Wow Lizard, I really liked that (which is amazing since I would rather shop my foot off than read anything :banghead:) I think I might actually continue reading this one though haha!

Been hanging around Anvil, lately. Had some fun there. Went to the docks and hit on Timothee LaRouche, then discovered that as a master of acrobatics with 185 health, I can jump off Anvil's light house and only lose half my health. Also, there was an ogre that killed a guard outside, and then followed me right into Brina Cross Inn. Not smart. :flamethrower:

I installed the journal mod some time ago using the OMOD-archive option, but it kept crashing my game so I deactivated it. Yesterday I started a new adventure type character and thought it would be nice to keep a journal, so I manually installed the mod and now it works fine.
The new guy is a Breton named Rynthas and here is part of his first journal entry. (English is not my first language, so sorry for any bad grammar or spelling)

Day 2, Chorrol.

Well, my little trip to the Imperial City didn't really go as planned, hence the missing Day 1 in my journal.

I arrived yesterday on the Waterfront. I bought myself passage on a ship, cost me almost all my gold. Although the journey was long it wasn't all to unpleasant thanks to that cute Dark Elf crewmember on board. Pretty but a though girl and a sharp mouth on her to. At least she liked me enough to share her ale, another thing to help me tolerate the constant singing of the other crewmembers.

I decided to get a drink first thing of the boat, so I went looking for a nice tavern in the Imperial City. I remember finding one and I remember the nice cold ale they served, after that things get blurry.

I woke up this morning in a prison cell and it took a while for me to realize that thanks to that nice cold ale of last evening. I walked around that smelly cell to clear my head and remember what got me here and all I was able to dig out of my clouded brain was a fight with a High Elf. Something about him must have anoyed me from the start, they do tend to be arrogant bastards. I don't even remember the fight itself, but guards must have been called in because there I was, in prison.

They knocked me out I judged by the pain in my head, which was to sharp to be from ale alone and wasn't helped by the Dark Elf in the cell across. He kept taunting me, but I wasn't really listening, I was thinking on how to get out of there.

Phoss everytime I read a caramilla post it adds wonderful new sights to familiar places.

I'm glad to hear it! I'm just experiencing them all for the first time and I'm trying to tie some personal feelings to all the places I go so Camarilla will either want to come back there or not. It's all part of where she decides to go and who to be and the people she meets on the way =). I think it's time Grace taught Morte a lesson, he seems to be getting a bit cheeky! =P

@Rofllizard: Thanks man, I'm glad you like it. I think I'm writing more for me than for anyone to read it, as it really adds flavor to my game and personality to Camarilla. I'm glad Tetsu and Mazoga finally got each other! Is their story over??

Well, the stories focusing on their romance are most likely, for now at least, I will continue to write Tetsu's stories which include Mazoga, if I don't get too caught up with Nakuma, that is :P

Can the Orb (you) make funny wise-cracking comments? I think that would really add to the story, having comic relief.

I will post any weird moments we come across, which there have been some.
And here comes part 2 of Nakuma's story.

I awoke the next morning, quickly grabbing my clothing, and talked with RoflLizard. "Good morning, spiritual orb person, how did you sleep?"
"Pretty good. SO today, I get to follow you to Bravil right? Alright, lets go!" So Down the stairs I went, stopping to buy some drinks for later. As I opened the gate to Cheydinhal, I saw some Outlaws plotting the perfect time to attack, however the guard was alert, limiting their options. "So, they are supoosivly smart, right? Well, then why are they all swarming this storng guard, and letting us just walk by? I mean you hold a nice shiny orb of pure badassorrey"(This might not be spelled correctly, RoflLizard speaks in a way I can understand, yet at times, he mixes strange words in..)
"Well, hey, if they swarm the guard who know... Oh look, they are all dead.. Well, have a nice day, guard." The guard waved. As I walked to speak with the Rancher I saw at Cheydinhal's stables, I see an outlaw charge at her, hell bent on striking her with his mighty axe. In a split second, I draw my bow and Nock an arrow, and right as I fire the fatal shot, his poisoned axe struck the flesh of the Dunmer. "Don't feel bad, Nakuma, his axe was weak, it couldn't of fatally wounded her, it had a strange green glow to it however. So go be a heroic person, and help her up!" I shook my head, and proceeded to help her, only to find that she had written a note, and told me, "Go into the building, my friend in there can give you ownership of my horse, I won't be needing him any..." And her life force extinguished mid speech. I handed the stable keeper the note, and he thanked me for trying to save her life.

As I saddled up, I made a small adjustment to the Saddle, a spot for RoflLizard to see the world as we rode on. "Hey, is it just me or is that wolf trailing us, look he even leaped off that big old hill to get us, oh crap he's gonna land right in front of us.. Well, ok he did, but he died.." RoflLizard then proceeded to laugh, and this isn't the only time the wolves have been less than successful in landing their leaps. Eventually, we reached Bravil. "You called THIS place home, and not that nice town in which we got a free horse?"
"Shut up, Bravil has nice simple charms, now lets go to my house, it is barren, but a nice spot to unload these pelts, and my comfy bed will be nice. and you can sleep on the table. I'll be sure to put the curtain up.."
"Oh come on, I only peeked at you that one time. I have respect for you, and besides, These Elves, they got it going on." I sighed, "Alright, you have a point. If I laid you on the bed, would you feel more comfortable, or what. How does this even work?"
"Glad you asked. Much like how you populate a world called Nirn, I inhabit a planet named Earth. My world is boring, compared to Nirn. I am actually not in your world, I just project my image, through this Crystal Ball. Should this ball shatter, then you and I will be unable to reestablish a connection, until you or another enchants a Crystal ball like this one. You can throw me in that fire, and I would be fine. I am trying to work on a way to be transported into your realm, but still able to be able to phase between the two worlds. But, that is ahead of our technology, and most definitely beyond that of the Dwemer, Or so I would think." I dozed off during this boring speech.

I woke up at around 6 am the next day. "Morning, Nakuma! I have managed to do something cool! You can see my world through an enchanted crystal sculpture thing sitting on my Desk. But I am not quite sure how safe it is. Wanna try it?" I shook my head, "RoflLizard, That sounds awesome and all. But I need to do some hunting. Tag along with me, or withdrawl into your ball. Eitherway I'm not going anywhere until I get me some wolf meat."
"Fair enough, Let's go onwards to the forests!" I ate a good breakfast,a dn saw RoflLizard drink out of a strange blue container, I couldn't make out the writing on the container, only 'Pe'. Perhaps some Earth being drug, like skooma?" The morning was a great one, I then remember I haven't bathed since before I entered Cheydinhal. Scouting out a safe location to strip down, and hide RoflLizard within my pack, I take a swim, with my bow strapped on my back, nothing like trying to kill Mudcrabs underwater. Slow critters, and tasty meat. I surfaced 25 minutes later. Getting my clothes on, and letting RoflLizard(I need to abbreviate his name...) out of the sack, we prowled the forest. A few lone wolves, nothing I haven't killed before. Eating a tasty meal of Wolf meat at noon, I see a Barbarian Shaman. Accedientally revealing my position, the usually hostile Barbarian ignored me. "Wait what, don't barbarians in Nirn kill anyone they deem not worthy?" RoflLizard seemed to nitpick a lot of happenings in my world...

Shooting an arrow into the Barbarian's neck, we further sought wolves. But what we saw next, we didn't want to see.. Two Lesser Hill Giants. Terrifying beasts. "Ok, Rofl, be quiet... These guys see me, I am dead."
"Now now, I wouldn't let you down, would I?" I still wonder if he meant that to this day. Sneaking by, I deliver two arrows, shot from the shadows of the night, into the Hill giants. The two didn't go down so easy. As I defeated one, his friend now charges at me, when all the sudden, a similar voice spoke. "Is there a problem, Citizen?" A forester had come along, and killed the second Giant. I thanked him, and headed back to Bravil. Seeing RoflLizard's realm could be cool. Well, Looks like I need to camp out here, Rofl is telling me that it is Midnight in Nirn.

Gregreo decided to investigate the Shivering Isles rumors. His dear wife wasn't at all happy about it, believing that Gregreo would get himself killed (She knows he has the tendency to run into fights without thinking and knows that this has nearly cost him his life a time or two). Gregreo assured her, gave her a gentle peck on the forehead and left with a butt load of supplies, mostly to appease her:

300 Repair Hammers
300 Potions of Healing
Skeleton Key
At least two swords
300 torches.

After entering the gate and talking with Haskill, Gregreo journyed to Passwall. He mused at how this looked oddly similar to the sketches of the Morrowind landscape he had in his home. The citizens were all odd. Some were jittery, looking this way and that as if expecting some horrible event. Others walked without their shirt without a care in the world. One Dark Elf was desperatly scrubbing his hands with a potion, muttering something about diseases.

His little stroll was halted when his eyes saw the most massive, most fearesome beast ever fighting a group of unknown adventurers. His mouth went dry. If it stood side by side with Dagon, it could probably be up to Dagon's knee.

"That's the Gatekeeper." one of the citizens told him. "He keeps people out of the main Shivering Isles."

Gregreo whirled around to see a young Redguard lad, perhaps fourteen staring at him. Gregreo blinked. Was this a Redguard? The facial features were so Imperial, yet the skin was brown like a Redguard. Maybe the boy had a Redguard for a parent.

"I see..." Gregreo muttered, wincing as the adventuers were squashed one by one. What a way to start an adventure. Be horrifically killed before the fun part. "Is there a way to kill it?"

"Yes, except you'll need special arrows. Ice-Veins can help you there."

Gregreo felt the old urge to dismiss the advice. He could take down the Gatekeeper himself! He was a fighter. Just take out the sword and charge.

Or that's what Gregreo would have done earlier in life. Subconsiously, he placed his hand against his shirt, where the near-fatal scar from the Bruma battle was. Last time he did that, he barely made it with the help of Martin. Now, he would be on his own.

"Take me to Ice-Veins, please." Gregreo said.

"... And as soon as Gregreo finished his chit-chat, the young Redguard, already in snack attack mode, fired 4 daedric arrows of 'Send me to J?ttunheim' effect, where Gregreo is rumoured to spend his late days fighting the Ice Giants of Ymir - freezing to awesomeness, and like death, too..."

Somewhat anticlimatic.

Earlier today I read :http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1128798-my-big-rant-about-skimpy-female-characters/, which pissed me off, cause who the f*** can accept a world where cat people and lizard people exist but skimpy armors can't work as well as plate mail?. So since the thread got closed before I could respond I wrote this in response instead:

I hadn’t been back in IC for long before Methredhel came knocking on my door. The beggars truly are the eyes and ears of this city! She was cheerful and stayed for a while, telling me that she had also been accepted into the guild, and I told her of my journey. I gathered from what she was telling me that she and Armand had become somewhat of an item in my absence, which she later confirmed over a bottle of wine at the Float. Good for them. Hopefully the three of us can still hang out then.

I stayed around IC for a while, frequently visiting the arena and collecting items I could fence. I know it’s stealing, but I really only take little things from people who already have a lot, so I don’t feel bad about it.

If I was to be any kind of help in the fighter’s guild I’d have to work on my skills. Owyn at the Arena is a bit of a bastard, but he is good at what he does and he is paying close attention to my training and has softened up a bit around me. He doesn’t call me pit dog and sewer scum anymore, not after our first meeting he doesn’t. He now refers to me as ‘Myrmidon’, cause I beat up a few people in the Arena. People have started recognizing me on the street and I guess the fighter’s guild noticed as well, cause after one of my fights I was met by a representative of the guild accompanied by a bard:

“Miss Camarilla, may I have a word with you?”

“Sure, let me just get out of this bloody armor.”

“Hrem…I will avert my eyes momentarily.”

“Oh, yeah, thanks.”

“……..My name is Viranus Donton. I’m with the public relations department of the Fighter’s Guild in Chorrol. As you may have heard on the street we are looking to recruit new members, but unfortunately the volunteers are few and far between. My moth…erh, the Guild Master that is, thought it would be a good idea for us to try and attract some attention by posting an article about one of our members in the next copy of the Black Horse Courier. So as to give some insight into what we do and who we are, you see. Seeing as how you have recently joined, are doing quite well for yourself, and also have some…how shall I put it…appeal to our target group, we thought you would be an interesting profile.”

“I see. So, what am I supposed to do?”

“Well, here is what I have in mind: The article will be called ‘The Beauty and The Brute’ and is intended to give prospective applicants the impression that we are not only for big brutish fighters, but also have sophisticated members of the fairer six. As some would call you…I have brought the guild bard who will do some drawings of you in ‘in action’ and ‘in casual’ to show both the brutish and the beauty side of you. It will be accompanied by a well written article about your latest accomplishments since joining the guild, of course weighed against how miserable your life was prior to joining.”

“…ooook…so what’s in it for me?”

“Well, we thought that we would offer you a free pass. Basically a lifetime membership of the guild without having to actually do any work for the guild. Should you decide that you do want to take some jobs, that’s fine of course. We would require, though, that you be available for further publicity promotions, perhaps Arena posters and such, whichever we may come up with in the future. I’ve actually been working on starting up our own monthly magazine. My current working title is ‘Babes and Blades’…..it may need a little work, though. But you could be asked to feature for a front page or center fold pose.”

“You have a deal, mister! Let me go home and freshen up, and you can meet me there in an hour?”

“Very good, we’ll get started on the article right away. Oh, I almost forgot! I brought this armor and this ‘casual’ outfit we thought would suit you. Please try those on, and we’ll get the drawings made.”

I did some poses for the artist on the beach behind my house, and I swear the entire population of the waterfront must have been there to watch. It was fun, and afterwards we retreated to my house for some 'homely poses' as they called it. They seemed rather happy with the results, and it was a good deal for me. I've kept the copy of the Black Horse Courier with the pictures in it:

Short tale, of a new character Idea I had done, but he died in the arena, I wasn't gonna make him a Story worthy character, but then he died, so I figured why not.

I am Dread Weave. I am a Daedra, yes, but I defected from the forces of Mehrunes Dagon, as their assault on Kvatch began. Running off, I hid in Anvil. The people there shunned me, and for good reason. I decided, Maybe they can leave me alone, if I shut that damned Gate to Oblivion, after all, It was my home. Knowing the stores would rather deal with a bloodthirsty vampire Khajiit on 20 bottles of skooma than me, I had to kill the Dunmer who ran the armor shop. Gearing up in Iron Plate wear, and Taking an Iron Warhammer, I edged on to Kvatch. I know why Dagon was there. I could care less, but he would not loosen up the attack until he either got what he desired, or that gate was shut. I stop in a cave, full of Jaguars. Killing them, and preparing their meat for a last meal, in case my trip went south. One Jaguar set himself apart. He was a tough fight, like a young Wyvern from my homelands. But after he fell, I saw treasures, somehow the beast collected a fair set of armor. An Elven Warhammer was the only worthy prize. I left with a few Scars form my encounter.

It was a nice journey,e xcept for the raiders and smugglers who dared ge tin my way. Scavenging the magical gear they had, I had a better set of armor than that I have stolen. Then there was the camp. A crazy Altmer, or so I think it was an Altmer, too many elves on Nirn to be sure though, anyway, he told me what I knew. Kvatch, Daedra, Gods blood, and what not. He was irratating, so I smashed him underneath my new hammer. Running up the the Gate, The guard captain yelled at me, thinking I was the enemy, but when I told him I can close the gate, he gave me the blessing of Akatosh. Seeing a few weak Daeda, I put the hammer to the test much more than I did on those weaker beings. They died with ease. Seems someone knew why I came back, shame. Luckily I mastered the art of climbing in my youth. After fighting some others like me and their clannfears, I climbed up to one of the secondary towers, knowing that this particular gate took extra security concerning the Sigil Stone. A quick blow to the lesser Dremora's skull killed it with ease. This caged moron told me what I knew, take the sigil stone, gate goes bye bye.

Some Dremora later, I stood in the Sigil Keep. I placed my hand out,t ook the stone. One thought ran through my mind, right as the room was starting to act bizzare. Would I be trapped in here, due to my Daedric nature? Bracing for the worst, I see the Guardsmen cheer. I guess my intentions had allowed me to survive on Nirn. And as they cheered, an Escaped Wyvern swooped down, killing the guards. After a leaping blow, with my new Ebony Warhammer, I smash the skull of the Wyvern with ease. The imperial watch then proceeds to run up, and see the dead guards, and a bloodied warhammer in my hands. Off to jail in the Imperial City I went. After serving my time, I left the prison. Many days passed, people shunned my existance, ridiculed me, so I eventually snapped. Killing those who tormented me. Again, I ended up in jail, and a Redguard visited me in jail. His name was Owyn, I think so atleast. He told me he would pay my bounty, if I became an Arena fighter. I guess I killed with enough skill to be a worthy fighter.

Owyn calle dme a pit dog, lowest of the low. I did not really care, I got to kill for the sheer thrill. Many matches came, promotions came and went. The fighters got slowly tougher. I still slayed them. Until the Warrior rank. The Imperial knew her way with the blade. As I swung with my trusted Ebony Warhammer, She blocked the hits with perfect timing, not even feeling the recoil. She struck me a few great hits, I drank potions I came across in Oblivion. Nothing helped. I could feel the blood and life slip away from me, I managed to hell her one task, before she laid the final blow. "Close..any oblivion gates you come across, your skills can save..Nirn..." My life had finally ended, on the sands where I killed many.

Rayles, my Dunmer Spellsword, managed to destroy Umaril the Unfeathered and save Cyrodill from an evil tyrant...but this pales in comparison to the wicked conspiracy he uncovered next. Apparently every wolf in Tamriel is plotting to kill his beloved armored horse, a gift from Prior Maborel. Worse yet, they've enlisted the help of bandits, marauders, necromancers, sorcerers, daedra, monsters and creatures of all kinds. It's potentially the most far reaching and profound assassination plot ever uncovered. Rayles knows too much, and yet they continue to ignore him and wail on his horse incessantly. Could this humble horse hold the key to Tamriel's future? Just what is its origin and powers? Alas, we cannot ask the late Prior Maborel these questions. The Mythic Dawn struck him down in cold blood. It's obvious they're working for the wolves. Apparently he refused to tell what he knew so they bashed his head in. The plot continues to develop.

Although I had had a good time lately with Methredhel and Armand and my progression through the ranks at the Arena was going well, I was starting to feel a bit restless. The only new thing I had experienced lately was hunting for Slaughterfish to help out an old fisherman. I positvely HATE Slaughterfish, they scare the daylights out of me, looming down there in the dark. After learning about them, I'm now wary of entering the lake at night. Some of them are gargantuan, bigger than my house! It was definitely time to put on the hiking boots and venture out for a change of scenery.

I was on my way home from making some final purchases for my trip at Thoronir's, when I was approached by a Dunmer named Ralso. She had a message for me from a guy called Seridur, an Altmer as it were. When I got to his house I was welcomed by him and his friends, who had little club called 'The Order of Virtuous Blood.' Very dramatic, as were the members. They told me they had watched me at the Arena, and proceeded to enlighten me on a vampire problem which seemed to plague the city. Apparently Seridur's neighbor, a man named Roland, had exposed himself as one when he was caught taking a bite out of his girlfriend, and had then fled town. The Order wanted me to track him down and kill him in his countryside cottage. Sounded simple enough, aside from the small fact that I had never fought a vampire before. However, it was a good excuse to get out of town, and since I didn't really have any specific destination in mind, this would do for a start. I was told to bring my silver sword, as that would be needed to slay the vampire. I had heard rumors of a vampire slayer in Bruma on my last trip there. Apparently he had killed one there, so maybe he could share some tips with me as well.

As the cabin was on the way to Bruma, I brought my hot loot to fence to Ongar. This could turn out to be a profitable little trip, although I was a bit concerned with the whole vampire thing. When I got to Roland's cabin I approached slowly and entered. There he was...looking remarkably like a regular man. We started talking, and as he told me his story I found it less and less likely that he was a vampire. He told me he was being framed by Seridur who was the actual vampire. This was getting too complicated for me, but I agreed to investigate further and advised Roland to stay put if he wanted to live. I was kinda glad I didn't have to fight a vampire. Now I would have a chance to speak to the slayer in Bruma first. Just in case he was a vampire and I needed to slay him later, I grabbed a diamond off of his table as I left. He wouldn't need that.

Arriving in Bruma I first unloaded my goods at Ongar's for a nice little profit. Pure profit. I then asked around, but had no luck locating the slayer. I did take a look at the poor guy's house who he had killed. The wife was distraught, obviously, and no one in town seemed to have been suspicious of this guy. They all liked him. Maybe the slayer had been wrong?

Not making any progress on the vampire issue, I went to Olav's for a good solid Nordic stew and a mug of mead. As I was eating, a representative from the Countess entered the inn and sat down at my table. My surprise at his lack of manners somewhat paled in comparison to my surprise at being told that Countess had requested my presence and granted me audience to discuss a pressing matter she wanted my help with.

Meeting the Countess was a very intimidating experience. I'm not at all used to being around nobility, and I think my poor attempts at proper court manners must have amused her. She was good about making me feel at ease, though, and we soon pvssyd in a more common tone. She's an archolo..archeoli...arkolilogical...she's a big buff on old stuff! She collects Akaviri artifacts, but one item had eluded her collection. Little was known of its whereabouts and the trail was centuries cold and buried somewhere under the unforgiving snowy Jerall Mountains. With the Fall making its presence known in IC, the effect was even more obvious way up here. And she wanted me to go treasure hunting in knee deep snow where locals had failed! She claimed the reward would equal the dangers and handed me some old diaries and maps. I guess she took my stunned look as a "Yes".

Going through my equipment with one of the Countess' scouts it dawned on me what I had just agreed to do. I'm going into the unforgiving mountains at the worst time of the year, with no experience, hunting a trail which has been cold for centuries, possibly encountering monster unknown to man, according to the diary, in search of a lost artifact buried deep in a forgotten fort, most likely infested with whatever lives up here since it's been abandoned for centuries. Looking at what the scout referred to as 'snow shoes' I visualized myself buried to the neck in snow, surrounded by giant furry monsters with big clubs...maybe I should have gone to Bravil instead.

The scout mimicked my look and gave me an encouraging pat on the back and a laugh. I wished the bastard was coming with me. As he ushered me out of the gate and closed it behind me, the howling wind wasted no time in telling me how alone I was, as it was biting at my exposed skin. I already longed for a warm embrace in a warm bed.

@ Count Lauriel: Thanks a bunch, I promise the adventures will continue!!

I'm not really writing a journal as such, just keeping up with whatever happens as the game goes along. I didn't think of doing this until someone started this thread, but now I'm enjoying it and Camarilla is growing on me with every new adventure. I'm really reliving very old adventures as Camarilla is a ~17 year old fantasy RPG character of mine I've revived for the sole purpose of playing Oblivion. I just apply her personality to whatever happens in Cyrodiil, the way she interacts with people etc.. She's still the same old hot headed farm girl with a big mouth and a careless outlook on life =)

More Morte pix! More Morte pix! More Morte pix!

Or another sequence of Camarila in thongs, that's always good too.

I hate to say this, but I can't continue Tetsu or Nakuma's stories.
My game decided to get messed up, to the point where a reinstall was the only fix. CTDs doing little things and the such, And when I tried to load them afterwards, their saves wouldn't load.

I guess I could just say that Tetsu and Mazoga gave up their fighting lifestyles, and settled down in Skingrad.

I might recreate characters similar to Tetsu, but not an exact recreation. And Nakuma, well I didn't get that far with her, so I might reuse the Orb idea on a new character.

@ pdesbois: More pics will probably find their way in the future =)

Rofllizard: Noooo, horrible crash! I've decided not to install any further mods as my system is already unstable and crashes on exit and after a long time of gaming (low memory probably). I hope you get it up and running and get back to writing soon!

I have the gam eup and running again, but my previous saves relied on a whole bunch of crap I got from a friend when I first got the game, so I can't use them again.
But this just gives me more reasons to think of a good character, and make saves that just use my must have mods.(OOO and MMM mostly.)

EDIT:Post 200, almost time for the second thread to be made. Never thought this thread would be so successful.
