What does a typical Internet session consist of for you?

RayWilliamJohnson

Finally! Another fan! All my friends hate him. It's surprisingly hard to find another Equals Three fan considering he's the second most popular personality on Youtube. Watch out for the squaids. :P

Facebook, Wired, Gizmodo, Lifehacker, Cracked, The Oatmeal, Bungie forums, and here if there's time.

Edit: Almost forgot Gamesradar.

Read news on Stuff.
Update Facebook status with a comment on whatever stupid story made the news this time.
Head over to these forums for a while.
Check bank balance. Get sad when there's less money in there than the last time I checked.
Check emails.
Browse Twitter for a while and laugh at Cosmo's brilliantly stupid relationship/intimate advice.
Give up on the internet and play Oblivion.

Sadly most of my life is on the computer now that I am homeschooling. But next year I am going back to public schools so no more obsessive computer use! Back on topic. The tabs I have open every session are these forums, Facebook and YouTube. But there will be many other tabs open of a variety of websites.

Hack a government server then sell the data to Russians. Call the FBI, sell info on where to capture Russian spies. Do it all again tomorrow.

:disguise: That's what I'm talkin about.

Wake up, turn on both computers. Shuffle to the kitchen to grab my diet mt. dew. Shuffle back to the den and check email on the XP pc. Check news headlines on Win7 pc. Then check several forums that I visit regularly, including, now, this one. Now and then I check YouTube or movie review sites. That's about it for "regular" check-ins.

During baseball season I log onto Twitter while using mlbtv to watch games...cheering on my teams with internet peeps is mostly what I use Twitter for - it's fun to share live games w/others like that, when you can't be at a game in person. Twitter is largely ignored the rest of the year. I have no facebook, myspace, or other social networking. I used to blog/do other boring stuff on my own personal websites but they're largely forgotten at the moment.

The rest of the time is spent on household/domestic stuff, photography stuff, and gaming.
