Today in Morrowind I stole everything from Fort Pelagiad and the guard towel and sold it right back to the town for a decent profit. :celebration: I also empied the chest in the corner of the general store. What I couldn't sell back to pelagiad, I'll sell in Fort Moonmoth or Suran. Where ever I decide to go first. Ironicly I also joined the Imperial Cult! After joining I had a VERY lengthy conversation with the healer about the Nine Divines, diseases and character attributes.

Ordered Morrowind+Expansions on Ebay for ~4$. May get it in a week or so.
So I can reinstall with a disk that doesn't have a [censored] gouge in it.
And then I can get back to having fun in this thread.

Met a naked nord on the road northwest of Caldera and spent WAY too much time with him looking for his "witch". Walked right by her twice. Must have gotten into a dozen combats with him in tow. Finally talked to her, and heard her side of the story (R.I.P. naked nord, you will be forgotten). Reached second level. Delivered a message for an orc on the lam, and got a nice rock from him. Let Constance roam around the town for awhile, and got a nice rock from her. Gave her a couple bottles of Sujamma as a reward, and watched her get falling down drunk. Stocked up on bolts and arrows for my posse, and headed south for Balmora and destiny. Time to join the mage's guild.

Just got Morrowind for my computer. No more 360. I'm like a kid in a candy store.

Oh, you will be. Get mods. It will be sublime.

But take good care of your CD's. All of them.
You'll need to reinstall a few times because constant "mods in, mods out" kind of erodes. (Not the CD, but the game). But as you finalize the mods you use... You'll never be able to play vanilla again.

Oh man, I already have a dozen or more mods running right now... Constance and Beryl, with Julan when I find him, a neat library/hideout under Ghorak Manor, Better Bodies and Heads, Better Books, the Public Library, Books of Vvardenfell, MPP, MCP... 30+ fps, and there's alot of vanilla Morrowind I've never seen. Started poking around in the CS... Downloaded Morrowind from Steam, so I don't have any disks. I spent all of last weekend screwing around and reinstalling, devouring info on the net, but I think this mod list is a keeper for this playthrough. Gonna keep it simple. Really. I can keep it simple. I can... (I've already downloaded over a hundred mods).

I'm hooked, man. I'm a junkie.

Well, I don't know how steam-installed stuff works. Just... remember save a backup list of mods you use (the .ini lists them for you).

But yea, ain't it GREAT.

Today I chameleon-ed myself, walked into some random bandit cave, and sniped everyone with my longbow. No one ever saw me.

I started a new Monk character who has hand to hand as a major skill, so I spent a lot of time punching out rats and crabs around Seyda Neen and Balmora.

My new character spent the first couple of days doing some of the misc quests in Seyda Neen and between Caldera and Ald'ruhn, while hunting down the blades trainers. Now she has joined the thieves guild and is trying to steal Nerano's key, but methinks she needs to train a bit more first.

Edit: I did it! Without training...
I'm fond of my sly little wood-elf. :)

So, I'm at this island just east from Vos and I just gained a level (7 I think).
But somehow, all this time I have managed to avoid Dark Brotherhood assassins by not sleeping.
So, the game tells me "you should meditate on what you learned" and I decide, what the heck, let's sleep.
I haven't slept one hour and already I'm awakened by loud noise. So I spun around and see a familiar face that I was trying to avoid all this time (the assassin!).
First I slashed him with my dagger with paralyze 10 seconds. Then, I switch to another dagger and start hacking until paralyze wears off. Then I rinse and repeat.
Once he's dead, I decide to sleep again. And behold, I'm awakened by another loud noise! Yep, it's another assassin! Boy, they had to be impatient all this time.
I can imagine them following me all this time and just going like: jeez, when will this guy go to bed?
I'm sad I haven't took the screenshot. In front of my feet are now two nice dead assassins lying next to each other. :P

I spent most of the day downloading mods for my new Daedric cultist guy, who im planning on starting tomorrow. I also made a half-orc guy who joined the legion but some conflict made the war cry effects permanent,so Im not going to play him again.

Bloodmoon? They freaked me out too. Between Oblivion's Gnarls, Dragon Age's Sylvians and this game's tree fairy things, I have a healthy fear of any plantlife.

Out of boredom, I added some smilies to make things interesting.

So. What did I do today? :spotted owl:

-Finally got around to fixing that bug in Herbalism for Purists. I had stopped pearl-diving for about a year due to the bug, so I finally said enough was enough and fixed it. Now I can sell those svckers properly. :D

-Took my Argonian lay member out for another spin, collecting ingredients and doing whatever the shrine sarge wants. I recovered the stolen chapel bowl, though getting in the hut was a problem since the shipmaster was staring at me the whole time :glare: , but with some smooth talking and a slick lockpick, I broke in, took the bowl, and robbed the lying cheat blind. Not very moral of me, but he deserved it.

-Went on another quest for the sarge about a ghost in Nedhelas's house. Since I do my best NOT to buy weapons (and because I'm not finding silver at level 2), I used one of my petty gems and tried to enchant my trusty iron spear with it. I settled for an absorb health 1-5pts for 1 second on strike, and decided to name it "Poke of Death" for no real reason. The game agreed with me and gave me success on the first try. This done, I proceeded to go into his basemant and take on a skeleton archer... who brought me down to 5-7 hp out of 40+. It was the only hit he got, thankfully, so I svcked down a standard restore health potion and liberated the skeleton of his frost arrows (steel, 0-7 frost points... no wonder they hurt so much at level 2!!). I poked the ghost to death and robbed the tomb, leaving the house untouched.

-On my way out of Caldera, I ran into a woman who complained about having her stuff stolen. Knowing full well that this was asking a lot out of a level 2 Argonian, I popped up my Dongle Ranger Tent, suited up (I only have 200 total weight available, so I can really only suit up when I set camp. This makes for some interesting Kagouti/nixhound encounters at low levels when I'm still carrying the tent...) and headed over the mountains. I went in with three potions. I used all of them. The orc required one. The guy with the club I think didn't require one (the archer seemed to have forgotten me. She never shot at me until later). The others (except the hidden archer and Dro himself, ironically) needed one too. My Argonian can hit the broadside of a barn. And that's about it, apparently. Regardless, I made it, and proceeded to the secret area. With some careful timing, I managed to jump over the three rocks and lava with an acrobatics of 8. Pleased, I continued onward, relying on careful, running jumps to reach treasure. Then came that one area where an enchanted helm, steel crossbow, bolts, enchanted bolt, and a potion  where, on an island that was impossible to get out of with my acrobatics. :stare: I reloaded to an earlier save (right in the previous room) and promptly boosted my acrobatics to 15 by breaking my Argonian's ankles and possibly a rib once or twice (ouch!). I got my treasure and touched lava once jumping on the wall like mad, but I made it. :celebration: I saved, rested, and moved on to run into the archer. Having finally defeated her and made it through the whole dungeon in one piece, and a lot richer, I proceeded to dance my victory dance :twirl: and collect my rewards in Caldera and Ebonheart.

Today has been a good day. :disguise:

Today I had a working thieving day. I went to the Caldera town, on visit to alchemist. And then I liberate some expensive stuff from her chest. But I was not careful enough when I unlocking chest. The guard saw me an I lost all my stock of Exclusive Restore Magicka and Health. Both ten units.

Then I came back again. Verry carefully now (I pressed Control button, when I unlocked next chest. And everything is OK now. Exclusive Restore Helath and Magicka was stil in my inventory now.

Well, this is not request for help. I just repporting, what funny things I've done. And advice for others. Be carefully at unlocking chest, especially if the guards in the room. Or put this stuff (ERH, ERM) on a safe place, before you go to unlock chests.

I did errands for the Mages Guild in a dark purple and black gown with a pure white, braided wig. Looks very nice on my dark elf. The errands were especially easy since she is really just scouting texture changes with 350 flying speed and 100% sanctuary, I do remove the epics for fights that matter but found my level 4 can not kill a steam centurion. I fell next to Andes Venu guy, hanging gardens my butt.

I prayed the gods for a forest, logged, came back, voila! forest.

My Nightblade (Altered custom) joined the thieves guild, the Telvanni, and the Morag Tong, Curretnly the little Dunmer known as Charon is pondering on how he can obtain a Morag Tong helmet, and is training in medium armor (for those tougher battles) And looking for a better sword.

On a none roleplaying point, Charon likes to permanent summon batches of skeletons, make them hostile, then make them do battle with other groups. :D

My new Telvanni has been doing chores for his superiors and before he becomes a mouth himself is going to finish all the mouth chores. He also found the mentors ring and joined the mages guild for the services.
