My character is exploring every Mine/Cave/Ruins/Forts that he comes across. I am playing again for 2 days since a few years or so. I am actually coming across things that i have never seen before. I also apreciate the ruins more now so i am taking full advantage of that mood :)

Sigrid finally got Tar-Meena to reveal the code in the Commentaries on Mysterium Xarxes, which Sigrid, who is pretty quick for a Nord, had already figured out. Her party went at noon to a particular tomb in the Palace district to find out that that it was on Imperial Daylight Time and, since she was on Skyrim Standard Time, she had to wait until 11AM the next day to see the map she'd previously noticed glowing on it when she'd passed it two days before on another errand. While she was waiting Stoker started to ask personal questions about their relationship and was told to wait until she wasn't trying to save the world. Vilja simply pvssyred constantly about goblins and mudcrabs which was actually refreshing.

Once Sigrid had seen the map she took her pair of companions to Cheydinhal to get their armor repaired and see about a recommendation from the local Mage's Guild. She decided to wait on that after a brief conversation with the rather obnoxious fellow, Falcar, and an equally brief and unpleasant encounter with his counterpart in the fighters guild she opted to postpone that mission as well and just go to Lake Arrius to find the Amulet. When they arrived, she told Stoker and Vilja to wait and guard the entrance. Then she went inside alone. Once in the hall, she was very grateful for her summon Vilja and Summon Stoker Spells as all Oblivion broke loose and she had to call for backup until she'd killed Harrow and retrieved her worldly goods. (That blade the creepy guy in the black robe had handed her at her bedside a couple of nights before had apparently been missed in Harrow's search, and proved most efficacious. So did the fireball she hit Raven Camoran with.)

Afterward she had to chide Vilja because her concept of "Standing guard" seemed to involve changing into her nightgown and reading a book. However, the dear girl was a still better fighter than Stoker--who is rapidly winning the "world's most annoying companion" award. And as for the Argonian sacrifice, even with three of us tailing him he didn't survive the first chamber of the Mythic Dawn Living Quarters.

Neither Jauffre nor Martin was happy about Mankar Cameron's escape with the Amulet of Kings, but I explained that even an attempt to pick his pocket for it had failed, though, oddly enough no one seemed to care if I tried even in plain sight. Giving them the actual Mysterium Xarxes itself compensated somewhat and may be invaluable.

Now, it's back to Cheydinhal for those Guild jobs, and to try and figure out local Guild Head she dislikes more.

A snip from Episode 98 of Buffy's Jounal:

* * *
The ranger returned her attention to the shadowy passage ahead. "To approach close enough to see the wraith will surrender our range advantage. Can you do something with your magic to perhaps coax our target into a killing zone?"

Recalling my bruised butt and wet greaves, I was more than a little motivated to prove my worth to Alawen. After a moment, I smiled and nodded. "Nock your arrow."

I visualized the spell sequence I would need, then raised a glowing fist. A skeleton formed from the lavender cloud I released in front of us. Another spell caused the summon to fearfully rattle down the long passageway toward the open hatch.

As soon as the wraith wailed his interest and engaged my bony helper, I evaporated the summon by casting a new one between Alawen and I - a scamp this time. As I hoped, the disappearance of my skeleton drew the suspicious wraith into the passageway.

Alawen's first arrow elicited a screech, and was immediately followed by a quiet twang from Slayer and a fireball from the scamp. The withering fire that ensued, caused the wraith to dance and jerk until it collapsed into a puddle on the deck.

Ancoi did a little bit of Alchemy today, using the ingredients he'd gathered from his trip to Fanacasecul he managed to get 8 Damage Fatigue potions. Realising he would have no use for them, he decided he would see Ogier at the Main Ingredient. He manged to haggle with him and get 13 potions for each of the potions and get 104 Septims.
Pleased with his gain, Ancoi decided to be a bit naughty and do some gambling. His heart raced as he handed his 50 Septims to the smiling Bosmer. He'd never bet on a match before and had his palms sweating the whole way through. Elated that the Blue Team had won, Ancoi gave a standing ovation and ran outside, eager to collect his winnings. Ancoi was grinning ear to ear when he told Honditar to keep 50 and put it on the Blue Team again.
But his heart sunk when he watched the Imperial come out with a measly dagger. Although surprised how long it lasted, Ancoi was not surprised by the result.

Feeling down, he hoped that a walk in the Arboretum would cheer him up. Even though the sunset was beautiful and the birds were happily chirping away, he couldn't escape the fact he'd just lost 50 Spetims. There was only one solution.

Get drunk at the Foaming Flask.

He was at his favourite hangout, enjoying his Roast Ham and Surrilie Bros. Wine, when he saw Carwen sneaking around. Thinking nothing of it, he was absorbed in his drink and not looking around, when he heard cries of 'thief!' Knowing this was Carwen, Ancoi was worried. He'd talked to the elf a few times and liked her. And then the guard came. The fight was short, and Carwen lay dead. The Guard didn't even have the decency to move the body.
This made Ancoi angry, he stood over the body, with a disgusted look on his face and ran home with his wine and binged on it, he couldn't get the image of Carwen being slaughtered out of his head.
He won't be sleeping tonight.

Today Broc Gro Orlag a strong warrior went traveling east from Anvil heading towards Skyngrad. He came upon a fort or cave (said cave on the map but looked like a fort to me) he went inside looking around fighting different marauders and zombies. Just as he was about to leave he came around a corner and was supprised to see a few more he overlooked now he was overwhelmed and couldn't get away fast enough. So he is tending his wounds at home in anvil when he is all healed he is gonna try again to see if he can find anything and get out with no injuries this time.

Shortly after arriving to Corinthe (and while Cayo was enjoying some typical cheap touristic shopping), some surprising rumors arrived to his ears: "The Vitellius family are selling the magnificent Castle Wolfspike!" "Yes, you know, that big castle in the Topal Bay, near Black Marsh" "For a mere fraction of it's price, they say!". Surprised, he asked about those rumors, and shortly after he inmediately left Corinthe.

Many years ago, the Artaria clan (where Cayo belongs) were called "The Guardians of the Two Seas", as they were the owners of Castle Seaview (located at the coast of the Abecean Sea) and Castle Wolfspike (located at the Topal Bay), but Cayo's grandfather disastrous management ended up with the worst possible outcome for the Artarias: they had to sell Wolfspike. Even more, they had to sell it to a RIVAL family.

Cayo's father eventually managed to stabilize the clan's economy, but never managed to recover Wolfspike, even though the clan had the money to pay for it's recovery...but the Vitellius simply wouldn't want to sell it, much less to them. But destiny is capricious as it seems, and now Cayo had a chance to finally recover their castle, and remove that thorn in his clan's honor.

He arrived to Wolfspike in less time that he imagined (after all, Corinthe is pretty close to Leyawiin), and he managed to talk with the castle keeper and steward. He confirmed that the Vitellius had already moved away from the castle, and after some bribes (he knew he was an Artaria, anyway), he sold the castle's deed to Cayo. He was surprised he wasn't too reluctant to do so, and so he asked about that. "We were tired of how those wetched Vitellius managed the castle", the steward replied, "They only looked out for themselves and not for the castle, or either the village. A few years more and several parts of the castle itself would have to be dismantled and sold. We only want a Lord that manages us well, and leave us to live in peace and justice". Cayo agreed to do so, and promised that there will always be an Artaria in the castle, and that he would put everything in his power in order for them never to see a bad management again.

After a little tour though the castle village and the castle itself, Cayo went to his room, and wrote a letter to his parents. Oh, how happy they'd be to hear all of this...

BEWARE! My next posts WILL contain spoilers from a questmod (concretely "The Sundered Keep"). If you're a PC user, and you haven't played it, read the next posts at your own risk. Console-exclusive players are safe to read.

After putting everything in order in Castle Wolfspike, Cayo decided to end his holidays. "Makes no sense to return again to Elsweyr....besides, I'm tired of doing nothing", he thought. So he put back his Legion uniform, and returned to Fort Akatosh.

Vilja was there, of course (since her first visit to the Fort, and after befriending General Esdrecus, she decided to stay there permanently, becoming kind of "the Lady of the Fort", which all the legionnaires loved, alongside with Cayo, although he felt a bit...jealous), and Cayo spent some time talking with her about his time in Elsweys, rumors and some other chit-chat. After some time, and seeing that the General didn't summon him, he decided to go to his quarters and rest for a while...

...until some strange noises awake him.

Cayo went out to the passageway and saw two Legion soldiers fighting....a Xivilai. And not a normal one, but one glowing with a strange red pattern. He joined the fight and the three of them managed to slay it quickly enough, but during the combat Cayo couldn't stop noticing that the beast was strangely centered at attacking him. After the fight, one of the guards noticed that the daedra had some note attached to his arm. He picked it up, and inmediately gave it to Cayo. "It seems that it's for you, my captain". It seemed that the note came from someone called "Myria", and that she invited him to pay a visit to her tower, situated deep in the Blackwood forest. "Odd" -Cayo thought-, "I better inform the General by the morning, at least so he knows where I am". He ordered the soldiers to go back to their posts, and prepared himself for a meeting with the General. It was nearly dawn after all.

General Esdrecus became silent for a few moments, after Cayo explained what happened just a few hours ago. He seemed sad, and even a bit melancholic when he talked again. "Myria, you said...yes, I know who she is. One of the most talented battlemages I've ever met. I don't find it odd that she managed to summon such a beast, and that she managed to point to it the exact target. Her intentions are...otherwise. She mysteriously left the Legion years ago -she was never too much disciplined herself, you know-, and her whereabouts are completely unknown since then. The last thing we know about her is that she burnt to ashes the study she had just outside the Fort. When men were sent to investigate -once the flames were suffocated-, they found some tunnels inside...alongside many horrible beasts. We lost a lot of good men there, and the few survivors that managed to come out from that Oblivion hole were frightened to the death. So we sealed the entrance and still today all guards that have their current watch at the Fort's East door are always told to keep an eye on those ruins"

The General stopped talking for a brief moment, and then looked to Cayo: "That makes no sense, Captain. Myria wasn't by far a model soldier, but I knew her. Her heart was always with justice and protection for the weak, and always in the right place. This summoning and this attack makes no sense to me, as it makes no sense the creatures in her study's basemant. My own heart feels that there's something odd happening. So here are my orders: go to her meeting, do her bidding if you must, and in the meanwhile you must investigate her: her whereabouts, the reason for those creatures in her study's ruins, the real reason why she left the Legion. Uncover it all, then report it to me"

"At your command, my General", Cayo replied.

So Cayo left the Fort and went south, towards a meeting with a *possibly mad battlemage*. Or so he thought (not without a certain pessimism) at those moments.

As usual my charecter went down to the bar, got him self drunk, and got into a fistfight with everyone once they accused me of stealing a fork. To say the least the gaurds weren't too happy... again. Anyways in prison I discovered my secret stack of lockpicks I left everytime I came to prison (about 30 picks). So I picked the lock and got out only to find a not-so-happy gaurd waiting for me outside once I gathered my gear, this time I desided to run for it and try out run the gaurd; I learned that gaurds will run great lengths to catch people who steal practicly worthless spoons. Anyway evertually I get far enough way to where I think it's safe to get off my go into a inn for the night; and with my great luck a gaurd confronts me once I get inside, I then realized that I have been carrying around enough gold to pay off my bounty over 12 times. MAJOR FACEPALM
