What DLCs should I grab for Oblivion (Xbox 360)?

Post » Thu Oct 22, 2015 6:43 am

Hi again! I see a big list on the Xbox Marketplace but not all of them are story content. Could someone point me in the right direction so I only grab the stuff that extends the original story? I haven't started playing yet but I will here any moment so go easy on the spoilers, lol. I know, it got released in 2006? But I should finish in a few days and be caught up

I wouldn't say any of them really extend the original story. They add their own individual stories. Anyway, here is a link to the UESP page on the DCLs. You can click on each one to read a more detailed description of what each contains:

Only you can decide which DLC are "worth it" to you. Some DLC that are essential to some players are worthless to other players. Some people love Horse Armor. Others hate it. It's all a matter of personal opinion. You'll have to decide for yourself.

Yes, this. Just get 'em all. I know when I got all the DLC a couple years ago, the fee was less than $20.00, so why not add all that you can?

That being said, not all the DLC is very extensive. If you're particular, you may want to do some research so that you aren't disappointed for whatever reason (cough cough Horse Armor...). But a couple years ago (before I was on PC) I wanted to add all that I could to the base game.
