What did your Character do today?

Post » Mon Aug 23, 2010 1:43 pm

Gregreo just bought some more potions and decorated the house.

Yeah, he's having the life of a hero all right. >___> I might just have him get addicted to skooma.

Don't do it, Gregreo! It's not worth throwing your marriage away for!

Lirielle got re-made today as I keep changing my mind about how to level.
I'm thinking she'll have Restoration, Mysticism and Alteration as her majors and only use those. That way she won't level stupid fast (restoration is slow and she won't use the other two THAT much). Thus allowing her to use illusion and conjuration freely, along with slow levelling restoration.

Well, Teskinah had a couple of interesting days.
She lost her great friend J'jynx to a pack of wild wolves, after a conjurer encounter left the two weary. She managed to defeat the few wolves, and she ehard J'jynx tell her to take his Kavatch Curiass to protect her on her way to Chorrol, and her Pilgrimage. As she journeyed in the wilderness with her sorrow, she had thought things over. "If I was a better fighter, I could of saved him, or if I wasn't so lazy in keeping up with my restoration training, I could of healed his wounds." She then decided, to practice her skills with a Sword, and her magical knowledge of Restoration and Illusion. She make the trek to Chorrol, where she picks up an Iron Longsword, and she then journeys towards Bruma, dispatching Wolves to get more skill in her swordsmanship. There, she seeks the Mages guild to assist her in magical training. After joining, she departs back to the Imperial City. She had a terrible dream a night before her journey started, which has started to reoccur. It was the Prison sewers, a red jewel shines from the body of a rat. On the way, She sees a Marauder camp attacking Travelers, she worked with the Imperial Legion to clean up the camp. And then after more traveling, she arrives to what she called "Her Destiny" at the sewer exit. Once she ventures inside, using her Illusion skills, she lights up the corridor, noticing the same gleam. This mysterious Amulet would not go on her neck, so she takes it to the Merchant's inn, and when she slumbers, she dreams of the Late Emperor telling her, "Take the amulet you found, to Jaufree in Chorrol."

"Drop that dagger!" The guard's command cracked like a whip across the quiet morning air, as his hand sought the grip of a long sword. My heart jumped to my throat. City Swimmer was attempting to resist arrest! What was she thinking?

She lunged clumsily.

With experienced precision, the guard deflected the dagger with a left sweep of his shield. Steel sang from scabbard as he stepped back to negate City Swimmer's short range, and optimize the reach of his long sword. The guard then stepped two paces to his left, placing the sun directly in City Swimmer's eyes and thundered, "Drop it! I won't tell you again."

My tea cup rolling on the porch, I was half way across the bridge that spanned the river between us by the time she lunged at the guard again.

Another left sweep of his shield deftly brushed the dagger aside as the guard stepped back. He raised his blade, which brought City Swimmer's dagger and free hand up to block her face and neck. His feint having worked, the professional soldier instantly dropped his weapon to waist level and, at precisely the correct range for his long sword, slashed horizontally.

The tip of his blade arced unopposed below City Swimmer's raised hands and ripped through the scales of her abdomen. It was over as suddenly as it had begun.

The dagger fell from City Swimmer's hand as she clutched her midsection and collapsed.

I slid to a stop on my knees next to her and screamed at the guard. "What did you do!?!"

"City Swimmer, can you hear me?" I pleaded. Blood was pumping from her gaping wound. I ripped off my blouse and pressed it against her in an effort to stop the bleeding. "You'll be ok, my friend," I lied.

Today I killed a mage in the process of becoming a lich and wiped out the entire Draconis bloodline. After that I went to my Imperial City Hovel and decorated it with the various skulls and bones I had found in my travels to and from my quests. I then had a human heart for dinner and pondered how easy it would be to take over the Imperial City and become the supreme ruler of all of Cyrodiil. :obliviongate:

My latest character brought the art of gunpowder and gambling into Cyrodiil. Oh what a criminal mastermind he will be... Infact, the thieves guild will be the first quest line he finishes, and he will turn it into the mob! Oh he will be the best mob boss Cyrodiil will ever see! He'd be on top of the Skooma trade, Shoot up stores, Strike fear into the hearts of Cyrodiilians, and he'll be a fun character. And he'll be - :obliviongate:

Well Anna grew bored with my attempts to improve her new found world, but loved that she could now sustain her infernal appetites for flesh and mind altering substances.

So she finally set off on her endless conquest of all things base, instinctual and impulsive.
Heading up from the wreacthedness that is being shackled in trap filled dungeon meant to keep her from expressing her true disires by some less than wholesome mage no doubt..
She approached the rather small city presuming it to be no more than a place to partake in vices and feast on flesh, when she caught a vile stench on the horizen.

Seeking it out she found a beast of pure tender muscle with a wretched smell of manure, sweet and underneath that raw meat,.
Thinking "aye a'right then" she pounced striking at the beasts rending their flesh under her talons...
When a pathetic berk, and some barmy hardhead leaped upon her with weapons bared, "watch'a think yer doin' then" she growled throwing them to the ground and breaking their spines in two, fleeing from the scene before more arvived.
http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g376/Indep/Oblivion2010-10-0405-42-00-19.jpg

Next she came to an inn in a small rural hamlet, snapping at and even bitting a local berk for approaching her, she headed into the dark tavern thinking "more like it" and planning on drinking.
A scream broke through this thought, some strange tongue but she knew what it meant the Harmonium..
He drew his sword with his free hand, unable to put down the tankard bearing his service crest, which gave Anna the chance to slam booth fists down on his skull crashing the helmet into bone concusing him.
Allowing her to slit his throat in one motion with his own blade with a smirk.
She laughed and took the tankard "Gotta plan fer thisey I 'ave", and appraoched the strangely ugly creature behind the counter expecting to hear rebuses spout forth.
Instead she managed to get across the point through that tongue again that every drink here was now hers.

On the way out, some foul drunks body language suggested that he had "something for her" so she thrashed him to the ground with flailing limbs, but some strange force in this new plane prevented the killing blow, which caused the anger to boil afresh.
Walking along up sprouted some strange annoying elf, trying to shoot her, she rushed forward and yanked the heart from his cheast, "got it" she yelped the plan was afoot.

She rushed towards the direction of where they probably imprisoned her seeking to vent the unyielding rage she feels, apon entering alarms sounded.
The combat was intense but she preveiled against odds and slaughtered the garrison.
http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g376/Indep/Oblivion2010-10-0405-19-52-06.jpg

So finnaly she entered the inner sanctum of the cage that held her, and left a personnal calling card to anyone and everyone..
By hosting a banquet of remains and spirits with a legonaires cup and leaving the trophy behind in full view of any hardheaded berk that seeks to mess with her.

Wow. Anna sounds like a badass! =)

Camarilla managed to hunt some deer and do a bit of skinny-dipping, and that was about it. Oh, she did kill a goblin as it surprised her while she was swimming outside the old fort. And then she spent a day wandering the countryside outside IC just looking at things and talking to the locals.

Day 47 after the Great Escape, Tezius found himself in that all too familiar after-haze of an all-nighter on skooma, in a completely unknown location. At first he thought he'd gone blind and lost all control of his limbs, but slowly and surely, as his senses returned to him, he realised he was stripped and chained up in a cave. Judging by the smell of it, he was probably somewhere in a sub-cave close to the sewers of the Imperial City. A Khajiit, dressed in leather and weilding a Mace which seemed just about the same size as the bruize in the back of his head, was sitting on a stool infront of a slowly burning fire. As the pain in the back of his head and the skooma-withdrawal took its toll, he found himself giving in to unconciousness once more...

Yep. Bad day for my mage Tezius. Wonder what happens tomorrow. :)

Krema was traveling to Leyawiin to help his fellow khajiit Ahdarji with her "problem", and noticed dead town guard, Imperial guard and Imperial marksman lying on the road. Closed in to investigate what's happened when Poooof! Got smashed with a warhammer into the head from the side. Dead immediately. Never ever seen the killer. :)

"Can you fill me in on what happened?" I asked.

Basil quickly relayed what he knew, which was little more than what Raminus had told me. He suggested I attempt to summon Meridia herself. Perhaps she would know the whereabouts of the necromancers. "To summon our Lady, you'll need some evidence of your disdain for the undead."

"I have some ectoplasm," I said hopefully. "Will that do?"

Basil nodded, but seemed a little taken aback. "Do you normally carry such things with you?"

"Well, sure," I said a little sheepishly. "For my hair. I combine it with rosemary oil and aloe vera for conditioning, glow dust for shine and some finely ground bergamot for a nice citrus scent."

The Breton ran a hand over the bald head that capped his tonsure. "I wouldn't know anything about that." His eyes then clouded, and he frowned. "Do you expect to summon a Daedra Lord by pouring some sort of hair glop at her feet?"

"Oh, no. I have some fresh samples I haven't mixed up yet." I planted the torch into the soft ground. Rummaging through my pack, I produced a portion of ectoplasm. After placing the offering on Meridia's pedestal, I stepped back. The peculiar accent of her echoing voice broke the dark silence.

"By the detritus of the profane, I am brought forth. . . ."

Gregreo and his DB murderer went to the Night Mother to seek her words one chilly night. The murderer was stationed behind Gregreo, looking out for any trouble.

What will I tell my wife? Gregreo heard himself mutter. He had lied to her about going shopping in Bravil. He knew she abhored the Dark Brotherhood, having lost her parents to them when she was only four.

"FOR LORD DAGON!!" someone cried. Gregreo and the murderer turned around to see a Mythic Dawn assassin charging them. Knowing that the Night Mother Crypt was in danger, they attacked him at once, but suddenly a mage apprentice that had been following Gregreo from a distance charged into the fray. Gregreo knew this young woman well. She was his wife's best friend. His heart pounded. Surely she'd not tell his wife that he served Sithis! But what if she did? He felt a horrible chill.

"Night Mother, I beg Your mercy!" the assassin cried. Gregreo gritted his teeth. Way to go revealing everything to this young woman.

The skirmish lasted for twenty minutes. Though Gregreo did the best he could to defend his companion and this mage girl, he was getting weaker and weaker. He did cnot plan to stay up all night only to have a horrific battle.

Suddenly, the assassin swung his mace right into the mage's chest, causing her to crumple in agony. Furious, Gregreo hacked at the assassin's leg, causing him to stagger. He then finished with a sword thrust into the assassin's throat before dropping the sword and rushing to her side.

"Internal injures, mace was poisoned. Nothing I can do." the mage put up a smile so grotesque because it was covered with blood. She coughed painfully, sending blood onto Gregreo's face. "To think I'd be defending the Dark B-Brotherhood..."

"Don't talk, miss. We'll get you home." Gregreo patted the side of her face. "We'll get you mended. I promise."

"What then?" she raised her eyebrows. "Y-you would have to kill me anyway. I know too much."

She gritted her teeth in agony. Gregreo looked at his archer. They both knew she was right. Either she died now or she dies in the future. The Dark Brotherhood's doctrines were absolute. He shuddered.

"Do you have a potion that will knock her out? She's dying and I'd like for her to not die like this."

"Certianly." the archer dug into his pocket and pulled out a small green vial.

Gregreo immediatly popped it open and poured it down the mage's throat. She took one last look at him.

"See you in Oblivion." she whispered. A final, shuddering breath, then all was quiet.

Benedikt the Drunk started off on his quest to Kvatch. A bandit came and tried to steal his horse. Ben headed into some scary ass forts (seriously, late at night in a dark room with headphones makes those forts hella terrifying!), where he killed a vampire matriarch (but not before contracting a certain illness). Then, it was back to the priory for him to pray. Took a little nap there and had his first leveling up! Headed back on the road to Kvatch in the sunrise.

Anna approached another weird city, this time it was due to the throbing stone giving her a headache hanging from around her neck.
As she closed with the gares, a shout rang out "another bloody hardhead again, are they psychic???" she cursed, preparing for the fight to come.
Once the inner town was cleared from interfearing harmonium officers she sought the seediest place to dink and tear the flesh of something, only to find it bereft of meat..
She slammed her fists down on the bar, shouted "where's the meat" at a quite ugly looking human that must have been the owner, still forgetting that no one could understand her she raised her voice.
"WHERE'S THE MEAT, WENCH" and grabbing as many bottles that she could see, when no edible food was forthcoming Anna stormed out and headed across the road.

The Hotel was empty apart from its owner, some bestial creatue much akin to a rakshasa " At last something familiar " she muttered.
The place was stacked with carnivorous supplies..So she settled down by the roasting fire quaffing and rending her meal.
After a fitted doze she was awoken by both the nice roasting pit sizzling her toes, and a small she had yet to sense so far here, something like kin.
Leaping up she rushed to a, A HUMAN?? grabing him she bellowed "who are you" spitting the words over his face.
The man terrified but almost understandable to her ears, yelled "Poor bored Fagen", defending herself from this man and other barmy townsfolk all she could think was " A Xoasect here?".

Thinking on this Anna strolled the streets, untill she came across heat blowing from under a door, going in she found it dark, humidly hot, smelling of charred wood and sulpher..
With a tang of naked sweaty flesh, "ahh just like me kip" she thought, the place had a large pool of water, with soap to clean her weary body and aching muscles.
After a long soak she was trying to get out the pool, when another one of those small annoying elf creatures blocked her path and stuck a bare behind into Anna's face.
"Thats it" she leaped ahead placed her foot on the offending object and shoved the creature back into the pool, where she held its head under untill it apologised.
During which she found an entrence into the mens baths, so she dived under and emerged surounded by three men.
She promptly threw bars of soap at them, and motioned them to pick the bars up, slapping each one forcefully as they did, before running out back to the Hotel.

Getting wasted she stripped off and started sneaking around town loudly yelling "SHHHH" as she picked bypassers pockets.
A tall sickly looking but again annoying elf took offense and cried foul, leading to an overlooked hardhead rushing forward, followed by an orc, a smith and the elf herself.
After many drunken misses naked floppy bit flailing, and serveral deaths the fight was over, leading Anna to grab the uniform from the corpse and continue sneaking naked to the castle.
In the hall she doned the uniform started parading around, and trying to sing vulger tunes, untill she grew bored stripped of again and took a small doze on the throne.
As she woke up she grew thirsty and hungry, heading to the side room seen earlier, she again found no meat, "censored ?????" she screamed, drinking the last of her supplies.
Still tired she snuck in the buff all the way to the best room in the castle, dispatching guards and servents along the way, where she found a n urn of ashes and a skull..
"Old gits, hubby" she thought looking at a older woman slepping, in anna's new bed, Anna shoved her off the bed ruffling through her pockets as she did so.
The women screamed and two hardheads baring cell keys and cuffs rushed in "Nah not this time" and dispatched them, grabing the skull in a stuper, she chased the old woman around with it.
Groaning "WHOoooo I'm back for you" as she did, growing bored she smacked the woman into a pillar and feeling strangly remorseful, headed to the prison cells.
Where she placed all the stolen items in a trunk with wierd writting on it, and bunked down on a matress till the morning.

Mortalle was sent to rescue the prince of Cheydinhal from an Oblivion gate. However, when a demora was pushed off a bridge and into the deadly lava lake below, the prince thought it was a good idea to press the fight and jump in after him. End of rescue.

LOL I hate when that happens.

Today, I accompanied Sal as he launched a bold solo strike on fort homestead. Shooting down heavily armoured marauders from the shadows, he crept through the corridors leaving death in his wake. Finding his way to the warlords lair, he ended up on a bridge, overlooking the area and giving him an excellent position for sniping. Applying poison to his arrows, he took down the archer and battlemage with a single arrow apiece, before nimbly hopping down from the bridge. Landing in a crouch, he crept forwards until the warlord was in sight, applied a more potent poison to his arrow, and waited for the moment to strike. As the warlord saw the bodies, he paused for a moment and reached for his sword. An arrow flew out of the darkness and pierced his armour before he completed the motion, the powerful poison flooding into his blood, but it was not enough to kill him. Sal readied a second arrow, and as the warlord charged towards him, fired it into his face, putting him down for good. He looted the bodies, finding nothing really of value save for a pair of armoured boots enchanted with a feather spell, which would fetch a good price in the imperial city.

With the marauders slain, Sal headed towards Bravil, but decided to stop for lunch when he stumbled across an amazing waterfall, which made for a spectacular http://img830.imageshack.us/img830/7997/oblivion201010061559417.jpg. After lunch he decided to call it a day and camp there tonight.

Ditto except I have school to go to instead of a job. Today my character plans on knocking out a few of the Arcane University Recommendations and doing a few more Arena fights since he has improved considerably since his last match.
