return to my level 20-odd Nord guard with a Voice mod (someday)

-My level 12 or so Dunmer Tribunal fanatic has also been itching to slaughter heretic Hlaaluans and disbelieving Telvannis. >:}

I took out the Sixth House Base at Hassour. It doesn't fit well with any story line but my char just wanted to get a decent night's sleep somewhere without being hassled by Ash Zombies.

I got 1 shot by Gedna Relvel. :swear:
Then I got 1 shot by her on -100 difficulty.
Then I had to retrieve the dragonbone cuirass on my Nord in order to survive the 10 min fight required to kill her. :celebration:
