I ran from those tree/plant creatures. My character on the Xbox version of morrowind is level 30 something.
Bloodmoon? They freaked me out too. Between Oblivion's Gnarls, Dragon Age's Sylvians and this game's tree fairy things, I have a healthy fear of any plantlife.
Out of boredom, I added some smilies to make things interesting.
So. What did I do today? :spotted owl:
-Finally got around to fixing that bug in Herbalism for Purists. I had stopped pearl-diving for about a year due to the bug, so I finally said enough was enough and fixed it. Now I can sell those svckers properly.
-Took my Argonian lay member out for another spin, collecting ingredients and doing whatever the shrine sarge wants. I recovered the stolen chapel bowl, though getting in the hut was a problem since the shipmaster was staring at me the whole time :glare: , but with some smooth talking and a slick lockpick, I broke in, took the bowl, and robbed the lying cheat blind. Not very moral of me, but he deserved it.
-Went on another quest for the sarge about a ghost in Nedhelas's house. Since I do my best NOT to buy weapons (and because I'm not finding silver at level 2), I used one of my petty gems and tried to enchant my trusty iron spear with it. I settled for an absorb health 1-5pts for 1 second on strike, and decided to name it "Poke of Death" for no real reason. The game agreed with me and gave me success on the first try.
This done, I proceeded to go into his basemant and take on a skeleton archer... who brought me down to 5-7 hp out of 40+. It was the only hit he got, thankfully, so I svcked down a standard restore health potion and liberated the skeleton of his frost arrows (steel, 0-7 frost points... no wonder they hurt so much at level 2!!). I poked the ghost to death and robbed the tomb, leaving the house untouched.
-On my way out of Caldera, I ran into a woman who complained about having her stuff stolen. Knowing full well that this was asking a lot out of a level 2 Argonian, I popped up my Dongle Ranger Tent, suited up (I only have 200 total weight available, so I can really only suit up when I set camp. This makes for some interesting Kagouti/nixhound encounters at low levels when I'm still carrying the tent...) and headed over the mountains. I went in with three potions. I used all of them. The orc required one. The guy with the club I think didn't require one (the archer seemed to have forgotten me. She never shot at me until later). The others (except the hidden archer and Dro himself, ironically) needed one too. My Argonian can hit the broadside of a barn. And that's about it, apparently. Regardless, I made it, and proceeded to the secret area. With some careful timing, I managed to jump over the three rocks and lava with an acrobatics of 8. Pleased, I continued onward, relying on careful, running jumps to reach treasure. Then came that one area where an enchanted helm, steel crossbow, bolts, enchanted bolt, and a potion  where, on an island that was impossible to get out of with my acrobatics. :stare: I reloaded to an earlier save (right in the previous room) and promptly boosted my acrobatics to 15 by breaking my Argonian's ankles and possibly a rib once or twice (ouch!). I got my treasure and touched lava once jumping on the wall like mad, but I made it. :celebration: I saved, rested, and moved on to run into the archer. Having finally defeated her and made it through the whole dungeon in one piece, and a lot richer, I proceeded to dance my victory dance :twirl: and collect my rewards in Caldera and Ebonheart.
Today has been a good day. :disguise:
