Every time im against a enemy that are using some sort of two handed blade they do a lot of damage. when im against a one handed fight they do ALOT LESS.

I've always prefer ed one handed because you can dual wield with it or block with a shield. That and I would say because its more balanced. You can also combine magic like restoration or destruction with a one handed sword.

The weapons get better with smithing. So if you plan on using weapons and armor, than I'd use smithing to enhance weapons and really use enchanting to fortify your one handed skill to do more damage.

I recall always getting torn to pieces when an enemy dual-wields two one-handed blades. Two handed weapons do loads of damage when power-attacking.

Only against 2-handed wielding bandit chiefs did I ever get killed by a killcam though my HP still was half full.

The damage input is definitely greater.
