What does everyone want for Automatron?

Just asking what people want in the addition to the release of Automatron, or maybe following updates.


Simply keep it simple what you want, and somewhat realistic, I have some unrealistic wants too, but still best to keep the requests reasonable.



Personally I want two things:


  • Lots of Random encounters

  • They make sure that the code they use for the customizing robots, be implemented into the Creation Kit
    (I'm not a modder, but I would thoroughly enjoy seeing what people would make with it.)

I hope that after you beat the boss that the world doesn't just become this bland boring world again. I hope that there are lots of random junker robots roaming around attacking and stuff.

Let us build multiple robots that we can station as guard dogs at our settlements. And faction paint jobs for our robots.



Also, since it seems like we'll be able to put attach some of our own weapons like Gamma Guns and Gatling Lasers to our robots, I'd love to give a Sentry Bot a Gauss Rifle arm.

We saw plenty of skulls in the trailer but I'm hoping for some other "face" options for the bots. Teddy bear would be an obvious option but maybe some mannequin heads, PA helmets or a severed raider head as well?

A protectron. Plain and simple. Not sure what weaponry it will have. Maybe railroad spike shooter like the utility protectron.

Also Robobrains with long spaghetti arms that can use whatever weapon you give them.

an actual long DLC quest and enough creativity in robot building that it won't leave people bored as they just grab the same ol' "Sentry bot but with moar armor and damage" model. Give each bot their own strengths and weaknesses to make them all viable in end-game content.

I'm satisfied with what they show. Lots of enemies, a few new locations, and a huge variety of mods for the robot-crafting.



I still want to know if we can assign robots we create to our settlements. I want powerful bosses, maybe a huge ass robot that can rival, swan, mirelurk queen, etc. I also want to remotely control these robots man, I don't think the dlc will let you do that otherwise we would already know, but I can only hope. I don't think we can pilot anything but that would be cool too.



That is all, the rest of my worries are about customization, but I saw the trailer it already shows a lot more new kinds of robots than we all thought.

They might have made them faster as companions. Itd be silly if they still left them slow considering they are suppose to follow you.

This game is full of Power Armors, several of which we don't even use, would be cool if they let us build robots using PA pieces.

Expectations are pretty low. A few more random encounters. New side quest that leads to a new location with a new boss.

The ability to make robots doesn't really appeal that much as I have no idea what I'd do with them. I'd prefer a companion like the one's we have, if any at all. Having a bot just follow me around for extra firepower ... whatever. Not like I need it.
