What does Relz and Wipz mean?

Post » Mon May 02, 2011 11:08 pm

Here's some more advice that noobies get on this forum:
You can install OSR through OBMM by making an OMOD, but BAIN would be better. WIZBAIN is still WIP. Should get a WIZBAIN for FCOM, and one for OOO+MMM. OOO is nice, though some like ROM. Others prefer TIE over FCOM, until TIE4MODS comes out. FCOM incorporates OOO, MMM, Frans and OWC. And now there is OWC-ND as well - its German, just like B&M. Other favs include COBL, KDQ, ULs, BCs (some prefer OCR), DR5, II (Immersive Interiors? Item Interchange?), VASE, TAS, RGO, NR&B, MMO, EE, nGCD. QTP3 if you have enough VRAM, else go for QTP3R or QTP3Reduced.

Forthcoming favorites include OCA, DR6 (currently BETA), UV2 (WIP), RST (BETA), ARES, NiFSE, VORB. Oh, and don't forget to PYFFI your meshes, and run TES4LODGEN when using RAEVWD. And of course, BOSS (and BOMM if using version <1.6). OBSE is a must for OBGE, PiiP, OBME, and other awesome mods. :blink:

PS: If you read that and understand it all without having to think, you've been here too long, just like me :wink_smile:

I also need to send a PM to PM for a WB update, as the SVN version is failing at CBASH. :hubbahubba:

Guess I have been around too long...lol You didn't even loose me with the last one!!

Replacing "s" at the ends of words with "z" is one of four things hip hop and l33t nerdz have in common. Can you name the other three?*

* I just made this up, plz don't hurt yr brain

Hell, even I don't get all those acronyms, including some that I actually use.

:rofl:

And we're a fairly newbie friendly bunch of people...

Ah Ha! A typo! Someone clearly needs to brush up on their acronyms. :P
Hear, hear :stare:

And yeah, PiiiP is the worst one to type. :lol:

I think PyFFI is hardest to spell or, rather, to use in sentences. Are meshes PyFFIed?

anithinks, you missed one.
II (Immersive Interiors? Item Interchange?)
And Immersive Interface. But I haven't seen Immersive Interiors put as II, just Immersive Interface and Item Interchange. If I'd known about Immersive Interface when I named Item Interchange, I'd have picked a different name, I got quite confused the first time I saw someone posting a thread asking questions about "II" as if it were an interface mod. :blink:

And I didn't blink at any of those... scary and that's despite the fact I haven't used many of them.

Edit: Wait! We don't need the "z" anymore? The handle can handle three-letter-word searches now? Sweet!

haha amusing ani.

WIZBAIN stuck but BYFFI didn't... lol. But I guess BYFFI Iz 4 MDRz, not PLRz. It is a procedure. Not a mod or a utility.

I might stick that snip in my test book mod just for laughs. Just to CONFUSz noobs.

Tho I didn't know some of them right off the bat, laughingly, I did know whether you where speaking of a mod or not.

I better quit laughing or I might fall off the stump again...

EDITz: DLT is a must with a customized mouse such as a G5.

@Metallicow:
I remembered BYFFI while typing that, but just like other acronyms/abbreviations such as BAB, HGEC, EVE-HGEC (that I am not sure what they stand for), I excluded them in case someone (like Nero_BlackFire) asked me what they stood for. :sweat:

I guess BYFFI is Blender-YFFI, instead of PYthon-FFI? ;)

@Vac:
Man, I am sure I don't know many other popular (or once-popular) mods. Immersive Interface - yes, I have a faint recollection of that, before DarN/Dark DarN became the de facto over that and BTmod).

@povu: :rofl:

@wrinkly/shademe: You know, I have been using PiiiP since its RELz :P, but I always read it as PiiP!! :lmao:

@Arkngt: thanks for http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tes4Mod:Acronyms

UESP is missing POC from their list of acronyms.

Edit: Wait! We don't need the "z" anymore? The handle can handle three-letter-word searches now? Sweet!

I'm still using the 'z'. It's tradition on this forum. The rest of world can drop it, but I'm going to representing the z.
