What did you name your character ?

I did some thinking and I noticed some characters in Fallout 3, mainly President Eden and a few others, had some pretty cool names. So I decided on naming my character after John B. Anderson ( real person) just to be sort of creative. So, I named him John Anderson. I even tried to make my character look a little like James ( the father you chase after). Come to think of it. If Jame's last name were Anderson, than it would either seem he was a professional football or basket player.

Anyway, I liked the name a lot so I decided to go with it.

I figured it'd be cool for a hero of the waste land to have a name like that. Not sure if Anderson would have fit the father you're chasing after. But I did it mainly for my own sort of unique role play.

In pretty much any game that I have the choice of which gender to play, I will choose Daphne for my character's name. It stems from the character named Daphne Moon on the sitcom Frasier. I think the first time I used it was in Icewind Dale (using the "frost" version of Iomen, which was the first character that could join you in Baldur's Gate). I chose male in the Baldur's Gate games as the character could be imported through all the games in the series, and I wanted the romance with Jaheira, but for most games where a female is a viable option, Daphne is the go-to name for me. Titan Quest, Oblivion, Fallout series, etc, all Daphne.;)

Now, if I have to have a male character (Two Worlds, for example, but I can't remember if you could even choose a name, or if it was the same name for everyone) I usually choose Shadow or Shadowshiv (a weapon from Bard's Tale 3).

Nothing really spectacular, but I like it.:)
