What *don't* you want to see in Lonesome Road?

What would you rather not see in LR?
I've noticed that people keep requesting 'modern' guns.

I *don't* want Lonesome Road to be set in some lonely part of the wasteland. You can't 'explore' a huge stretch of blank desert.

I don't it to be about mindless exploring, I don't want it to not be lonely.

Light armor, light armor perks, and over powered cowboy and WW2 era guns. We have enough of that crap.

Agreed, but I don't think the Divide will be an empty part of the wasteland, it will probably be as "empty" as the Big Empty, if you know what I mean...

I dont want more power armor.

One "new" suit of power armor would be fine with me, considering there hasn't been any power armor in the DLCs. I suggest they use the suit from Fallout Tactics (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Advanced_power_armor_%28Fallout_Tactics%29)

Sandbox map. Companions. Power armor. Pointless map markers that got nothing to do with anything. Any sort of advanced tech.

Just do the lonesome cowboy act.

-Energy weapons. Has to be better than the Holorifle and YCS/186 for them to be any good.

-Magically spawning enemies, or enemies that blatantly cheat. If I can't build a character to do it they can't as well. Meanwhile, the "Spawn-a-mob-two-feet-behind-the-courier" trick has been overused already.

I know a lot of people have been complaining about this, but really, it makes sense according to the story, you know,
Spoiler
Dr Mobius no longer has reason to make the roboscorpions any more if you killed him/the brains or stopped the brains plans to leave. And the brains have no reason to drag people to Big Mt to lobotomize them after you've again, either killed or convinced them to stop.

Please, Obsidian, if you absolutely MUST have even more brown/yellow mountains and cacti ..... please, no more ****ing tribals. So sick of tin-pot tribes with no towns or settlements apart from a few raggedy-ass tents, with practically nothing to trade and very little interaction beyond mindless catchphrases.

Apart from that, I'm up for anything. You people ACED Old World Blues, so I'm hoping for more excellent value for money with Lonesome Road

I don t want fps drop.
I don t want a vendor that will take stuff from me, but not pay me ( if there is one )
I don t want several drastically different endings.

I believe the setting for LR will be very important to the story, so as long as the story is all that I hope for, I can care less about weapons or exploring for this one. Avellone will need the setting to match his story, which I expect this one to be very rich and meaningful.

I do want an epic find in LR by Ulysses that may have impact on future fo.

I do want to walk out of there being over 90% sure of what happened.

I don't want:
- Bomb Collars :stare:
- Boring story
- Short story
- Long story
- A little amount of new weapons and armor.

MENTATS!

Do Not Wants:

- quantum bullet sponge enemies. If you have to make the game hard, make it hard by making the combat fast and tense, not by letting every enemy take an entire case of rifle rounds in the skull before they get bored and die.

- half hour expositional monologues.

- ugly bugs that the community has to clean up

I don t want them to listen to this person about bullet sponges. If the action is fast, then that means my stats are a lie.

Fast is for shooters, not stat based rpgs. We are way past the point of having normal enemies. High hp/dt is all the can do to match our Uber Gods.

If I want stuff to go down fast, and have to aim really fast, then I ll jump on SOCOM 4 on-line. This game is not smooth enough to be a pure shooter anyway.
