Opened up the construction set for the first time and don't have a clue what I am doing. Do you even need the disk to use it?

No you don't id start with learning the basics of housing heres the tutorial i used. Don't worry its not as scary as it looks. You'll be scripting in a mounth or two :P
The tutorial starts out with copying a house from another mod ( this is not required just do a balmora ( or seyda neen or w/e ). Start by just copying interiors, later you can start moving things around but its good for a beginer to start by just copying interiors and changing small things.

The Travels of Argoth Maximillian

Chapter 2
Oh it's that time again? Well trying to remember what happened such a long time ago is going to be weary for my fragile mind. The entire universe seem to go haywire when you least expect it. Like e.g. when you're casually walking towards the nearest town to finish the quest and you remember that you haven't set up camp, rested a bit and written down a log so that the next time you awake from the perpetual slumber you'll at least have a slight idea of what you were doing. That happened a few times, something that the scholars of this world would like to call "saving" before the world comes crashing down on you. Oh dear.

Last I remembered I met an old man with some serious hygiene issues as well as drug abuse problems who was kind enough to tell me what the daedroth I was supposed to do in this miserable place. He even gave me a few septims to aid me in my travels. But I could see through his cunning scheme. Thinking that his plan to get me to do his bidding was going to fail, he told me get a "cover story" before doing the demands of some crazy sect called "the Blades".

"To hell with that." I thought and went on to raid the Bitter Coast and West Gash regions for more money so I could buy myself a house one day, and some more booze. And that I did. Well, the money and booze parts did, not the buying a house part. Having somewhere around a hundred thousand septims, I could see myself as quite a rich Argonian in this swamp. But I needed a place to live and store my money and booze along with equipment, food and other items that could have a potentially mischievous purpose. Luckily, I found a house in the Azura's Coast region, on an island with an apparently drunk and very talkative mudcrab. He said he was some sort of merchant. Believing that either I or this place was mad, I came to the conclusion that whatever I would try to do to rationalize this, it eventually would become a moot point and thus it was better to just let it sink in. He obviously must have been real as I was already making heaps of money from him.

Another thing I noticed was that since I had so much money, I had rather little political power in this cesspit. Looking in an imaginary newspaper, I found out that by joining one of the "Great" Houses of Morrowind would allow me to increase in power and gain total dominion over this island. And the House of Redoran fitted my violent personality. Off to Ald'ruhn I was to scheme my way through the political top ten. Turned out it was going to take a lot longer to finalize my goals. N'wahs…

For once I thought I might have finally found some sort of inner peace when it was broken down by the frustratingly bad directions given by these people. They said the infrastructure in Argonia was bad but obviously they hadn't been here before. At least in Argonia there was the rootworm travel network that would take us pretty much everywhere. Here I was travelling on dirt roads with no clear signs and the only directions I was given was so hard to memorize that it fried my brain. Did it look like I had some paper to write it down on?! All I remembered was to head towards Gnisis and then to take a few turns here and there to the left and right once I entered the hills to find this old nagging Dunmer female, who had such a bad self-confidence that she had to call the Redorans to get rid of some mudcrab pestilence.

Jumping forward in time, past some potion delivery, the murder of some Thieves' Guild members for no reason, Old Blue Fin, and finally coming to the town of Vos where I found myself with this little quest, or ridiculous demands by some completely wacky people as I like to call it, given to me by the oh so righteous Fighters' Guild to quell the evil in Tel Mora and while being here take out the evil Rels Tenim. And while the former was a piece of cake for my now fifteen years older person, the latter turned out to be a pain in my behind. There I was, in the Sheogorad region, swimming from island to island, fruitlessly trying to find this little cave where this malevolent person was rumored to be, based entirely on the information given to me by some uneducated Ashlander savages. Reaching the boiling point of turning into some sort of rage machine, I went back to the Ahemmusa camp and began taunting some of the worthless cattle people into attacking me, and then brutally slaying them to relieve some of the anger and hate having been built up in my black and cold-blooded heart.

Days later, I finally found this cave next to the apartment of some crazy blood-svcking witch, whose ring I now possessed. Even then, after being relieved for a short amount of time, my hatred and rage was in the process of being fueled by the apparent mystery of the missing embodiment of evil i.e. Rels Tenim. Throwing rocks all over the place in rage, I managed to found a ledge up in the ceiling which would lead me to the coward known as Rels Tenim. There I met his accomplices, who had no idea of who I was. They, along with Rels Tenim, were mercilessly murdered by me and their corpses were burned, soaked in vinegar and salt and then thrown to the slaughterfish. Proudly standing on their desecrated corpses, now in the stomachs of hundreds of dead slaughterfish, I wrote down my accomplishments in my log and took a long hike to Sadrith Mora to get my reward, where the world had enough of me and decided to crash. Rats…

I know what you mean. With the large amount money that can be gained, it's a miracle the entire island hasn't been bought yet.

I fought Gaenor at max difficulty with no cheating. My character, Uhura, had ebony armor and an ebony short sword enchanted to do an extra 35 points of fire damage. She has 100 in agility and speed, short blade, block and heavy armor. I used potions to restore my health 21 points and fortify my strength and luck 85 points. My gear also CE fortifies my strength for an end result of 253 strength. I went for the quick hits so that she was constantly pummeling him. It took about a minute to do Gaenor in, so he was "gone in sixty seconds".

My Battlemage was bored and in need of quick cash so he used his Bound Longbow and some cheap Chitin arrows to thin the rampant overpopulation of Netch along the Bitter Coast. He became a bit more experienced as a Marksman as a result, despite it not being one of his areas of expertise. He made some cash from the Netch Leather, and a few Racer plumes and other ingredients from animals who attacked him.

Priscilla, the Neverar and the slayer of the crazy goddess Almalexia was given orders from the Emperor to help
the undercover archeologist Folms Mirel in Caldera to locate all the Propylon Indices. Priscilla feels this quest
was no challenge for her because of the VTA Travel Agency gift she recieved from the the Emperor's daughter
Emma, for slaying Dagoth Ur. The gift was a big help in the recovery of these items.

My name is Grenda, and I am a Fryse Hag.

There is a rime of blood beneath my fingernails which is not mine, so I must have killed someone again; there was a vision of a name on a bloody scrap of official-looking vellum which had called out to me, seeking truth. There was a wretched shack with a book on the floor and a dead Dunmer who wore a ring of a quality far beyond his station in life.... a blur, then a sack of gold in my hands, the scrawny dragon commands I use the reward to buy some clothes. I wander in the sweltering heat, heading northward, always north.... Back to the clarity of the brittle winds of my snow-clad homeland.... Angry men and mer screech at me to go back where I came from, but I'm trying, really, I'm trying the best I can to do just that.

There is a stench of blight, but I am far away from Red Mountain, where? An egg-mining town where people wander with nothing to do. "Sickness? Destiny? Too much..." I say to an Orc; he turns me around and points me toward a temple. A blur, a flicker of candlelight, a golden column in the center of the room.... "Potion! You're going to need a potion to donate", says the shining golden one. His face filled my sight with prophesy and darkness. "Esib-Nummu, go find Zanmulk, go, now! Move! I don't want to catch whatever she's got."

"Oh, this is bad," says a rough, testy voice. "She can't swallow the potions. This isn't going to work; the Ash Mask shrine is her best hope." Louder, then, "Listen to me, Nord. Take this potion and offer it to the shrine. Yes, yes, I know it's heavy, but you have to do this. You have to--"

A flash of pure white, then a vision of another place, strange and outside of Time.

"I expected you," said Vivec. "We have business, you and I." A pause, and then, "Ah, wrong time. This is before now, not after now." I am transfixed, unable to move; a single tear makes an inexorable journey down my cheek. "Oh, well," he said. "You're of no use to anybody like this. Come back when you're really ready."

Another flash of pure white. In the temple shrine, the Ash Mask of Vivec is still glowing. "He... kissed me and told me to come back later," I said. "The experience is different for everybody," said Zanmulk; his voice was still rough, but more kindly now. "I've lost it, I've lost the Second Sight," I said. "Soul sickness is too great a price to pay for prophesy. You're lucky a mob didn't stick you into a fire," said the Ordinator. "You have the healing touch now, young Nord. Go forth and spread that gift in Vivec's name," said Zanmulk. "And go buy some clothes."

My name is Grenda, and I am a Fryse Hag no more.

Today my Altmer mage joined House Telvanni and worked for them all the way until she had to choose a patron. So she's now working on the chores needed to get the patron she wants.

Upon discovering that he had all of four gold to his name, my altmer alcoholic decided to finally brave the ruins of a dwemer stronghold. Fortunately he wasn't as drunk as he usually is, so he managed to slay all the animunculi without too much fuss. Upon selling his haul, he promptly spends it all in the local bar in Suran, forcing him to walk all the way to balmora for his next assignment. Somewhere in that venture he acquired an altmer slave named Yakov, who he's taken a liking to as he doesn't complain so much about the smell. xP

Went off to fight Umbra; Hope he's not going to be too tough..

Famous last words.

Today I did several Redoran quests, mostly for the lady in the Treasury in Vivec city. The most notable and dangerous was my campaign against the blighted monster Dagoth Tanis who had taken over an ancient stronghold. I discovered the corpse of an unfortunate warrior the Redoran had recently sent. I retrieved his ancestor ring (and his glass armor and fancy ebony blade! I know a Scamp in Caldera who pays good money for such wares) and ventured farther into the dimly lit, creepy mansion. I finally found the blighted horror with his face tentacles. He sent his barely dressed minions at me first, but my bound battleaxe cut them down where they stood. I raised my Second Barrier and charged in. I was dealt several blows by his poison-secreting claws, but my axe made quick work of this abomination. After catching my breath and healing, I looted the strange amulet from his body. I surveyed my surroundings. What sort of creepy, unnatural place is this? I didn't want to venture farther in. I figured I could report this to the Temple or Legions later, and they could send in a few crusaders and priests to consecrate the defiled stronghold. As for my Nord, he collected his winnings and collapsed on his Mages Guild cot to rest.

Behold! The yellow sun shines upon Red Mountain from a blue sky, for Dagoth Ur and his evil blight exist no more. With Azura's ring as reward, I traveled to my stronghold and stored the last of the Grand Soul Gems containing various lesser Dagoths where they will be forever heirlooms of the House Hlaalu. Returning to the great city of Vivec, I climbed the stairs to the Palace and met with the Living God, but he too had passed. Diminished, Vivec explained that he would soon be mortal again. He answered many questions and then pronounced me the Protector of Morrowind.
Finally, he reminded me, "There is much to do."

Today I had a wealth of luck. I ran into my first 'wild' werewolf, having never seen one before outside the bloodmoon main quest. This in itself was pretty fortunate, but even better, I got to see the transformation! There was a flash of light and the berserker poofed into a werewolf. :)
The only unfortunate part of this event was that the werewolf was quite strong compared to my character at the moment, and I ended up having to reload a save from quite a while back. This sighting was worth it, though!

Edwinna gave Packrat (Breton, dagger wielder) the Blueprint Quest, Dwemer ruin, Mzuleft, South West of Dagon Fel far to the North.

He headed there with high spirits which were immediately dashed, stepped in unsure if the people inside were friendly, like in the Journal quest. They weren't and the first guy he met squashed him ... so it was reload time and have weapon drawn and ready.

All and all it was brutal, Packrat in his chitgen armor and a standard short blade (used Bonded one time) against the Orcs, their heavy armor, plus war hammers/axes, one was a 110 lb monster hammer.

Packrat gulped health and endurance potions like crazy. And managed to survive by using stealth and pure luck. All the battles were one on one excepting the last against two gals at once ... dicey.

Managed to finish with only the initial reload.

When the battle was over Packrat was pooped and so am I!

After joining the Morag Tong, i did a few writs. After, i got one that involved going to the island of Dagon Fel, and searching for a place called "Shara" (or Shoro, i cant tell the o's from the a's.) After 5 hours non-stop of search time, i had still not found "Shara" on the small island that Dagon Fell/Mzuleft Ruin's are on. So i called it a day and turned off the game. Then this morning, i spent another hour looking. Still didn't find it, i've lost all hope OF finding it.
