There are cloth type hands/feet that aren't considered light or heavy armor.

I just started a character and plan to be 100% mage. First time I've done this ever and I been around since Morrowind. So yeah, no idea what to put on de feets. Level 1 is too early to go over to the college of Winterhold?

You can get various cloth footware, from beggars rags to nobles boots. Go searching and you will find.

Never too early to go to the College of Winterhold...

Me personally I sold mine (not sure why) so I'm using leather right now, but I go light armor, then enchant for cool effects.

It is if you can't even summon an atronarch to even get in.

Anyone can get into the College. Just take the test from the bridge guard. It's really easy. And you'll learn a new spell.

At the moment, a pair of fine boots with +Lightning resistance (magicka drain...), I intend to upgrade to Redguard Boots with +carry weight.

I am still not sure if you can dual enchant items with the same enchantment, but if not then I'll probably add some Fire Resistance.

Your probably better of using light/heavy armor as a mage, then using enchanting to get 0% magicka consumption, destruction for example.

Not exactly. I was trying to get in yesterday, thought I had to talk with some guy in there, but with 100 Magicka and the Flame Atronach spell costing 135 to cast I was screwed.. Searched my bags for a Potion that would boost my Magicka but of course I've just sold it 1 hour earlier. :banghead:

*EDIT* Spelling..
