I personally rather liked that you could stumble upon dad in Fallout 3, and how it changed dialog with Li a little bit.
Was slightly disappointed that nothing changed if I bypassed the beginning of NV by snaking past the deathclaws.

I think that workshop is a player owned building of sorts. It's full of useful tools and stuff that the player would take (like the bobblehead and the giant comic book collection) as well as the minigun beneath the tarp on the left, some ammo boxes, and a flamer fuel tank on the toolboard? And the mounted armor is something the player can rest on those hooks to repair it (maybe getting power armor in this game is like getting the HK-47 parts in KoTOR ?). The dog in the trailer followed the scent to that workshop where the player character was heading so I this is a likely possibility.
I think my favorite part was how the dog just walked into the house without a loading screen. I'm cool with the big cities having loading screen barriers, but having some of the smaller, uninhabited houses just open to the world was something I was hoping for.
Did anyone notice that there is a bank under the Constitution? Could there be another money system other than caps?
This would make a lot of sense, how many bottlecaps can one man carry on his person! That coupled with a player home or base would be greatly appreciated.
Is it me or do the graphics look better the longer the video goes ? Especially the bits in the end look awesome
I think the graphics look better each time I watch the trailer. Besides, what data(?) Bethesda saves with reduced graphics they use to better populate the world and create better immersion.
I noticed boston deathclaws must be a big fan of lifting seriously look at that thing it doesn't even need its claws it can probably punch a man so hard there skeleton flys out of there back.
I don't like the look of those Deathclaws. No, sir, not one bit!
I noticed somewhere in the trailer it said GNN, meaning Galaxy News Network. Perhaps Three Dog will return? I sure hope so!
That's probably a Deathclaw Alpha (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Deathclaw_%28Fallout:_New_Vegas%29#Deathclaw_alpha_male). Notice the huge long horns and spikes on it's back. Plus, it's [censored] huge, just compare it to the car to it's left.
your just saying that because your afraid ones gonna chuck a car at you in game aren't you? (was supposed to quoute talonmerc but for some reason its not working oh well.)
As long as there are no http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/58606/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fnewvegas%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D58606%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D2730179&pUp=1, I'll manage.
Looks like you can get in helicopters and actually fight them this time. I'm hoping it's not only in cutscenes.
It looked very... "PC Base" to me as well.
I paused several times on the Power Armor. One can see the left side of the armor has the exoskeleton exposed while the right side is fully plated. I'm not familiar with KoTOR but maybe the PC has to start with the body suit ( forget what it's called ), gain knowledge / training to recover parts and assemble the armor over time.
Are you saying fight the helicopters or fight from the helicopters?
Im thinking after you get faction rep or progress far enough in the game, you can have the Vertibird move you from place to place to "quick travel". Maybe not fully replace fast travel but you wouldnt have to walk all the way.
Well, the trailer must be a good thing. It has over 5 millions views in one day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GE2BkLqMef4
First thing that struck me is the Fallout New Vegas tune at the end of the trailer. This made me optimistic about the game!!!
Also, I found it pretty funny when I saw that lisbian couple near the red car at 1:22.
Rise of the machine.
Saw a terminator hand on that mysterious strangers right hand @1:41.
Here's a link to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVMfiq4U4gA about the things they spotted in the trailer. Some interesting food for thought, even if they are jumping to conclusions as much as some other people around here.
After watching the trailer over and over... the things that immediately come to mind:
The Power Noodles store with the pretty red awnings.
I also feel that the city looks more advanced than the rubble of DC... like it should after 200 years.
The Deathclaw! OMG... it looks bigger and badder than ever... I'm so scared! LOL
Hordes of ghouls I can't stand those *shudders*
An airship and a Vertibird... can we climb on board and actually see the Wasteland from above?
